  Hi now I know why I was not able to authorize my laptop computer with digital editions... Digital Editions do not have special characters in the password... then change your password and use only regular letters and numbers or something like that... Do not take A/O/U and so on

  I develop an epub FXL. The buttons do not work when you view the epub exported with ADE.

  ADE is not a very good reader FXL EPUB. Try Readium for Chrome or Kobo, iBooks.

  I've never had a problem with Adobe Digital Editions 2.0 and moving books of library in the corner until I started using a new computer with Windows 8.  Almost at every time now when I plug the Nook in the computer portable Adobe Digital Editions indicates it does not.   After a few attempts and reboots it will work, although slowly.

  I am Dutch but I live in the Portugal, however my Portuguese isn't enough, in the use of Adobe Digital Edition in Portyugese. I read the instructions for download on the Adobe site in English (with a Dutch title!) but will automatically display the software in Portuguese.

  How can I get this software in Dutch to English?

  And how do I get ebooks on my Kobo ereader?

  The language of the User Interface for the software Adobe Digital Editions 1.7.2 and later with Adobe Digital Editions 2.0 is affected by the language setting of your operating system.  Please be aware that the User Interface does not affect the content you want to view.  If you want to open a Dutch ePub/eBook you would be able to do.

  If you want to set the language of the Adobe Digital Editions software and then uninstall, adjust the language of your operating system and then reinstall.

  bought an ebook from the Google store, when I wouwnload the file .acsm to open it with Adobe Digital Edition this poopies window and the book will not open.

  

  Macintosh:

  1. exit the Adobe Digital Editions software.
  2. Navigate to / Users / / Library/Application Support/Adobe/Digital Editions and drag the activation.dat file to the trash.
     If you use 10.7, see library access hidden files. Mac OS 10.7 and later.
  3. Open Adobe Digital Editions and reauthorize.

  Windows:

  1. Open Adobe Digital Editions.
  2. Press Ctrl + Shift + D to Deauthorize Adobe Digital Editions.
  3. Select clear authorization.
  4. Click OK and exit the Adobe Digital Editions software.

  I have three problems with Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.0.

  In CSS, the @font face should contain local path to the folder fonts in the ebook (within OEBPS). Statement of the sample.

  Moving to this discussion on the Adobe Digital Editions forum.  Adobe Digital Editions uses the language of your operating system is configured to use.  You will need to set the language of the operating system so that the user interface of the Adobe Digital Editions software in English.

  It is worth noting that the language of the user interface has no influence on the language of the books that you can read.  You can read even English eBooks with Adobe Digital Edition set in another language.

  Hello, I managed to solve my problem of E_STREAM_ERROR regarding the Google Play ebook. The short answer is to use ADE 4.0.3.

  When I met the problem of the E_STREAM_ERROR, it is with ADE 2.0.67532 on Windows 7 (and this had no problem handling the Kobo CMHA, OverDrive files, open a library and a sample epub BCAM from Adobe itself). This is why I would not upgrade my 2.0.67532 to the last 4.0.3. Instead, I used another Windows 7 PC and installed ADE 4.0.3. On my first try, I allowed the 4.0.3 without ID, and there was an error E-GOOGLE_DEVICE_LIMIT_REACHED. I then allowed with the Adobe-same ID * as my 2.0.67532 PC. It worked as I could get my epub from Google.

  As I don't expect a response from Adobe technical support, I guess that now Google license servers do not work with Adobe 2.0.3. I hope this will help you solve your problem - at least to get your ebook in ADE first.

  However, I would be careful replacing 4.0.3 of my 2.0.67532 I wouldn't be surprised if the latest version will not work with other suppliers of epub for social mobilization. For me the upgrade to the latest version of the software is never the best solution - it could solve a problem, but creates another.

  Note: * I understand that you can authorize up to a total of six computers with the same Adobe ID. Not sure that this policy is still standing.

  2. Click Start > run.
  3. Open, type regedit in the text box and press ENTER. The Registry Editor opens.
  4. In the left pane of the registry editor, locate the following registry key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Adept
  5. Select the key of the follower.
  6. Choose file > export.
  7. In the export registry file dialog box, select the branch selected under export range. Enter a name and location for the backup registry key, and then click Save.
  8. Right click on the key to the follower, and then choose Remove.
  9. In the dialog box confirm the key deletion, click OK.
  10. Close the registry editor.
  11. Open Adobe Digital Editions and reauthorize.
