Hi, I do not exactly know what sub-topic to post this question. So I'm posting it here.

I use Adobe Acrobat X Pro on a Windows 7 32-bit system and I have a problem of display of Adobe Acrobat.

When I open any file, the screen goes haywire. I don't know how to explain it... but the page breaks, the menu bar disappears, and the title bar is missing. After pressing F9, 2 - 3 times the bar menu and title bar returns, disappearing again. In short, the screen gets all mixed up. I've had this problem for a few months now. I switched to Foxit Reader and display looks very good. But I want to continue to use Adobe Acrobat as it has more features and I have a lot of work to do with Acrobat.

Help, please.

I've updated from Kaspersky. So far, the problem seems to have disappeared. I hope this problem is resolved.

    This problem occurs because the backup process detects that the system drive is dirty.
    Windows Vista backup always includes the system as part of the backup drive. If the system drive is dirty, the backup process skips the system drive, and no snapshot of the system drive is created. Therefore, the backup cannot locate a snapshot of the system drive later, and the error occurs.
    Error message when you try to perform a backup system on a Windows Vista-based computer: "catastrophic failure (0x8000FFFF)".

    Let us make the below listed methods and check if we still get the error message.
     
    Method 1.
    I would ask you to reset the Windows UPdate components and check if you still get this error message.
    Click the Fix It button in the article below to do it automatically or you can do it manually as wel. For more information, refer to the article below.

    Method 2.
    If the error still persists please provide us with the error log:
    Type eventvwr.msc/s in the address bar.
    The list of all the events that are listed as 'Error' in the main window when you go to 'Newspapers Windows' and 'Application '. There is often a large number of them. Send us any ones you see listed for the last few days. (Please also do it for the log files in 'System'). When you do, provide us the name of the 'Source' and all that is listed in the description below the list of newspapers box when you click on one.
     
    Method 3.
    I would also recommend to install the Windows Update Agent to manage the updates on your computer.

    The video codec that is required to decode and display the video can not be installed on your computer.

    Today, there are hundreds of audio and video codecs in use. Some were created by Microsoft, but the vast majority of codecs have been created by other companies, organizations or individuals. By default, the Windows operating system and the player includes a number of the most popular codecs, such as MP3, Windows Media Audio and Windows Media Video.
     

    Method 1.
    How to determine what codec is installed and how to install it automatically?
    a. to determine what codec was used with a specific file, play the file in the player, if possible. When the file is playing, right-click the file in the library, and then click Properties.
    b. on the file tab, look at the sections of video codec and Audio codec.
    Download and install the Codecs by going to the PLAYER tab and check.
    c. connect you to the Internet and Download Codecs automatically.
