  Wolfgang is correct. You can't have a control that is on the same panel as a tab control overlap the tab control. It may overlap with the area that corresponds to the line of tabs, but he can't overlay the main body of the tab control. As Wolfgang has pointed out, it is because a tab control is simply a set of panels of the child and the panels of the child cannot be superimposed by other controls in the parent panel.

  Your problem is with the Panel.Controls [] property. It does not return the controls that are inside containers (tables, tabs, groups) and returns only the container itself. As illustrated by Sam, if you want the references to the controls in the tab, you must get the references to the pages and get the controls on each page and add them to your original table and do this recursively.

  You can either write a VI to do this (or search for it. There was posted here screw that analyzes recursively the FP for all control references) or everything just statically for this control a tab and move. There is also a VI delivered with LV that can help you with this, but I suggest that you not use, because it will be difficult to operate if you generate an EXE file.

  And I also recommend the Tool of Capture of Code.

• Windows backup - Some Confusion over the Date of backup

  I have back up once a week on Removable Drive L:

  When we look at control panel > backup and restore, I see that my last backup was on January 3, 2011, as planned.  I also see that three files have not been saved because backup Windows could not find them.  No problem.

  When I look at the Drive: Explorer > computer > l: However, I don't see that the folder that contains the backup is dated 12/26/2010 under "update."  I remember correctly, is that it is all the time that I turned on my backup to a C: partition on my removable disk L:, probably create this folder on the first backup on removable disk L:

  As time passes, the backup on L: folder should not reflect the date of the last backup?  How can I know that the backup works (see other than the correct data in the control panel > Backup and Restore)?

  Here are the results: right click on the inf file: containing the backup (the file displays the "Save" icon), then the properties > Previous Versions shows no available versions.  Properties > general tab shows the typical parameters of a file; e.g., size of 0 bytes, date of creation, etc.

  Because it is a folder, there are no properties > Details tab.

  Dating back to the control panel > Backup and Restore > manage space, I see that two backups are stored in the inf file: Reader corresponsding for scheduled backups performed two since I have configured backup for this drive.  Everything seems normal.

  On further reflection, it seems that Windows 7 works normally, because the "Date Modified" column in Explorer mode don't not one) that reflects the changes made to existing files in a folder root or additons b) new files/folders in a folder root were made; rather the 'modified date' refers only to the changes that could be made to the properties of the folder root after its creation that is, in terms of sharing, security, etc.

  Since Windows 7, at least, you have no control over the name of the backup that is created and used for the backup folder, and there is (apparently) no exception to the general rule of Windows about how the "Date Modified" column is - at least in the case of backups - it seems that a user is more or less in "trust me". , rely solely on the information available in the control panel > restore and backup to determne if the backup does not work (other than to do a restore of your time immediately after the backup, not a good idea).

  I guess that the preschoolers old like me just feel more comfortable using the Explorer to display the properties for the actual backup file and see the date of creation.

  Maybe a suggestion that might be implemented in next SP?

  The user is an administrator of the workspace: No.

  These authorisation schemes created by the access control wizard do not use status of developer/workspace user accounts. Must add user names in the apex_access_control table and assign the desired privilege to every user.

• No control over sound

  With the help of a Sony TV with the latest version of the Apple Tv software.  Installed a bar of his Sony and now I don't have control over the sound in front of the Apple TV.     I can reset the sound (low), but it is just slowly up to maximum volume.  Using the Apple Remote or my normal remote control.  Can I change the audio settings Apple TV?  Grateful for the assistance.

  Hello

  There is no simple way to do it. But depending on what you want to do, you can try one of the following conditions:

  • Create a new Firefox profile for hidden bookmarks. Only enter this profile when you want to see them. See here for instructions.
  • Create a separate password on your PC user account and not save to it, when you want to display hidden bookmarks
  • Use a portable version of Firefox and install it on a USB key. Then run it on the USB when you want to access the hidden bookmarks. You can even encrypt the USB for extra protection. See here.
  • Use a bookmarking service online for example del.icio.us for hidden bookmarks. They will appear with your standard bookmarks.

• C7280 - cannot scan. Error message indicates another program has control over the device

  I open the HP Device Manager to do a scan. I accepted the parameters and the scanning started. • No control over printing

  I have a HP Deskjet F340 all-in-one, connected to an Imac running Mac OS x 10.6.8.  I just upgraded to this operating system. I downloaded and installed the latest HP soft ware, but had reset the printer to operate.  Now it prints like crazy, but when I click Print on the file menu, I get a box that allows me to PRINT, CANCEL, or SCHEDULED.  I have no control over the number of copies, or the pages I want to print from the file.  I used to get a menu that allowed me to make these choices, but since updates, I can't find it anywhere. Any help would be appreciated.

  In the print window, click the arrow next to the name of the printer to make it point upwards.

There is no change to the histogram (you can tell by the movement) or in the sample of the above image sharpening.  Changes to the chromatic aberration and noise reduction also no impact.  It depends on the camera, RAW files or what?  This isn't a complaint.  I'm just curious to know if my experience is universal (which I doubt because why would be Lightroom have orders) or the result of my camera, lens, the camera setting or choice of material.

  I'm trying to get a digital control with a suitable addition to the order of magnitude.

  For example, I have a front panel for an osziloscope, sometimes that samples on some ns, sometimes a few seconds, sometimes a few milivolts, sometimes a few volts, who knows, right
  I was playing around with the digital control units, but it doesn't quite fit my needs. I can't change the prefix of a unit on the duration, for example of microseconds to seconds, but then I change the issue as well, because on change the prefix, the previous number is only multiplied by the factor according to, for example, 1000, so 5 became US 5th-6s. So change the record length of the default value of 500 ms to 100 ns would require two klicks type, and I can instead just type "100th-9', which is good too."

  However, I would like to have a digital control from 0 to 1000 combined with for example a button for prefix i.e. nano, micro, mili etc. and combine this values internally, i.e. of mulitplying accordingly. But I couldn't set the increment to "3 orders of magnitude" even with the option to log scale.

  I know, I could use an enum with the names and values according to, but this is not very satisfactory.

  So perhaps the question would be: is it possible to combine two digital controls or the value for the prefix, in a suitable and easy way? Or how do you manage the digital values over several orders of magnitude in a case like mine?

  Take a look at the image as an attachment: in the configuration of the station, some areas, such as ProberPort to connect automatically, but others, like WetTestHardwareDAQID_1, do not connect.  If you look at the settings, you will see that the two containers (container TestStand and the cluster of VI output) are similar.  So, why the? .

  You get the message as a mapping between elements of cluster and the subproperties of the parameter is not found.  To check this, go to the definition of the type of the variable StationConfiguration.  In the type definition, right-click and select properties from the context menu.  Select the Cluster tab by the way.  In the drop-down list box, select the WetTestHardwareDAQID_1 and see what is the value of the control 'Cluster Label element.  If it is empty, then there are no specified mapping.  Do the same for WetTestHardwareDAQID_2.  To add a mapping, simply enter the element of cluster label that you want to map the property.

  A possible reason for the 'Cluster Label élément' control is empty, it is that someone has made a change to type on these subproperties.  Note that the type column has a button to change the type of the subproperties.  If you click on the button and select a new type, the cluster by the way the information is lost.  It's something we know and will be fixed in a future version of TestStand.
