  I am struggling with trying to figure out how to customize the size and the location of the legend boxes within each image in a slide show. It seems that, once an initial caption box has been set in the first image, it appears in images to the same location and size, with no way to control them individually. I forgot something? Is there a way to customize the size and location of all the legends in a slide show? Your help/advice would be greatly appreciated.  ~ Thank you

  MCO, I had the same question and it has helped me:

  Thumbnail with release of the slide show:

  1. go to slide show options and check the thumbnail option. (Doing so the tiles will become visible)

  2. follow the same steps given under "Slideshow with thumbnail" updated legends

  3. once the captions are up to date, go to slide show options and disable thumbnails.

  (If your slideshow thumbnails, just use to select individual screens, where you can change your captions)

• How can you align the image in a slide show widget?

  I add a slideshow widget. His images are "fill the frame proportionally. I didn't want the image to resize, so I made 2500 px wide because that is what I want it to fit across the screen. There is no way to align the image once in the widget to the right or left...

  Should I have to export as HTML and then go inside the code and align the image? Or is there a way to do it?

  I had a look at your website, and I can tell that you used one of the widgets by default slide show. You are certainly able to control the position of the images in the slideshow hero once they have been added.

  To change the alignment or the position of an image that is part of a slide show widget:

  1. With the selection tool click on the widget to select.
  2. Then, double-click on the image.
  3. This will select the edge of the image. You can now drag to the position of the image.
     
  4. Or alternatively, you can select one of the corner handles and change the size of the image.

  So I created a mobile version of a site (landpotential.org), but the menu of the main home page does not work. You can go down the coming fall. I noticed it worked after removing the slide show under the header image is something in there about the origin of the problem. Does anyone know how to fix this? Be sure to check the site on a phone to see what I mean. The menu works on all other pages of the site.

  It seems that if the problem is with the positioning of the object in the same layer.

  Can you please place the accordion on another layer and let me know if it works.

  Help!  I try to add music from my itunes for a photo slideshow (in Adobe Photoshop or Windows DVD Maker).  I can't get any music to load.  I get a message on my system is not able to unzip (?) files.  This is a slide show for the funeral of my Nan.  Can someone help me?

  You must convert iTunes files to the .wma format.

  Might seem like a waste of a CD, but the easiest to convert
  files from iTunes to burn a music CD and then RIP it with Windows
  Media Player with .wma format target.

  The .wma files should import nicely into your projects.

• Help with Facebook and media social widgets (was: how to fix the three probs that...)

  I have problems with the facebook or social networking widgets. I would like the link to send viewers to my facebook business page, but when a test it shows my pic and a 'switch' sign (see screenshot) and when I opened the site, the message is as another screenshot, great, but I don't know where to find what "asset" is the problem and why. Also why have child pages if the menu reflects that? I see that drop down menus are a problem, also with some other members of the forum.

  For some reason any the facebook widget now load the right page and I give up on the drop down menu, I hope that this issue will be resolved in the next update of Muse?

  For the issue of the "asset", try to locate assets in the active panel. It must have an icon like this: http://jingsite.businesscatalyst.com/jing/2013-12-16_0917.png

  For children in the edition of menu pages, go to menu options (by clicking on the small blue arrow in the upper right of the menu), and then change the type of menu to 'All the Pages' instead of 'high level Pages '.

• I cannot produce a "DVD with titles", 4 slide shows.

  I selected slideshows and begun the process in DVD to post-secondary studies. I found that the PSE will only accept slide shows in 1 group and will not let me add slideshows later (not support and/or codec missing). Some slides get turned to 90 deg when put in PSE and a photo is not accepted, even if it is in jpg format, which are all other photos. Unclear why this should be.

  Initially tried to combine slideshows with vidoe project (of which the aide said guide is possibel), but to find any which way I started (slide show or video) format added is considered bundles. Can't see why there is a problem.

  Do you mean the Premiere Elements? You can not any kind of DVD video in PSE, only the horrible VCD format. PRE has its own forum, which is here:

• 100% browser in slide show widget width.

  Is it possible that I can have a slideshow of images to 100% of the width of the browser?

  I tried to expand the boundaries of the slide show to the grey area, but it does not work. That said, the white space on each side of the browser appears (see below)

  I wish to inform you that 100% browser width does not work for Images. That's essentially the Rectangles and text boxes.

  As you use slideshow of images, I'm afraid, that it might not work for you. A similar feature request is already documented here: http://forums.adobe.com/ideas/2108#comment-5612

• help centering on a slide show photos

  I am trying to build a slide show where I can load external jpg of different sizes in my movie and make them centered. I am trying to center the images by loading them into a 'holder' in flash mc, then replacing the x and is coordinated by loading the width of each image in script action from an external text file. I am using the same technique that I learned from my HOT Book beyond the basics from lynda.com, but it doesn't seem to work. That's what my action script looks like:

  Hmmm... Sorry, but it's just a bad way to do it. Use of the MovieClipLoader
  to load your images. MCL onLoadInit method you can get the charge
  width and height of images and Center it accordingly.

• With the help of slide show Widgets

  Hey all.  Just a quick question regarding one of the slideshow Widgets.

  First, I added the image of Heroes on the page and have included the thumbs as a navigation tool (replaced them thumbs with colors to act as a kind of browser).

  Everything works well - however when I scroll to the bottom of the page, the image of hero moves with the page, but the thumbs are locked in place in the middle of the page (basically, everything scrolls under the thumb).  I want the thumbs to stay in position under the hero and move with the scrolling of the page.

  I'm sure it's something simple, but I can't seem to find it.  Any thoughts?

  It's hard to picture, but this shows what happens when I scroll on the page of images.  The thumb remains in place while the hero image scrolls upward with the page.  I want the thumbs to scroll upward with the hero - stay in the same spot relative to image - as was designed (above).

  Looks like you accidentally "pinned" Indeed, one of the components of the widget.

  But I would add another thought get this right in a more appropriate manner:

  Why not use the slideshow widget Composition category?

  Not that it would solve this strange effect, but it is better to design your thumbs with, rather than use curiously used thumbnails icons without icon. The difference is that the slideshow widgets are highly automated and keep a very strict consistency between the hero and the thumbnailimage. While the Composition widgets offer more freedom. This freedom comes with a little more work to put your images (or anything else) in the areas of the 'target' , but maybe you can spot some advantages over during use.

• Help with subordinating the image show?

  I developed a set of dynamic pages (php) that show examples of works by artists, but have a problem with displaying in IE browsers. Because the table is configured to carry a maximum of 4 images and text associated alt, IE holds a picture poster in place of the 'missing' images, where the maximum number of images is not used.
  To resolve this problem, I would like to be able to make the page display only the number of images that are in the table, without displaying the holders of additional image. I guess it can be done with a sort of a FI... ELSE statement?
  The page in question is generated when an artist is selected in list of exhibitors. For example, the list Sue James uses only 2 images and the page looks so it's broken images at the bottom of the list because of the image place holders.
  Any suggestions or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

  I went with your first suggestion because I found it easier to understand. Have tweaked to satisfy the various categories of table and it works a treat on all sections - artists, businesses, and educational applications.

  I added a few gifs for my slideshow widget in Adobe Muse, but when I check my website the gifs are going too fast.

  Does anyone else have this problem? Gifs play at normal speed, even when I saw my site on Muse, but whenever I have publish the gifs are accelerated on my site online.

  Don't know how to solve this problem!
