  1, xp should be on the C: drive, not F:

• Windows Help window keeps popping up

  You can completely disable Windows XP search for a single user.  If you just want to do it for the current user, follow these steps:

  1. Select run from the start menu.
  2. Type "cmd" and press ENTER.
  3. Type "reg Export HKU backup.reg" and press ENTER.
  4. Type "reg add HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer /v NoFind /t REG_DWORD /d 1" and press ENTER.

• Window Popup with strange characters when you want to play music from the cloud

  When I try to play music on the cloud (music downloaded on my computer), I get a popup with some strange characters. It was working fine 2 days ago. Nothing has changed on my computer. I tried uninstalling iTunes and reinstalling. Shows the problem. Any help would be appreciated.

  As an addendum, I tried to download music (by clicking on the cloud icon, which then shows an arrow pointing downwards). This popup has shown once again.

  Then I thought maybe it was having a problem with my account or my computer don't think she was allowed. So I checked my account login, and I was connected. Then I tried allowing my computer and this popup appeared again. I then tried my scroll wheel and it seems that it is a right screen. I guess that is the lower right button 'accept' but I'm not confident in the present.

  Last week my computer started to show the popup "this computer is not running genuine Windows" every few hours. I have looked online and found out about the probable cause: the update of KB3004394 and the fix recommended: install the KB3024777 update...

  Before installing the KB3024777, I checked the list of "Installed updates" and saw that kb3004394 listed.  After using Windows Update to install KB3024777, I looked back into "Installed updates", and none of them has been listed.

  Since then, continued the popups "not authentic". I rebooted several times, which did not help. I followed the advice (from this forum) to try to reactivate, that I did via the "Change product key" link in the system-> Properties window. I entered the product key of my Windows 7 disc, and after a short wait, he said 'activation was successful. I then rebooted. But still the popups "not authentic".

  I'm out of ideas. :)

  My computer is an Apple MacPro running Windows 7 Professional x 64, service pack 1.
