  I assume that you want to hide the dimensions that appear at the top of the report?

  1 Select the grid, then in the pane grid Properies, select grid POV, this will display the dimensions in the upper part of the grid.
  2. click on the dimension that you want to hide, and then select a member, chaning from the Point of view of the users for the entity (the sample size)
  3. you can do any size only once, and then click OK.
  4. the dimension must be disapearred from the POV of report, above the rule.
  5. deselect the button grid POV to delete the report.

  6. now to save!

  We met with the POV copy problem after upgrade to the 2010 version of MS Office.
  
  Users claim that in Excel 2003 when the worksheet has been copied again POV settings have been copied too.
  Now in Excel 2010 when the worksheet is copied POV settings are erased.
  
  Does anyone know a solution to this problem?

  Hyperion 931 is not compatible with Office 2010.

  I hope someone can help me as to how I can freeze more than just the top on an Excel worksheet row in Microsoft vs 2010.  The options seem to be very limited and I'm not finding how to create or expand the options.

• Windows 7 - Excel 2010 - unable to connect to the OLAP Cubes SQL 2000

  Running 32-bit Windows 7 - Excel 2010 - unable to connect to SQL 2000 of the GreatPlains OLAP Cubes - message Getting connection refused actively.

  It works with XP and even load Excel 2010.  I can't find what I need to change in win 7.  I guess that's the firewall or driver settings.  I completely disabled the firewall and still no luck.  I also took the file to connect to the XP machine and tried to use it as an existing connection and still have the error.  I ran Excel on the Win 7 XP SP2, XP SP3 and still no luck.  I have spent hours reading and researching the issue and can not find an answer.
  I tried to change the OLAP service account and open all ports on the server.  Still nothing.  The error message will connect to the client computer and the server does not record demand, so I think that I don't yet get on the server.  I do not understand as well as if the message is actively refusing connection.
  I can run the cubes very well on the server and on the XP SP3 with Excel 2010 machine.
  I'm in my troubleshooting garnis.  There has been some problems, that I have not been able to solve in Microsoft Servers and this is one.  I know that there is an answer.  I'm just not see it.

  "Hyperion" of my user Smartview 11.1.2 tab disappeared from his Excel 2010. Trust Center shows that the add-in is not disabled. We reinstalled and installed SV, but nothing has worked. That we can run to register his Excel 2007 SV? There his Excel 2010 Smartview Add-in to HsTbar, Hsaddin.dll

  If the add-in does not appear in the list of people with a disability,

  1. copy the HsAddIn.dll, the HsSpread.dll, the HyperionSmartTag.dll and the HsTbar.xla of the bin Path: \Hyperion\SmartView\bin

  2. paste these files in the folder AddIns Path: C:\Documents and Settings\change
  Note: You must create an AddIns folder for this user.

  3. start > run > cmd > regsvr32/u % Home%\SmartView\bin\HsAddIn.dll Hyperion unregistered (run for each of the *.dll files forever where they are)

  4. start > run > cmd > regsvr32 "C:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\Microsoft\AddInsHsAddIn.dll' to register (run for each of the *.dll files)

  Note: You should have admin access to the machine in order to register the dll files.

• SmartView adhoc doesn't seem to work for the planning forms in Excel

  My smartview 11.1.1.3 on my PC is unable to make free form properly on planning applications (using the current provider). However, I am able to use the common provider of the connection manager to do the query of the free form of the Essbase cubes that are repositories of planning apps
  
  Technical support told me that to do the 'Ad hoc' if analysis intend, I have to shoot first a form of planning in Excel using Smartview. I noticed that in Excel-> menu of Hyperion, the "Ad Hoc" option is not available unless I shoot in a form of planning, technical support seems to be just. However, after that I downloaded a form of planning, I am unable to zoom in or a member parent in this form - in fact it nothing happens when I select Hyperion-> Ad Hoc analysis-> Zoom in. also the function "keep only" is grayed out. Then I remove this sheet and removed a few rows of members in the form; However, when I updated the modified sheet, any form of web Planning will be downloaded again and return to the "protected mode".   Hello

  It is the way I did in the past.
  Disconnect from the service provider in excellent.
  Connect to the planning application, change the form you want to use the ad-hoc analysis, in 'Other Options' > tick 'Enable smart slice', save.
  To connect to the service provider using the data source Manager in excel.
  Develop the planning, application, and file the form, you should see the form have an icon instead of a cube shape icon, you should be able to select "Ad - hoc analysis."

  Using Excel 2010, by pressing f11 is supposed to make a graph on a new sheet, but no graphic is displayed. The shortcut alt f1 works but the picture is on the same sheet as it should. He has been installed from the DVD as well as used on my desktop that works properly. How can I determine if it is the program / computer / keyboard or what is stop this work?   I installed TDM excel 2010 component snap and have excel 2010 (32-bit version) on my laptop.

  When I open a file PDM with 300000 lines using excel importer of PDM, it will automatically start the excel. But it will display a dialog box saying that the number of rows exceeds the limitation of the program (65536). It confuses me because excel 2010 is supposed to be able to open the data file more than 1 million rows.

  The add-in works great with any TDMS file within the limit of 65536 lines.
