Hidden content for search engine usage

Someone knows web sites with hidden layers full text content that they do not necessarily want to on the first page, but is there so that search engines can index their site much better?

Although the article that I posted is 7 years old, the same message applies. You can hide the contents... YES. But as others have said, it's not worth the risk to have started on the search engines all together.

Keep the content focused and upfront, on obtaining relevant sites linking to your s, build a site that people will visit and come back, and you shouldn't have to use dubious methods to obtain classified.

If people have to use 'hide content' on their sites, it may be because the visible content is not very good at first.

  • How to expose application data Web for search engines

Hey guys - need direction please

My site contains a directory of companies (web app)

The web application are in a secure area (the customer wants only registered/paid members to create their business profiles) submitted customer = web app

It is also necessary that the directory is indexed by "elgooG".

When you search for a business on "elgooG" type, they want found listed company information, with a link to the actual detail

    for example: website.com\directory\Joe-blogs-plumbing

First problem, the web application element is sitting behind a login (secure)

How do you re this so that we have the Web App element safe (paying), but also visible for search engines and public?

    Very appreciated

There is no reason for the entire web application under a securezone.

Once you set the owner of the object they can only change it when they connect.

All you need to do is to have a directory to list on your site that shows these. IF you don't want that and it that under a securezone of course he will never get indexed by google.

If you want the public list of them you just need a page and put in the web application module that displays the list. Things like the link change will not appear unless your logged in.

  • SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER received for search engines

Hi, I am working on Linux Kali. While trying to open the search engines (not counting than bing) on Firefox (iceweasel) I get no secure connection, as shown on the screenshot below. While trying to access most of the other sites, I'm able to do. Please notify.

    There are two certificates:

    (1) the certificate of google.ba said that it was established by 'api-SARAJEVO-CA' that doesn't sound like a typical of a Google cert issuer.

(Used for decoding these sites: https://certlogik.com/decoder/, https://www.sslchecker.com/certdecoder)

    (2) the certificate of api-SARAJEVO-CA was also released by api-SARAJEVO-CA, which is apparently unknown to Firefox.

I couldn't find any information online, so I don't know who uses this certificate to try to simulate it on your browser, or why they intercept your searches on Google.

  • You can define names of files topic HTML5 for Search Engine Optimization?

We're out HTML5 FM 2015. FM source file is parsed in subject to pgraf Heading 1 style HTML5, then the Heading1 text becomes the name of the .htm file that results. For example, the title 1 'Tuning the sound to your room (Trueplay)"becomes Tuning_the_Sound_For_Your_Room_ (Trueplay) .htm.

If we change the title text 1, file .htm for the topic has a new name. For example, 'Tune Your Room with Trueplay' becomes Tune_Your_Room_With_Trueplay.htm.

It is a problem of referencing because now two files section may appear in the search results:

    • Old: Tuning_the_Sound_For_Your_Room_ (Trueplay) .htm
    • New: Tune_Your_Room_With_Trueplay.htm

Is there a way to separate the file name of the theme of the text in the paragraph style where the subjects are analyzed?   Or, is there a way to make the old theme file to redirect to the new theme file?

Otherwise, we must keep a list of every Heading1 where we changed the text and manually redirect the .htm file to the new .htm file.

According to FrameMaker help, this should do what you want:

    Add Page Break mark

    1. Click the header text, and then select special > Publish Options > apply Page Break marker.

    2. In the Page Break marker dialog box, enter the title of the topic. The file name is filled automatically based on the text of the title that you enter.

By example, if you enter the title of the topic as that FrameMaker publishing options, the file is named FrameMaker_Publish_options.htm.

However, you can change the file name in the file name text box.

    No experience myself.

  • An add-on to force firefox switch to the default search engine in the search bar

    Hello

I have a few search engines in the search bar of firefox. I find it extremely annoying that whenever I have change the search engine, that it stays like this, even after restarting firefox. Is there an add-on that would go to the one who is at the top of the list (which is my default for search engine being both navigation bar) whenever I restart the browser?

Let me give you an example: I use duckduckgo as a search engine by default in the search bar and navigation bar. Let's say I need to find a definition for which I use the wikipedia search engine. Then I go to wikipedia one. I disable the browser the next time I start firefox search engine that appears in the search bar is wikipedia and I would have preferred it to be duckduckgo.

