Hide the area of a form outside the area another form?

I use Photoshop CS2 and I want to make sure if I have 2 forms of different fill, mask the area of a shape that is not within the area of the other shape. I made an example to try and make sense-I realize, it's probably quite a basic question, but I can't for the life of understand me! Would be very grateful if someone could explain step by step how to do this, thanks!

You can use a feature called a clipping mask. In your case, you will place the Red shape on the top layer and the black shape on the bottom layer. Then hold down the ALT key and the cursor in the layers palette between the upper and lower layers. When you see the hand icon change a circle icon double click of your mouse.  This will show the pixels of the layer to the top only where the pixels of the layer below exist.  Thus, the lower layer wants to be your black rectangle surrounded by transparent pixels.

  • You cannot hide the instance of forms

    Hi guys,.

    I was wondering if you had faced this scenario before.

    1. I have 3 forms, form_a.fmb, form_b.fmb and menu.fmb.
    2 menu.fmb has two buttons, which opens form_a and form_b respectively using open_form.
    3 form_a has window1
    4 form_b has window1
    5. when form_b loads, I want to hide form_a.

    Is there a way to do this on form 10g? That's what I did:

    1. the form_a WNFI, I get the ID of the window by using find_window and assign the window.id to a global variable.
    2. the form_b WNFI, I tried to do a find_window using the window.id that I have on my global variable.
    3. then use set property window or hide_window.

    This doesn't seem to work. Is there a work around that? or maybe CCP.

    Thank you

    You cannot hide a form, but you can move the window to a position where it cannot be seen (a position outside the size of the screen). You could do so that the use of FIND_FORM to find the cases form GO_FORM to activate it, a TIME-WINDOW-ACTIVATED-trigger to move the position with a COMPREHENSIVE, which indicates that the activation is performed to 'hide' the window.

    Hello, I have a 4-page form that I have pages hidden until a selection is made on page 1 of 2-4.

    My question is, is there a way to hide the 1st page once the selection is made which shows other pages in the form?

    When I try to hide the 1st page, it shows a blank page to use: MainPage.presence = "invisible";

    Y at - it a code that completely removes the 1st page and blank not only outside?

    Thanks in advance for any idea!

    You must use the presence 'hidden' to exclude from the layout. Note You cannot hide all pages.

  • Hide the form of parameter

    Hello

    We organize reports in Viewer 10.1.2.48.18 URL in the portal.
    It works fine, but sometimes the form of parameter in the viewer isn't really necessary (even "wanted").

    The report has parameters but the user has already made selections in the portal and the LOVs are not very useful in the observer.

    Y at - it a setting I can add or changes to the map, I can do, to hide the form parameter?

    Hi Tomas
    The reason for which you had no response, is that the answer is no, there is no way to remove the shape parameter I'm afraid.

    Sorry about that

  • Safari and Firefox needs ways to hide the tab bar, bar Favorites (bookmarks), so that they are not visible to others your screen, or on the full screen captures.

    Safari and Firefox needs ways to enable/disable/hide (the menu and via shortcuts) tabs, Favorites (bookmarks) bar, (and bar address [which do not have Safari]), so that they are visible to a person who you show your screen not visible on just one full screen. Yes, you can expose a screenshot that excludes one or more of these bars, but it is a nuisance to have to do, and in any case, that still leaves the problem of the bars being visible to other people who show you your screen.

  • [ADF, JDev12.1.3] How to hide the asterisk for required fields in an af:form?

    Hallo,

    I would like to not display the asterisk in front of the label of the fields...

    ... so I set for all areas of the ShowRequired property to false.

    I do not understand why the asterisk continues to display...

    I have to set another property somewhere?

    Thank you

    Federico

    Check the documentation for the showRequired property (jdev or online: ADF RichClient API - ).

    As a workaround, you can put af:inputText in af:panelLabelAndMessage component and set simple = "true" to hide the label.

  • Need to hide the form on Page load and display it on a particular condition only

    I am new to Oracle Apex.

    I need to create a basic application when the user is looking for a particular table (only one field of research) and if the documents exist they would be displayed in a grid format. (This section I managed to do)

    If the search returns no results, I need to display a form to add new records to the table.

    Now, I have created a form (create a new record) on the same page as the search, but I am unable to hide the shape on the loading of the page and only show it in the case where the results of research show "NO data found".

    I made changes to the page. Please check and let me know.

    Thank you

    Help!  I'm stuck.  No, not the child into the well.  I took a picture and put a second layer top with a rounded rectangle to make a frame.  My problem is that I need to find a way to hide the small box outside the box on the second layer.  Thanks to all those who can help you.

    Another option is to put the Options bar of the Rectangle rounded to the path tool

    Trash bolt for the background layer, hold down the Cmd key and click on the symbol of the new layer to layer below the image to white. Then edit > fill with white.

    Return the image layer and draw the image as a path

    Click the load as a selection path in the Panel traced

    Edit > stroke and stroke with color

  • Hide the caption only when the content of the field is empty for an Adobe form field

    Hi all

    We try to hide only the caption of a field if the content of the field is empty.

    (a) the following code allows you to hide all cru (the entire field including the legend). What we should change the code to hide the legend?

    -------------------------------------------------------

    If (this.) RawValue is nothing)

    {

    This.Presence = "hidden".

    }

    -------------------------------------------------------

    (b) another option would be to use the conditional formatting-> change of text in the caption to the text color white, if the content of the field is empty to make it invisible on print.

    Are there options available ALD or code that must be used to achieve one of the options above?

