highlight the characters in a button label

I used to do this in flash for heading a tank in a button label to indicate its keyboard shortcut

addItemButton.labelPath.html = true;
addItemButton.labelPath.htmlText = "< u > a < /u > dd Item."    A

How can I do this in flex

Thank you

It is not as simple as I'm afraid, you will have to create your own button component, I think.

Fortunately! It has already been done for you!

Here is the link:

  • Do not see the button label after redraw ButtonField

    I create a button in this way:

    Protected Sub layout (int maxWidth, maxHeight int) {}

    Button label is not visible, even if the button is not selected. If I create the button in this way: new ButtonField ("Label", Field.FIELD_HCENTER); label is visible. So I think I'm missing something in the positioning method. But I don't know what is. If anyone knows, please help me. Thank you.

    Add this before "setExtent (maxWidth/2, 25);" inside the sublayout() method.

    super.layout(maxWidth/2, 25);

  • Button highlights: y at - it workaround (as it is in DVDSP) to have the crispy, not pixelated button highlights?

    I am aware of the limitation of 2 bit of the DVD specification.  However, DVD Studio Pro is a workaround that allows decent looking button highlight States.  Is there such a strategy for Adobe Encore?

    Not directly. You can't have images. The solution is to use autoactivate (a button) to access a different menu which changes the image in the background for this button.  You create multiple menus, with an ordinary State for all buttons in all the menus, with the exception of the different "Star" for the "selected" button MouseOver not autoactivate, so this does not work on a computer as you want.

  • Import under... &gt; Menu .psd highlight the button does not

    No doubt, I watched every video tutorial out there and each article on the creation of a file in Photoshop .psd then import as menu, but for the life of me I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

    I have a group of buttons with the (+) prefix.  Below, I highlight the prefix (= 1) layer and below I have the text layer.

    When I import the .psd, it shows in the window workspace ok but when I saw the DVD, the highlight is always visible and nothing happens when I mouse - above or click the button.

    I have attached the .psd if anyone can take a look.  I don't know miss me something very obvious, but I compared my .psd with a lot of samples, and I can't find what it is I am doing wrong.

    Thanks in advance.

    The default button is always highlighted, so if you have only one button, it is always highlighted.

    The button will not work until link you to a timeline, an another menu or other objects of the project.

  • How to change the button label fontfamily

    Hello

    I want to change the fontfamily to a button. now, it would not be the problem, but the police (intaglio) have no bold... its just a different file name.

    normal: CopperplateGothicStd - 31BC.otf
    "BOLD": CopperplateGothicStd - 33BC.otf

    I read in the flex doku:

  • Hide the button label Radio via Javascript

    Aloah,

    I have a problem with the cache one option button and label.

    Location:

    I have two groups of Radio with 3 radio buttons.
    Click on a radio button within the first group, I would like to hide the 2 buttons in the second.

    I tried the x_ToggleItem of javascript functions, the x_Hide and the x_ToggleItemRow.
    But all the functions to do the same thing:
    They hide only the button (input type), but not the label (not the Label of the Radio group, but the radio button label).

    So my question is:
    How to hide the button Radio WITH his label?
    Or: How I address the label in JavaScript?

    PS: in the future I will bore you guys more often with questions: P

    MFG,
    Andi

    Hello Andi,

    The problem is that the current implementation of the input element radio group and the label are "separated". There is no common parent (as it should be IMHO).

    But there is... jQuery. Using jQuery you can hide an element with the id and hide the label using the next() method.

    If something like this (where P13_RG1_3 is the 3rd option in a radiogroup):

    $('#P13_RG1_3').hide (); $('#P13_RG1_3').next () .hide ();

  • How do I add images instead of text radio button label

    In a pure AS3 project, is there a way to add use an image placed in the library / path of the Flex/AIR SDK compiler instead of like a radio button label text?

    I tried may as unicode character substitution:

    rb1.label = String.fromCharCode("0x2592");

    But how it displays depends on the device, the availability of font characters. Poster in unpredictable ways.

