Hide the second boxing until I need

I am very appreciative of all the help that I received so far. Toad hall has been very helpful and explained how I could hide the second to box when you compose a message. I know now how to do it, but I can keep it hidden until I read to send copies to other people? Or what I need to do it manually on every email that I send?

Thank you.

It is in the registry of Thunderbird, but Thunderbird has a UI for it. Go to tools-> Options-> advanced-> general, and then click the Config Editor button on the lower right. Click on "I'll be careful, I promise!" on the warranty page (this seems worse than it is) and filter on mail.compose.addresswidget.numRowsShownDefault.

Here you can change the value to 1 (default is 3).

    Another option is to put the Options bar of the Rectangle rounded to the path tool

    Trash bolt for the background layer, hold down the Cmd key and click on the symbol of the new layer to layer below the image to white. Then edit > fill with white.

    Return the image layer and draw the image as a path

    Click the load as a selection path in the Panel traced

  • How to hide the password box fields if the client is connected

    Hey people!

    I have a site that I tried my best to make it work well, recently the test myself, I realized how annoying is having to type your password again when you've already connected, and you need to buy something else.

    So what I thought essentially to do is hide the fields of password since the start of the page without messing with my currently jQuery Validation on the page.

    Help is very much appreciated.

    Hello

    You can do this with js/jquery, but you will need to work by default validation of British Colombia script. Tutorials

    Or if you have cash you select can detect the connected with globals.user.isLoggedIn and hide/show password field if necessary.

    Drinking in both cases, you will have to work the js validation by default.

    It will be useful.

  • Show / hide the text box drop-down list database

    Hi all

    First time post here - wahoo!  :-)  Brand new user of LiveCycle, and so far I'm loving - very cool app!  I am a bit puzzled, however, and hoping someone can help...

    I am using LiveCycle version 8.05 and try to build a form that has a drop-down list with departments in our Organization.  If the user selects the elements 1-5 on my list, I want two other fields at autopopulated (one for the Admin Assistant) and one for Dept Head.  If however the user selects 'Other', I want a text box (it will be hidden the rest of the time) where the person will be able to type in the Department they work for.  For now, I'm only interested on getting the box 'Other' to appear; I'll worry about the other stuff later.

    Elsewhere in my form, I have a functioning drop-down list that displays a text based on the selection field; However, for some reason this logic does not work with the situation described above.

    My code for the working text field is (in JavaScript)

    var

    (sNewSel)
    case "1":
    switch
    {

         TextField6.rawValue = "My text is in here";
    break;
    case "2":

    = "My second text is in here ";

    break;
    "3":

    case

    = "My third text is in here.";
    break;
    TextField6.rawValue

    default:
    }
    break;

    TextField6.rawValue

    sNewSel = this.boundItem(xfa.event.newText);

    After many fruitless hours yesterday, I got only to the extent where the code below; This was more or less copied right out of a post here.  When I click on the drop-down list, select 'Other', the text field is displayed.  I tried the definition of the text field to the times 'Hidden' and 'Visible' through properties of the object, but no luck.  I tried to use IF statements, subforms and anything else I could think of but am getting nowhere.

    var nSubLength = Subform1.nodes.length;
    var
    sSelectField
    for

    {if
    {switch (xfa.event.newText)
    (case "6":
    Subform1.nodes.item(nCount).presence
    break
    default:
    Subform1.nodes.item(nCount).presence
    break
    }
    }
    }
    ;
    = "invisible";;= "visible";((Subform1.nodes.item(nCount).className ==
    "field") &(Subform1.nodes.item(nCount).name== sSelectField))
    (var nCount = 0;
    nCount < nSubLength;
    nCount++) sSelectField = fieldList.rawValue;
    = sSelectField.replace(' ', '');

    Any ideas?  This is very new to me, but I am familiar with other programming languages, and something this simple should not be difficult which leads me to think I'm missing something.

    Thanks in advance

    Chris

    It was easier to create a sample for you... Please see the attachment.  I think that's what you want.

  • Reset button hides the picture box

    I have a dynamic form where users can import jpg images in the form.  This works very well, but when they reset the form, the image area reduced, and users cannot reuse the box without leaving the program or returning.  In fact, my users are going to create a flowchart in Paint or Word, save the image in jpg format and place it in the form.  They will use Adobe Reader, it seems that the field must be a field of the image.  Is there a way I can do the field returned to her starting size and position?  A copy of the form is attached.

  • "On Mac, I want to return to the dialog box asking"Hide Photoshop or hide"Extra"

    Hi, Merry Christmas

    I got a dialog box when I press Cmd-H, and I decided that to hide Extra.

    I want to see the dialog box again, and it's only for the first time.

    I have reset my keyboard shortcuts and based on dialog boxes reset all the warning in the preference menu, but it does not seem

    To be precise, I ask not how to change his behavior when I press H command.

    I know how to change int menu keyboard shortcuts.

    I just want to see the dialog box again.

