• Why Windows high contrast doesn't work anymore since Firefox 29 and the theme of the Australia?

  In firefox, 28 and all versions before that when I had Windows High Contrast active firefox would also be in high contrast. This would make black Web pages and all the text would become white. Because of my disability which makes it much easier for me to see and walk through it. Since firefox 29 and the introduction of the Australia theme but it seems like a high contrast in windows is no longer supported by firefox.   There is a hidden value that needs to be modified in two places:

  Click on ok and the color... on the content page > uncheck the allow pages choose own colors other than above. Make sure that the background is black and white choice policies.

  Under windows if you have high contrast mode, please also try "use system colors".

  I just installed my new Windows 8 a few days back and accidentally activated the high-contrast mode. Now no matter what I can not I go back? Is anyone else having the same trouble? When I go in the settings of your laptop, it allows me to change the setting ON / OFF, scroll bar, but nothing happens.

  I came up with a solution to your problem.  I accidentally clicked and turned on at high contrast.  When I clicked to stop, nothing has changed.  I went online to chat with a Microsoft representative online.  A man has remote controlled my computer to solve the problem.  I know what to do.  Go to your home page, then click Desktop.  Once you get to your office, to the RIGHT, CLICK on the screen.  A small box opens to the right of the needle.  Click CUSTOMIZE.  Then click on the theme of WINDOWS under the windows 3 default themes.  You must click on the one with the flower top.  Turn off you high contrast

• How to disable high contrast Mode in my Netbook running on Windows 8

  I've successfully upgraded the operating system in one of my Windows 7 starter netbooks to Windows 8 Pro via product key. It has been done successfully, however, I can not turn off high contrast mode. When I go in the settings of PC, I see this notification:

• The syntax coloring does not work on Windows high contrast Theme

  -On Windows 10, if I use the default theme, coloring syntax works fine.

  -If I switch to my custom high-contrast dark theme Windows (black window background, white text), the text in Code view or the Code Inspector is a single color (white on black), and "Color Syntaxing" option is grayed out. So, it seems that Windows themes replace Dreamweaver.

  -If I switch to the default theme Windows 10, then turn on syntax coloring, then switch back to my high contrast theme, a few syntax colors stay, as tags HTML object, but most of the text turns white.

  - So I think that it is a bug fix / feature request: Please make Dreamweaver code replace Windows themes like the other apps do (Notepad ++ for example).

  In fact, not really a bug, but more than one function of wondering who I'll introduce.  Is not sound as there is no current workaround solution other that temporarily switching Windows to a theme non-haut contrast.

  I look forward to the update Dreamweaver CC 2016 which I've heard will bring a dark theme in the user interface.  Now, it would be just great if Windows 10 allowed customization of it of regular hardware accelerated theme and not relying on high contrast mode, which should legitimately outweigh everything else since this is a feature of "accessibility".

  Halima option is great, but sometimes it doesn't, if you use Windows vista, then the following steps will solve the problem.

  • What happens when you try to access the options of thoes?
  • You receive an error message?
  • What were the changes made before the problem occurred?

  I recommend you perform the clean boot and check if you are able to disable high contrast theme.

  Put your boot system helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. If so, you need to maybe contact the manufacturer of the program for updates or uninstall and reinstall the program.