    Prefer anyway to use an image I can create artificial intelligence.

    Any help appreciated.

    Why not just ignore trying to conquer the label and add an image where the label would normally be?

  • How can I type the characters printed in green on the keyboard of Acer aspire switch 10?

    My (Northern) keyboard on my Acer Aspire switch 10 has some characters printed in green. This includes the backslash character I need desperately. However, I can't find any information in the manual or elsewhere about access (type) these characters. Help, please!

    I tried now. With the help of the button Fn-type only the characters printed in blue. The backslash is printed in green, as is the Danish æ and 0-slash (o). Explaining the problem to my wife, she wanted to give it a go. And to my surprise it resolved in less than a minute. I had missed that the backslash WAS ALSO printed in white on the same key as + and? so, to be able to type it, all I have to do is pressed the Alt - Gr key pressing this key. Stupid of me to do not see it the first time around.

    Getting back to the question initial on the characters printed in green, I came to the conclusion that it is "conversion" of the keyboard in a Danish provision of individual countries by specifying this keyboard layout in Windows settings. Similarly, there are a few characters printed in red. I assume these are Norwegians.

    This type of complexity, that's what you get when manufacturers want to reduce country-variants for as little as possible, I guess.

    So all is well here

  • How to change a button label using a dynamic action?

    I have a button 'toggle' to filter active only on an interactive report.  I use dynamic measures to filter the report in function when you press the button... the problem is that when I click on it, I want the button label to say "All" instead of "Active only"... don't want to have to create 2 buttons and actions separate and other.

    I put the label must be a hidden element and P11_BUTTON_LABEL.

    I update the region, but the change button only when I refresh the page my hidden item is changed.

    have a dynamic action of the 2 step

    (1) pl/sql to set values

    (2) the region of refreshment

    This is Apex 4.2.4.00.08 on DB: 11.2.0.1.0

    Thanks in advance,

    Scott

    In your dynamic action, add a javascript to execute action, follow these steps in action:

    $("#TEST_BUTTON").attr ('value', 'DAMIFINO');

    Where TEST_BUTTON is the static Id of your button (you can set it to the definition of the button) and where DAMIFINO is the string you want to take...  You could write some javascript so so statement to switch the value depending on whether it is all or only active...

    Hello

    I use RH8.0.2.

    When I click on the text of the hyperlink it navigate to the correct page, but in the content of the table of contents section that appears is not highlighted. Then there's the page where he was selected remains highlighted.

    For example: as in Fig1, if I click on the "TMD PDU" it navigate to the page on the right as in Fig. 2, but fake 'E - UTRA RLC Messages Overview' remains enabled. Ideally in TOC "TDG PDU" page should be highlighted.

    How to solve this problem?

    Hi Rahul

    There are a few things you need to check here. I will assume from the images, you create the CHM files.

    First, open the project set-up pod and expand the Windows folder. Change the properties of your CHM window, and then make sure that the option to synchronize the table of contents has been activated.

    Once you've done that, change the properties of single Source available and click the change... button. This should open another dialog box where you must click on the Styles tab OCD make sure you check the option always show selection .

    See you soon... Rick

    Hello

    Manage your click event in the custom but component only to send an event to display the button click on it.

    http://www.Adobe.com/2006/mxml"width ="400"height ="300">

            private function clickHandler (): void {}
    dispatchEvent (new Event ('myClickEvent')):
    }
    ]]>

    [Event (name = "myClickEvent" type = "flash.events.Event")]

    Using the tag, you expose your custom event in mxml when you use your tag customComp in your main application.  So in your main application you can manage here

    "http://www.adobe.com/2006/MXML" layout = "absolute" xmlns:ns1 ="*" >
        myClickEvent = "myClickHandler ()"> ""

    In this way, you can write several event handlers for the different ways you want to when you instansiate your custom model.

    Hope that helps