    Thank you in advance!

    Kind regards

    Roy

    Modify the script to:

    If (this.) RawValue is nothing)

    {

    xfa.resolveNode("this.caption.value.#text").value = "";

    }

    You don't give enough details to understand the problem. A proposal, however, you use a fluid grid layout. For the icons to display, the element must have class = "liquid" in the opening tag.

  • Where to hide the color in form fields in Acrobat DC?

    Where to hide the blue color in form fields in Acrobat DC?

    Hello Jeady,

    JavaScript of George's suggestion is a good answer.

    You can also turn on form field highlighting by a menu item as you can via the button in the blue bar in Acrobat XI.

    In Acrobat DC, follow these steps:

    1. open your form.

    2. Select the tool form prepare .

    3. in the shape tools to prepare the right pane, click the drop down menu to more.

    4. on the menu " more ", select 'Highlight the existing fields' to toggle the setting.

    The sticks of setting up this that changed for all forms open in Acrobat.

  • Hide the button until all Conditions are met?

    Please help!  I am creating a forklift safety training module. There are 12 buttons on the first slide (see screenshot 1); However, only 11 are visible at the beginning of the slide.  The 12th button is a "continue" button that appears only after all the content slides (slides 2-12) were considered by the learner.  I used a conditional action to hide the button (something I learned from @Lilybiri) until all the conditions are met.

    The problem:

    The "Continue" button does not always appear once the content slides have been read.  I found I can do appear to ebb in each slide content, show the slides a few seconds more before returning to the main slide- which seems certain conditions which tells Captivate to display the button "continue".  Of course, I don't want the learners to face to the challenge of trying to understand why they cannot continue. I just want to visit the pages relating to each key to all conditions met.

    Screenshot 1: the initial screen (actions related to the change of color of button below)

    forklift_screenshot1.jpg

    Screenshot 2: chronology of the page main interaction

    forklift_screenshot2.png

    Screenshot 3: conditional Action to display the button CONTINUE (created as a decision 2nd out of action of 'Transport').

    My expectation was that OnEnter, slide would be recognized as read and count for the condition that all 11 pages of content would be considered before that appear the continue"" button.  I set the time to s 3.0 (see screenshot above) on all content slides.  No transition, no effect.

    forklift_screenshot3.png

    Screenshot 4: each slide content is returned to the slide main interactivity by an OnSuccess: jump to the command of the slide.  Nothing special here.  I tried to reduce all the content slides to 1.5 s nothing works.

    forklift_screenshot4.png

    Screenshot 5: an example of the page interaction BEFORE all the content slides were read and before 'CONTINUE' button appears (ignore the footer buttons; it was just me to experiment with styles of button).

    That's a lot, I know.  I wanted to cover the entire base.  I would appreciate your thoughts and your expertise.  Thank you in advance!

    How about what is probably very close to what you have already made... (After double checking all of your shares advanced for bugs)

    Each main menu button sets the variable 'consulted' 1, hides the active button, show visited button, then jump to the content. Alternatively, you can put the action on the close button for each slide as you did.

    Then in your main menu, you will have the conditional action on enter that verifies that each variable 'seen' is 1. If it is true, then it will show your button continue.

    I use this method with almost all of the modules that are non-linear. I use it to display a button quiz start, tab summary etc...

    To check your programming that I'm down in a text caption that has all the variables, you will have to look and make sure that they change to 1 as it should. As soon as something does not change probably you have found your problem. Also make sure that none of your actions changed to continue if you have accidentally deleted an object or something similar.

    Also BTW: If you want to increment a variable, you use the action "expression" rather than "assignment." If you keep just assign 1 to a variable, all that you will ever get is 1. example: If the variable = 7 and you assign 1 then now variable = 1.  If you use the variable expression variable = + 1 then you will be able to increment. Also be careful if a user visits an article more than once because it increments the new variable unless you have a control to see if the content has been seen before, and then past increment. Otherwise they could visit the same section 11 times and then have the button continue become visible.

  • How could hide several areas of text caption on multiple slides at the same time?

    I have a simulation of flash card whereupon entering the slide, you see a text box. When you click a button, the detailed answer is given below.

    I initially put in place of the slides so that the first text box is visible and the second one (the answer) is invisible, with press button giving a command to "show" the second hidden text box.

    The problem is that if a user starts again from the beginning, the responses are already showing.

    I want the slides of "reset" from the beginning so that they behave in the same way they did the first time.

    I tried the following:

    1. in the title of the 'Actions' dialog for the slide, I changed the action appropriate 'input' to hide the text box. The problem is that it sometimes takes a while to do, and you can see the answer for the blink of an eye. Not good.

    2. then, I tried an advanced action that set all the slides to hide the text box, but it only worked to the one being programmed.

    I am using Captivate v5.5.

    Any ideas or tips to solve this problem?

    Thank you!!!

    Two ideas:

    • Place a box of highest point on the upper guide layer so that it covers the areas of text for the first second or so of the slide, and then use your advanced Actions.  This means that the initial presence of flash boxes does not see because sometimes located under the highlight box.
    • Postpone your text boxes by half a second or more on the timeline.  Then during the advanced Actions work that should be hidden, the object has not yet appeared. Again not Flash.
  • Is it possible to hide the yellow box that appears when you scroll over any object on the form?

    Is it possible to hide the yellow box that appears when you scroll over any object on the form? This box contains the name of the element or the legend.

    This one can be deleted in the Accessibility tab (press SHIFT - F6).  There is an option "Screen Reader priority", he set to None.
