  I have a form master detail. In the long form, I have the columns:
  ID, MASTER_ID_FK, PC_SOURCE, A_C1, A_C2, A_C3, B_C1, B_C2, B_C3
  
  The PC_SOURCE of the column must be a LOV with values
  NULL VALUE
  A
  B
  
  So if I choose or enter a master record the detailed form appears and I can enter one or more detail records.
  
  PC_SOURCE is the first column.
  If I choose one, the columns B_C1, B_C2, B_C3 should disappear as there should be no possible entry.
  If I have B, A_C1, A_C3, A_C2 columsn should disappear as there should be no possible entry.
  
  Is this possible?
  
  I tried a bit of my own, but without success. I tried to put in the first column (lov SOURCE PC) in the attributes of the element a javascript call like onChange = "do_Refresh('#PC_SOURCE#'); »
  
  The javascript funktion do_Refresh tries to grab the value of the column and the value of a hidden item P1_SOURCE as document.getElementById('P1_SOURCE').value = v_source;
  
  But this does not work, because there is not the value of the recovered column.
  And probably can´t work because of more lines of a detail.

  The html code of your detailed form will be an array of the elements of entry with names f01, f02, etc.. The columns of the key of the fields are normally hidden, so your PC_SOURCE column will probably use the name f03. A_C1 column name will be f04 etc.

  Once you have the input names for your columns, you can create a dynamic action (DA) to hide the items you want.

  You want the DA to fire when any element PC_SOURCE is changed if you want when to be:
  Event: change
  Selection type: jQuery Selector
  jQuery Selector: input [name = "f03"]
  Condition: no strings attached

  The action is to hide an element in the same line, if the changed item is a value. The action must therefore:
  Action: Run the JavaScript Code
  Fires when the event is: true
  Code: if(this.triggeringElement.value=="A") {$x_Hide ('f04_' + this.triggeringElement.id.split ('_') [1])}

  You then need a lot of real actions for each item that you want to hide.

• The hide/show button with the AJAX selection list

  I have the button named "QUERY" and AJAX list selection page #2 'ID'. When my selection list value is 100, I would like to display the button, otherwise hide the button. I checked the session values are defined correctly for the selection list when I change the value, but the following code in one of the messages in the forum does not work. is it different for elements of AJAX?

• How to set the initial state to hide/show buttons on opening PDF files?

  InDesign offering a wonderful object multi-state capacity which unfortunately does not work in PDF files. It took a bit of research for me to come with this information, the UI program itself gives indications that this should work. (Why not maybe another forum of discussion.)

  So, I create an interactive PDF using buttons to hide/show specific paragraphs (which are also implemented as buttons because only the buttons and forms can be hidden or shown, AFAIK).

  I've set up a PDF created via InDesign using the six control keys and seven paragraphs - one of these paragraphs is the initial state that I want to see when the document is opened. As long as the PDF file that I create is distributed, that's how it works: an initial paragraph appears, buttons can be clicked and the stuff of Heroes appears the mark.

  However, a colleague thoughtfully saved the PDF file (so it could rename something more to his liking). When he does this, he left one of the displayed subsidiary paragraphs, rather than the initial paragraph I intended... and of course, this is the version that came out to the customer.

  Question: Is there a way to set the initial state to hide/show buttons when a PDF document is opened first, regardless of the State in which he could let or saved? I guess it's sort of ON OPEN event that would allow me to define an initial state as a safety net to the way I save the original document. Obviously, the PDF AS I DELIVER IT will pave the way, I want it, but I'm trying to overcome the appearance of the Murphy's law of a document that can be re-recorded in another State. An event which OPENED on that cure.

  in this case you would have been better if you had locked the PDF file in order to prevent changes ANDS record as actions...

  I want to add option buttons to the form.

  I wrote the following code:

  When I run this, I get uncaughException.

  I am doing wrong?

  Hi, I had the same problem, and because the design is very important to me, I solve it by cheating a bit :)

  I have a form button with no fill style, no color, no text for all States.

  I have inserted my button in the form (I put size and rounded corners in the same way that the button on the form ).

  The only problem is, that the State of your button does not work / because it's under another layer.

  But that I realize, that I can set for original form button rollover State / with an opacity of 10%, it will be possible to see my button below, just the color changes and it now works together :)

  I know that's not technically correct, but it works... for the design

  Modify your report and click the report attributes. On the right under 'Tasks' is "Add the link in the column" - click that. This creates a new column. Scroll down to the links section of this new column and add in the following:

  Link text: Add article
  Target: Page in the present application
  Page: (enter the number of the form page)
  Clear the Cache: (enter the number of the form page)
  Point 1 (name): (enter or select the name of the element of the form for the primary key page - for example, P2_ORDER_ID)
  Point 1 (value): (enter or select #ORDER_ID #-which should be the ORDER_ID column on the table for the report)

  Click on apply changes to save and run the report

  This creates a normal hyperlink in the column - each line will have a different value of ORDER_ID, so every link will be slightly different. If you want to make the link look like a button, you can do it with style if necessary

  Hi, I created a process and after the kickoff of the process, affected user can approve/reject the form in the workspace. Can I detect which button is pressed in the form and perform a different validation before the form is sent to the server?

  For example, the form had to field & field B, if you press the button approve, to field will be a field of manadated and if rejection touches, field B will be a field of manadated. As in my form, I only got a "submit" button and the approve/reject button is generated from the workspace, so I do not know how to detect which button is pressed in the form? Thank you.

  I use JS to display or hide fields, based on the values of other fields, cela in a tabular presentation. So it is used as a work-around as dynamic actions are not able to do out of the box on tabular forms (that I know of).

  Set up the STATIC ID for all regions with the exception of the first region.

  For example:

  REGIONTHREE
  REGIONFOUR
  REGION 5

  Then go to the properties of the Page to the section head and footer. In the footer section, add the following:

  I would like to create a Web site "banner" application in flash using action script to show or hide different video clips based on a start and end date.

  Initially, I have to manually download the new banners to a Web site, one at a time. But if I had a file that can contain several banners, I could turn them on and off the base what day it was. Is there a way to do this with action script?

  I also want to create a few small buttons to scroll through the banners that are "published".

  Let me know if it sounds possible, and we'll go from there.

  If you want to use the date of the operating system of the user, you can do it by using only actionscript.  but it will not be accurate in a certain number of users.

  If you use the script server-side, you can use the date/time of the server.  It is more accurate but needs more actionscript.
