Hi people, background image pilling to the right?

Hi people, I enclose a picture of what I see on a Web page and

I wonder why the left would also bleed on the right side of the screen instead of just keep no green color on the far right?

Pls see attached picture.

Repeats in the background.  If you don't want to do, when you set background make sure you add the "no-repeat" attribute in your CSS code.

The background image doesn't repeat from left to right and SHOULD NOT extend to any down. However, it's what happens on the pc. Thanks in advance for the help!

  • Background image to fit the browser window

    Hi all
    I would like a background image to fit the browser window with a section of content it contains / above it. I can't do too much work, but I've done a mock up for you give an idea on http://www.greenpatch.co.uk/test/test.html! The basis for the content CSS is as follows:
    #container {}
    Width: 770px;
    margin-right: auto;
    left margin: auto;
    border: thin solid #FF0000;
    top of the margin: 207px;
    }
    #header {}
    Width: 770px;
    height: 120px;
    background: url(images/newbackground.jpg) no-repeat;
    border-bottom: thick Ridge #006633;
    }
    {#contentwrapper}
    Width: 768px;
    float: left;
    }
    #left {}
    float: left;
    Width: 212px;
    }
    #right {}
    float: right;
    Width: 525px;
    padding: 10px 20px 50px 0px;
    }
    #footer {}
    Width: 770px;
    padding-top: 8px;
    Clear: both;
    padding-bottom: 8px;
    border-top: Ridge average #006633;
    background: #669966;
    }

    Any suggestions much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

    Note Although the distortion. You can use this method if you must, but I
    invites you to put some min and max limits on the size of your page. Otherwise,.
    It will look all just horrible on the ultra wide screens or 3 components.

  • Could not apply the background image available to the Group Panel in demand for space

    I tried to apply the background image available to the Group Panel class css as well as with the style inline like below

    background-image: url('/content/conn/intra-dot-content/path/mywebcenter/lever/backgroundmain.jpg'); background-position: center; background-repeat: repeat-y;

    The background image is not displayed. but it works with the layout of the border Panel. Does work around the issue

    You can style the layout of the group with combination adf skinning and css as a performer below

    . My-in-head-container {}

    Background: # 4 7800 url(/portal/images/website/header.png) high horizontally at the Center;

    position: relative;

    z index: 600;

    }

    {AF | panelGroupLayout.Content.Banner}

    margin-top: 0px;

    padding: 0;

    border: none;

    margin-bottom: 0px;

    padding-bottom: 15px; / * to fix the space between the header & content - min * /.

    background-color: transparent; / * to fix the space between the header & content - min * /.

    position: relative;

    overflow: hidden;

    }

    Then, you can see the style only

    styleClass = "my-in-head-container banniΦre" rendered = "#{! composerContext.inEditMode}" id = "pt_pgl2" > "

  • Center the div in parent div Background Image and not the whole page

    I am trying to Center a background image, I have inserted as create a div via the new css rule and will have questions centering correctly on the page. I would it is centered at the top of the page contet - left area of the page content, and it seems that the background image is ignorant parent his div and is centering the page-level. It's a problem because its parent div that 2/3 of the page, therefore covers, in question background image is cropped.

    I did a video showing the problem here, because I'm not sure I use the right words to describe the problem

    Dreamweaver Background Image needs centered at the top of the page content DIV - YouTube

    In other words, I insert a div tag and add a background image so that I can place the content above it, however, the background image seems to be centered in the entire page and not simply within the Division 'parent' in design mode, everything is centered, however, in direct mode, the background image is offset. I can't really explain for good so I made another video.

    Still another problem as can be seen in the video but not prime, since it still works live, is:

    In addition, my navigation bar is direct, but in design mode, it appears at the bottom of the screen. I did fix the position, then he stuck on the right side, so I added a margin of 700px to go right once again, I guess that the problem is due to this.

    I have boldened which, in my view, are source code target areas and css to quickly reduce down, but everything included because I am not knowledgeable enough to know what is relevant or not, I could (and likely) wrong.

    Any other help would be greatly appreciated.

    I figured out how do. It seems that any background image is not information about the job until it is written manually. This line seems to do the trick.

    position: 200px;

  • How to get the background image to fill the browser and stay fixed in IE and Firefox?

    Basically what it says in the title. I came very close to achieve, but something comes to Moor in the html and css code...

    First of all, I use the latest version of Firefox and IE8 to test this situation.

    I used 2 sources of information to get this done: 1) http://css-tricks.com/perfect-full-page-background-image/ and ) 2 http://stackoverflow.com/questions/8958697/css3-background-size-cover-doesn ' t-make-image-co-ver-vertical

    In 1 case , the example of the called page CSS-Only Technique #1 gives the code that works almost perfectly for me, except that obviously I need to a background image, but the CSS provided ago obviously just for an image has fallen in the body of a page without taking account of any other content that may already be there. "The html code that I put on the page is simply < img class ="bg"src ="... / pictures/background_image.jpg "> "

    Of course, I used the CSS code in the example, less the last piece which is "@media screen" etc., which seems irrelevant to me. Of course by replacing the values according to the picture on my page.