    Thanks in advance

    I think that you need to reset the preferences of cc of photoshop by pressing the Shift + Cmd + Option, then start photoshop cc, hold down the keys until the

    you see the dialog box asking if you want to delete the file from photoshop settings and press Yes.

    Then you should see this dialog box after pressing Cmd + M, but only once you see the dialog box until that reset you the preferences of photoshop cc again.

  • Cannot hide the box on T3

    After the hard reset and restoring my T3, on the program of a 3rd party, I can't hide the input box. Warm reboot has not solved the problem. These programs use to have the opportunity to appear on the large display.

    Remove and reinstall the programs did not help. If palm OS on my handheld has been corrupted any idea if there is a way to fix it, I have v. 5.2.1

    Hello Gore99 and welcome to the forums of Palm.

    It has been long since I have used my Tungsten T3, but you are having problems with the DIA it's because you are missing, I think, 2 support files.  Check the Web site of the third-party developer for your software and you should be able to download them.

  • Hide the next button

    I know that people have posted answers to this question already, but I'm being really dim and do not understand them. I have a slide with 5 zones of reversal on this issue and I want users to have to ride on these before to move to the next slide so I want to hide the next button until what they looked at everything.   I had a look at the other threads and other sites on the net that explain this, but I've never used before advanced Actions and use only Captivate for about 6 weeks (this is the Captivate 5).  I tried to follow the instructions but I can't get it to work and to be honest I don't understand what I'm trying to do.

    Is anyone able to explain it really, really simply.  (Assume that I don't know, because I have probably not!)

    OK, so will try to give you a little help.

    • Create five text captions, label something as TC_1 TC_2, TC_3, TC_4, TC_5 and uncheck the visibility in the properties panel for the legends
    • Create five 'points' there are click on: either create you them as buttons (image buttons), or as boxes by clicking on an image, it is up to you. But do not forget to describe the interactive object (the click box or button) in the same way the legends of text. Example for click boxes: CB_1, CB_2, CB_3, CB_4, CB_5. This will make them easy to recognize who is related to what wording in advanced actions
    • Create the following button and uncheck its visibility in the properties panel. I would like to label it Bt_Next
    • Create a variable user v_counter; you can give an initial value of 0, but it is not really necessary, because it is the default

    Now the advanced actions, which is the most difficult part, because you need a conditional action proceeds by a standard action, which is a little confusing to reach. If you want more explanation, take a look at my article

    http://kb2.Adobe.com/community/publishing/862/cpsid_86254.html

    You need a tip for each area of click action, but you can duplicate and edit the first tip action I am describing now. I have it tagged the CB_1_ac to make it clear that it is triggered by some CB_1; this action will have 2 Decisions: first, she tagged ShowTC is a simulated standard measure that will display the text of the legend (or the image, I forgot to ask what you show), disables the present click box and increments the counter; the second, entitled CounterCheck is a real disease that checks the value of the counter and if it reaches 5 will show the next button; you use only the first page for each decision, not the ELSE part:

    This action must be repeated 4 times for stocks CB_2_ac... CB_5_ac. You need to change only the part of the Actions of the decision ShowTC to change TC_1 and CB_1 to TC_2... CB_2 etc.

    Then attach these actions to their click box, as success in the properties panel. Try it... I created this sample and it works very well.

  • Subvi behaves like the dialog box

    Hello LV'ers.

    I have a problem in my program of LV: 'I need my Subvi to behave like a dialog box.

    Design: if I call this Subvi (through the server VI - FPopen of the property node), my mainVI should NOT be controlled until the end of the Subvi. I think it's the same based on the dialog box, once the dialog box appears, we need to deal with first before you can make the controls of our main VI.

    my current status: I have two while loops, running in parallel: 1st loop for tracking data, 2nd loop of the menu setting. the Subvi that opens has been in the 2nd loop - it appears when I pushed the button (event structure/VIserver). now, once I called this Subvi, I can still click and control my mainVI that should not happen!

    I think it's quite possible, I don't know how. Anyone who knew this feature?

    Kind regards

    Properties of Sub - vi, the appearance of windows, click on Dialig.

  • Script for the mandatory boxes

    Recently I've been editing a PDF file with checkboxes for the steps in a process. Basically, these just will be used when going through the process to check off each step individual as long as the user goes along. There was a high requirement to prevent the checkboxes of the audit until the previous one has been checked. So box 2 cannot be controlled until the box 1 have been verified, and 3 cannot be controlled until 2 is checked etc.

    Does anyone could offer some advice on a script for this? My knowledge of scripting languages is quite limited, so any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

    Thanks for all the help.

    I finally managed to find a piece of code that shows the next box hidden but also hide the check box, so that from before is not checked. Here's the code I used just in case anyone is interested.

    var nHide = event.target.isBoxChecked (0)? display.visable:display.hidden;

    this.getField("Check_Box2").display = nHide;

    Once again thanks for the help.
