• Apex_ITEM. Checking the CHECKBOX column header

  Hi - I have a report created with the 1st column using the APEX_ITEM. Api CHECKBOX2. The column displays OK with the title like "Select" I put the label column.

  However, I would like the user to be able to see a CHECKBOX in the column header label where she can click / uncheck to select all the lines or Unselect all the lines. • Help to 2 column layout

  I can't seem to get quite the layout works correctly on this.

  Problem - the main content column forms a protrusion in the menu bar space and is not aligned with the top of the sidebar column. I wish that the MainContent and columns Sidebar to have their tops lined up between them. I need to keep the content column main protrusion in the menu bar.

  I inserted a bar menus spry and then changed the default style a little. It seems as it should. It is placed where it should be. All the css so that it is stored in a separate folder that DW created when I add the spry menu. With the exception of a css, MenyBar1 rule, which is in the other primary css file. I don't think that I added that, but honestly, I'm not sure. I don't know if the style of the menu bar is responsible for sentencing. I messed around with so much of the margin and etc. on all elements that I'm now quite confused.

  I hope that someone can take a look at this and help me understand what I did wrong.

• Insertion of a middle Page of separate text on a two column layout box

  I'm working on a book with a layout in two columns.  At various times, I need to insert what are effectively the chapter breaks.  Currently I have a giant text block flowing for all 65 pages.  This provision is (I think?) made necessary by the scripts that I am running for our line numbers and our notes.

  My original idea was to put the chapter title in a separate text block and wrap the text around it, so that I can keep the unique setting of the main text.  Unfortunately, in the two-column layout, this means that the text in the first column went * under * the title of the chapter to complete the first column, no matter where I moved it.

  I think I may need to end the block of text of the first chapter and start a second for the new chapter get the result I want.  However, I have a few worries about that: first of all, if I ended up simply text block, I should remove the other 55 pages (after the break) I already partially formatted and screw them from scratch in the text box of the new chapter?  Secondly, I also fear that making a separate text block could ruin my scripts endnote and line numbers.

  (NB: if I need to put an end to this block of text and starting a new one, I can't find a way to do it on a page at the beginning of a block of text in several pages, so I need help with this, too.)

  Y at - it a simple way to insert this text box so that text of the first chapter ends perfectly in two columns above it, and the next chapter starts cleanly into two columns underneath?

  Now that you have your text formatted in a single framework with two columns, you can select the chapter header text and tell him to cover all the columns in the text block.

  Still not clear with the wording of the explanation. I understand that there is an interactive relationship with the first column as a box to tick and the loading of the page you want all the boxes ticked.

  To make this writing a dynamic action on the page load to run some JavaScript as follows:

  But this applies to all of the check boxes on the page. If you want more specific a class say chkbox adds the checkbox column and change the dynamic action above to:

• Trying to create a Section to multiple columns with Sections of the single column before and after

  Is there a way to create a section break that is not default to a new page after I created columns on a page.  I created the columns and under them, I want to return to the normal formatting for the rest of the single page.  See picture attached.

  Any rejection of Pages v5 has a break of presentation which was present in the Pages ' 09 v4.3. This will allow you to transition to several columns and back to single column on the same page. In the v5 Pages, you can insert 3 text boxes and change the 3-column layout in the Middle text box. You use the toolbar item Insert to inject column breaks when you want to start a new list in the next column. I'll show this screenshot below.

  You can fake your layout in Pages v5 using 3 text boxes and setting 3 columns in the Central text area. Better to show the mode of provision for this and in a text box, the column outlines are not displayed. After each column list, you then choose column break the Insert point toolbar menu to move to the next column, add a list, repeat. Each column will expand downwards.   You want to just copy the value of the of the sal to the text box column. Its simple javascript.

  Looking at your page source I see that you call a function called spCheckChange. You use an application process in this function. Is this really necessary? The result is a heavy AJAX call.

  You can simply use jQuery, if you create your report the right way i.e. add attributes to the checkbox and textbox which serve to identify which box would copy a value in what text box.

• JS script to continue parallel to the new pages column layout

  It seems that lndesign continue a layout to the next page pairs automatically when your typing in a single column wraps to the next page.  I was told I could this script, and since I did JS script on web pages for a while, shouldn't be too hard, I hope, if I explain the layout here?

  The layout is simple - 4 parallel columns spread over 2 pages front - each column will hold a separate text that 3 others, and these texts will NOT be stuck in - they will be created AS I type.  I can't find a word processor to do this, because none can wrap a column of a number of page in the first page number (not the next odd page number).  Again, if you think of the layout in the finished printed book, it is very apparent - you want the two texts on the left-hand page to stay always on the left and two on the right to stay on the right, turn to any page of the book.

  Technically speaking, column 1 of the same 2 page will wrap to column 1 of page 4.  Column 2 on the same page will end up to page 4.  Similarly, both the 2 columns to the right of the right page (odd) will always wrap down to the next odd-numbered page. All I need is to do this automatically while I'm typing.  So what column I'm typing in, when I arrive at the end of this column on the current page, the same provision will be created for the next pair of pages on the fly.  If you just keep typing, and when NO column reaches the end of this page, a new page layout will be created if it does not already exist.

  This frame of page avoides linking repeatedly on hundreds of pages, which is a continuous concern that will affect my concentration on the content of the book.  I want the layout simply continue to go to the background for as long as I type.  Simple requirement - can - it be done in Javascript?

  I don't really have the time to write scripts that are free right now, but if you want to make the effort to write yourself, this should help you get started:

  As long as the tables/columns can be the same, a report should be ok.

  On my page, option buttons are defined as a LOV using:

  STATIC2:All;ALL,Department 10;D,Names beginning with A;A,Salary > 2000;S
  

  So 'All' return 'ALL', ' Department 10 "returns"D", 'Names...' returns 'A' and"Salary..." ' returns "S".

  My report SQL statement is:

  SELECT EMPNO, ENAME, DEPTNO, NVL(SAL,0) SAL, NVL(COMM,0) COMM
  FROM EMP
  WHERE
  (:P176_REPORT = 'ALL')
  OR
  (:P176_REPORT = 'D' AND DEPTNO = 10)

  (:P176_REPORT = 'A' AND UPPER(ENAME) LIKE 'A%')
  OR

  So if the user selects "ALL", the report would return all records that the first condition would be true, if they chose "D", the second condition would become true, so only records where the DEPTNO = 10 would be returned, as so on.

• by clicking on a bookmark the new page starts in the bookmarks column. Win 7 home. FFox does reset no help.

  If the bookmarks column is in place, click a bookmark to launch the page in the bookmarks column, and not in a browser page. I reinstalled Firefox last and reset that. It still does not work. Also disabled Norton bar. No help there. Can stand up thin pages by typing a partial address in the url bar, or select in the display in a new tab. Framing of the page seems too broad, doesn't show is not the superior Firefox = icon left click on for Help etc. Samsung laptop computer on Windows 7 Home premium.

  It could be a sign of file corruption creeping affecting your places.sqlite database, which stores your bookmarks and history. If you delete this file, Firefox will rebuild it from a backup of your bookmarks. However, the most recent backup may include the designation "open in sidebar" already. While perhaps not a good idea.

  I don't know what to think at this point, except save more recent copies of your backup files in a safe place can be useful. You can copy them in the following folder:

  Use the help > troubleshooting information > "View file" button to open your folder of personal settings currently active Firefox (also known as your profile folder).

  Double-click the folder bookmarkbackups. You should see several files dated backup.

  Use a two-column, not two frames of a column and set the paragraph header style span columns.