    So what happened was that it worked almost as expected in both browsers (which means the image filled both browsers first as it should and also remained fixed when I zoomed in, inside or outside, in each case), except that the picture went on top of the current content that I already there precisely because there isn't a background in this 'technical '. (A note on the side of curious, is that the image didn't turn down content, I expected under normal circumstances, but he went right on top of it so she she hidden (like the z-index).)

    One thing that bothers me in this regard 'technical' is that if you click on view the demo just below the code provided, you will see on the example of work page (bottom of the forest), the image clearly works as a backdrop and the content is fortunately located on top! So I don't know if the person who provides the example was trying to deceive people or what! Or he got lazy and showed another page which did not use the exact code, he has provided. No matter.

    In any case this leaves me with only half-completed work, because I still need a background image that functions as the 'normal image' code provided.

    In 2 cases and on this page, the first example provided gives the CSS for clutter - namely the code in the html {...} part and shows also the same "normal image" code as shown in box 1. In this case however, that the person provide a suggestion, the html and the css is not really properly more Moor some css and html seems a little redundant. So this time, when I used the part "html" in the CSS code (i.e. just the bit that was no longer relevant), I had two different behaviors in each browser and neither of which was quite what I'm looking for. In IE8, initially the page seems well (background fills the page and the content is on top) but when I Zoom in or out the background also zooms in or out accordingly so is NOT fixed. In Firefox, the background image stays fixed, but because the image is initially not the height of the browser I guess the code it extends down (keeping the proportions - so the image enlarges essentially) to fill it. The fast way to get around it is probably add white space at the bottom of the image just to give it sufficient height is not extensible / resize automatically. But it would be nice to know at least how to work around this problem in the code. Overall, I would say that the result in Firefox is closest to the desired solution, but of course it is not arranged things with IE8.

    Apologies for the long description, but which should at least provide much info for anyone who might have a possible solution for me. Essentially what would be great is if someone could advise me how to take the code of case 1 and apply it to a piece of 'background' coding as the type that is contained in html {...} in Case 2 . Like I said, it is almost there, but I just can't operate atm after trying to combine different bits of code this way and that... Also, if anyone has another version of html-css that works well to achieve then please by all means of let me know! V thanks a lot in advance!

    It works in modern browsers of the CSS3 support.  But not pre - IE9.

  • Background image extends all the way to higher resolutions

    I created a web page and my client wanted a slideshow to meet throughout the site with the top scrolling content. I thought I did it correctly because it was beautiful on each monitor until I saw on higher resolution than 1080 p. When I have plenty of screen it the bottom of the picture ends and there is space. I have attached a picture.

    The website is killerspirit.net

    I was not on this subject the right way? The bottom must be static, while the content of the page scrolls on it so I made a slideshow that I extended edge of the page. I didn't know how else to do this. Any help would be appreciated.

    Screen Shot 2015-09-02 at 1.44.35 PM.png

    I found this site for example:

    Paddymazz Productions

    It would be just like that except a design of a page with the content of the scroll on the background image.

    Hi Patrick,

    Muse does not sensitive site because of which when you view the site on different dimensions, the site will make differently.

    Can you confirm the height of the slide show you have inserted in the background and can you try to increase the height and check if it solves the problem?

    Kind regards

  • Heading1 background image displayed in the topic pane, but not in the preview or output of WebHelp

    I configured my H1 style so that it has a gray background color and a background image that I've specified to display to the left and down with no recurrence. I also added a quantity of filling down so that my background image is forced to land. The effect I created looks like this:

    h1.gif

    As you can see it looks good in the topic pane, but when I saw the topic or compile the project and view the output looks like this:

    h1-preview.gif

    Can anyone help?

    Thank you

    Jonathan

    Hello

    Background-attachment is the culprit, you also had two background images specified, so I deleted the redundant style:

    H1 {}

    do-family: Arial, without serif.

    font size: large;

    margin-bottom:-9pt;

    top of the margin: 6 pt.

    padding-top: 5px;

    padding-left: 5px;

    padding-right: 5px;

    padding-bottom: 16px;

    Color: #000000;

    make-weight: normal;

    make-style: normal;

    background: url (arrow.gif) non-repetition low left.

    background-color: buttonface;

    x-next-type: P;

    }

    Just replace the H1 with the code above, and you should be all ready to go.

    Take a bow

  • onLoad javascript for images: it's the right thing to do?

    I just learned that I can increase the speed of my lightbox galleries using this javascript:

    < script type = "text/javascript" >
    If (document.images) {}
    img1 = new Image();
    img1. SRC = '... /Gallery-mural/Fantasy-Landscape.jpg ';
    img2 = new Image();
    img2. SRC = '... /Gallery-mural/marine-mural.jpg ';
    img3 = new Image();
    img3. SRC = '... /Gallery-mural/shoaling-Fishes.jpg ';
    img4 = new Image();
    img4. SRC = '... /Gallery-mural/Tangerine-Lanterns.jpg ';
    img5 = new Image();
    img5. SRC = '... /Gallery-mural/Theatre-foyer-mural.jpg ';
    img6 = new Image();
    img6. SRC = '... /Gallery-mural/yachts-and-Seagulls.jpg ';

    }
    < /script >

    What is the right way to go?