    I hope that's not waves.

    see you soon,
    Omen

Easier is to put the default engine for search engine preferred via the user.js file in the Firefox profile folder by copying the line user_pref() related to this file.

The user.js file is read whenever Firefox is started and initializes the preferences to the specified value in this file, so the preferences set via user.js can be changed temporarily for the current session.

You can search the topic: config page for browser.search. to locate the pref (s) you need.

    • user_pref ("browser.search.defaultenginename", 'Google');

You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder currently in use:

    • Help > troubleshooting information > profile directory: see file (Linux: open the directory;) Mac: View in the Finder)
    • Create the folder chrome (lowercase) in the .default < xxxxxxxx > profile folder if the folder does not exist
    • Use a text editor such as Notepad to create a file user.js (new) in this folder (the names are case-sensitive)
    • Make sure that you select "All files" and not "text files" when you save the file via "save file as" in the text editor as user.js
Otherwise, Windows can add a hidden .txt file extension and you end up with one does not not user.js.txt file
  • Can not remove permanently secure choice of search engines research

Hello. I deleted all my engines except Google search. However, there is a single search called Secure. I manually delete, but if I closed and reopened FF it reappears. It shows in the search, as well as menu choices if I try to do a search, it shows at the bottom of suggestions of concordance.

I did a little research, and it is not related to moy. I am running McAfee. I also McAfee Secure Search does not, but it seems not be McAfee. I noticed this after I have updated to the latest version of FF. I don't know how to remove it permanently. Any help would be appreciated. I added two screenshots. A watch what it looks like when I do a search, and the other when I go into the options for search engines. Thank you.

It certainly isn't a search engine plugin.

You want to look for in these places and see if it is sitting there and can be deleted?

    (1) for the shared search engine plugins folder

Open C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla Firefox\browser using the start menu or Windows Explorer. Are there records related to research here? Search plugins have an .xml extension and usually show the file type "XML Document".

    (2) current folder plugins profile search engine

Try to open the settings file (AKA Firefox profile) current Firefox help

    • button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > troubleshooting information
    • (menu bar) Help > troubleshooting information
    • type or paste everything: in the address bar and press Enter

In the first table of the page, click on the view file"" button. This should launch a new window that lists the various files and folders in Windows Explorer.

Look for a folder named searchplugins and check inside for the unwanted search engine XML file. You will find there?

You should be able to create and upload a new file robtos.txt. Create a txt file and call robots. Put the content in the robots.txt file:

    User-agent: *.

    Allow: /.

    Site map: http://www.your-domian-goes-here.com/sitemap.xml

Once created, download the robots.txt file in the root of your site.

  • Can I get the Firefox search bar for not automatically, go to the site of the search engine I spend?

The Firefox search bar seems to have changed since the last update. I understand that things are changing constantly and get used to them, but I wonder if it is possible to change the rear bar to the way it was, or at least understand why it changed.

Basically, I used to be able to switch from search engines by choosing from the drop-down list, and would not put me right at the site of this search engine. He didn't actually bring me to the site once I hit the search button (or enter). It's quite annoying to have to remember to open a new tab before changing search engines in order to avoid sailing away from the tab that you are currently on, and it's also annoying that when you open a new tab and change the search engines, you are immediately taken to the site of this search engine. It feels like an extra step (ranging from 'the empty tab search engine page to search result' instead of 'empty tab to search result').

I know it sounds like a minor complaint, no doubt, but I'm really really curious to know why it was changed. More important, I want to know if there is a way to customize the way it was.

    Thanks for any help!

Many users have been raising this issue. I mentioned the same question in this post here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1086138

In summary, it seems that the Firefox team is not intend to bring back the ability to return to the old bar search, which was possible (but in a very biased way) in older versions of 42. For now, you can either:

    • Download module additional classic restaurateur theme to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/classicthemerestorer/?src=ss and then select the old search option
    • Go back to Firefox 42 and set the browser.search.showOneOffButtons property in Subject: config. However, with older versions poses a risk to the security that you won't have bug fixes provided with version 43