    I have 8 pages of the gallery with the same number of frames but all different of course.  Is there an easy way to combine this to all 8 pages or would it be acceptable for her pop on each page?

    Thank you

    Martin

    Basically, what you're doing are preload the images, regardless of the question of if the visitor never will select an any of them. Preloading has the advantage that the response of your lightbox will be instant. It has the disadvantage of unnecessarily slow down the loading of the page, as well as the increasing use of bandwidth. For a small number of images, it is probably worth doing. However, the images more there are, the more become disadvantages. If someone really wants to see your images, a slight delay is probably OK.

    Another approach would be to preload the first pictures of two or three and then load the following images in the background that every image is available. I don't know if there are scripts that do this out of the box, but it is certainly something that could be achieved with careful script JavaScript. And no, I have not done it myself, but it is certainly possible in theory.

  • Background image disappears when the user scroll down

    Hello

    Here is a class that paints a picture as desktop wallpaper. My problem is that if a vertical scrolling is on the screen, when scrolling down the background image does not scroll also. Is it possible to repeat the background so that it is always on the screen when the user scrolls down.

    Thank you.

    SerializableAttribute public class BaseVerticalFieldManager extends VerticalFieldManager {}

    public BaseVerticalFieldManager (long style) {}
    Super (style);
    }

    Public Sub paintBackground (Graphics graphics)
    {
    graphics.drawBitmap (0, 0, Display.getWidth (), Display.getHeight (), Constants.BACKGROUND_IMAGE, 0, 0);

    }

    }

    The values highlighted are wrong - you need to keep track of the Manager scroll position. In addition, using Display.getWidth () and Display.getHeight () isn't exactly smart - use getWidth() / getHeight() Manager itself.

    In short, the correct code would be:

        public void paintBackground( Graphics graphics)
        {
            graphics.drawBitmap(getHorizontalScroll(), getVerticalScroll(), getWidth(), getHeight(), Constants.BACKGROUND_IMAGE, 0, 0);
        }

  • My background image is not the tail between my design and web Preview Preview. Help!

    I am new to the use of Muse and have spent the afternoon going through tutorials online etc.. I understand the basics of adding an image to use as the background, but when I upload the image, it aligns completely different in design, preview and web preview screens. I've been playing with different settings, but for the life of me, I can't figure out how to make my preview and web preview looks like my design page.

    original title: background logon of windows vista I do not see this background image instead, I see a solid blue color during startup and shutdown

    I use a laptop with windows vista home basic 32-bit sp2

    After turning on the computer laptop, I get a prompt to enter the password at this point, I would usually get a background image and the same background image appeared when I stopped

    I do not see this background image instead, I see a blue solid color when you start and stop as the background image has been replaced by a blue color

    I followed all the steps of the following

    However, I don't see the background image. the background image is in the right folder location whith the required size as jpg image with the exact registry required such as mentioned in the above links entries

    How do I solve this problem

    Hello

    Did you do changes on the computer before the show?

    You can try the steps and check if you are able to see the background on the logon screen.
    a. Click Start, and then type gpedit.msc
    b. navigate to Computer Configuration and go to administrative templates and go to System.
    c. go to connection and set the "bottom always use custom logon" to activate.
    d. create a folder named C:\Windows\System32\oobe\info\backgrounds
    e. put the file you want, and then name it backgroundDefault.jpg
    f. check your other background for the dimensioning of the info files

  • I can move the position of the pixel-values (browser-filling) background image?

    I want to design a landing with Muse page. To insert a background image that fills the screen on the top and to the left and right of the browser window edges, I think the best way is to put a picture as the fill "browser" (I this translated from the German term 'Navig-deflectors', then choose suitable size ('scale Passend").

    Unfortunately, if I'm having a menu bar on top of this image, it will always hide the upper part of the image. Can I therefore change the background a little image?

    There may be several ways to achieve this goal within the Muse.

    -Use composition to create the menu, where the menu will only appear on mouse click or hover.

    -Use any image editor and add a rectangle empty start of image where menu will be rendered.

    -Apply the scroll on the Menu so that the menu only to scroll page should appear on the page.

    -Make the homepage with only the picture fill and the link to get inside the site with sub-pages, which should include a menu.

    Thank you

  • footer on the background image

    I have a site with a large different background behind each page image. I want to be stick to the bottom of the browser window, the background image going behind the footer footer.

    Muse pushes the footer below this background image.

    Suggestions?

    Jeff

    Hello, I see 2 ways to address them.

    1 use this browser fill background image and it will stay behind the footer. Second, half of the video below explains how.

    Add a picture to the background of the page or the browser. Adobe Muse CC tutorials

    2. you can also use the tab layers in muse.

    • Create a new layer in the tab layers
    • Move the new layer under the existing layer (drag / move).
    • Select the footer items and move them to the lower layer of right click > move to layer > select the bottom layer. Make sure that the footer is below the layer that contains the background image. Check more info on similar layers: Adobe Muse Help | Working with layers
