Highlight tool, typewriter tool, menu missing + missing etc.

I installed Acrobat 9.5.5 Pro as part of the CS4 Suite several years ago.  I'm a casual user of Acrobat 9 Pro.  I used the tool to highlight and the typewriter tool on many documents over the years.  Although I recorded on my computer.  They have renderable text!

Suddenly, the highlight tool and typewriter tool and others disappeared + went from the tools + its submenus.  I'm a pretty savvy computer user.  I don't remember that I did something to change the Tools menu.

When I go to View\Toolbars\More tools... the highlight tool and the typewriter tool don't show up there either.

I reinstalled Acrobat 9 Pro from the original CD... the Tools menu is always missing the Highlight tool and typewriter tool and others. (I say 'other' because, even if I can't have used them, I feel that there are already more visible tools on the tools + its submenus)

Can someone tell me how to recover point highlight tool and the tool machine to write?

Well... you can go through this post/problem in your list.  I couldn't wait any longer.  I had the tools/functions that have mysteriously disappeared.

I spent about 3 1/2 hours deactivate the Suite CS4, uninstallation of the CS4 Suite, removing any reference I could find of 'adobe', 'NPF' and 'flex' of my files and the registry, clean my registry and restarted.

Then I had to go through the process of installation 3 times (each time), in order to get all the Suite CS4 programs to install correctly.  (No other programs running during install.)  Thanks for the good old old-fashioned print magazines!)

What a pain in the anus!

    Hi all

Poster for the first time - would be grateful for your help.

I created my first website with Dreamweaver. It was all the wonder and suddenly the interface seems to have changed and I can't get it back to that now I kind of understand!

The Properties tab along the bottom is now just "view code" and does not contain stuff on links etc that previously existed. In addition, my source CSS box is empty, and clicking on 'Add source' does not seem to do anything. My 'main.css' file is still there in the area of hierarchy of file above, but I can't seem to add it as a source (not sure what I was doing take-out at the start!)

    Help!

    Hello

I found this old discussion (see below) - it seems that it never came to a solution.

I have the same problem. I can't find the JavaScript Document tool in my Acrobat X Pro. It should be in the Tools menu. But that's all there is:

The version on my computer is 10.1.3.

    Advanced menu Option missing

    This issue is no answer.

    November 3, 2011 11:02

Adobe Acrobat Pro X has recently been installed on my pc. I noticed that some menu options are absent or have moved and I can't find them. I am specifically looking for the Advanced menu option. I searched the Adobe Forums such as the internet and that you have not found an answer concrete.

In the end, I would like to create a field of date text, using JavaScript, which will be self-posting of the current date. Technically, I know absolutely nothing to JavaScript, but managed to find information online. According to the Guide of Acrobat 6 Javascript scripts, the directions say to choose Advanced Options > JavaScript > Document JavaScripts to add a script. How do I do this in X?

    Thank you.

Open the 'Forms' category and you will find additional options for the treatment of forms. You create a form or being edit a PDF form to get the tool change to display the task of forms. Once the task of forms, 'Other work' will appear and breast of this set of tasks is the option of "Document JavaScripts... ».

  • Cannot add the find now is in the Tools menu when you try to install add to import Windows Live messages, contacts, etc.

I want to import Windows Live 2011 messages, contacts, etc and tried to install the recommended add on. I downloaded and registered the add on by following the instructions, but when I went on the Tools menu, to add on the of are not there to complete the installation.

Add what ons reports tools when you use the menu bar. Shortcuts universal to display hidden menu bars is alt or F10

It looks like you use the button AppMenu (3 horizontal lines).
I guess that you haven't noticed the Add-ons selection in the main menu when you have clicked on that.

Create a different user account with exactly the same type of account > connection him > Disk Cleanup app available?

  • Mask tool is missing from the drop-down window.

Since I've updated the Photoshop CC today, the mask tool is missing from the status as well as bar in drop-down list of the windows. I have reset, uninstalled, reset and installed again but still the same issue.

I am a beginner in Photoshop and do not know if there is a setting somehwere that I may have missed or so.

    Forward to your response.

    Thank you.

I think they're using an earlier version of Photoshop. This Panel now in the properties panel. They tried to consolidate some of the panels.

Window > properties should be there. If you do not make me know.

DPS is not supported in InDesign CC 2015. You will need to install InDesign 2014 CC-by-side to use DPS tools, that you have used. See download and install Adobe Creative cloud applications to learn how to install the previous version of InDesign.

Digital Publishing Solution (aka DPS 2015) is supported in InDesign CC 2015.

May the PSE tools are nested together. The crop tool is with the recompose tool. Right-click or click and hold on the recompose tool and you will see:

  • My rectangle tool is missing

My rectangle tool is MISSING from illustrator cc. How can I get it back?

As a newbie, I thought that I had lost mine as well.  Apparently, as mentioned above, all the shape tools (Rectangle, Rectangle, round, Ellipse, polygon, Star and Flare) share the same palette and the last one you used is visible as an icon.  For example, I was playing with the rounded tool is the one that shows the icon when I watch my tools, not the Rectangle Panel as I expected.  Just click on the arrow of the angle of what shape is visible in the list above and you will find what you are looking for.

  • How can I sort alphabetically in the drop-down list in the Tools menu of Firefox?

The Tools menu has a drop-down list, but the entries are not in alphabetical order. Options and a few individual add-ons/extensions appear in the list, but not in alphabetical order. It would be useful to them in alphabetical order in the list, however, I can't find any option to sort. Did I miss a hidden, built-in option for sorting? Is there an add-on may be providing a way to sort? Someone has an idea? I have not found anything this either in my research on the subject... just what is the sorting of bookmarks. But it's the combo of Tools menu I want to be able to twist. Anyone?

There is no built-in opportunities to change the menus of the application. The easiest way to do this is by using the editor from Menu Add-on.

Advanced users familiar with CSS can create a custom style sheet and apply it with Stylish.

  • InDesign lack from the Tools Menu of Bridge CS6

I use CS6 and indesign is not in my Tools menu. I checked the startup scripts in the preferences, and it is checked. I tried unchecking it and restarting, then check again and I also tried to reset my preferences when you start bridge. OSX 10.8.5 and bridge 5.0.0.39

P.S. I think this should be an easy fix and something easy to get, but I looked for a long time and the only thing I found is the question from time to time. I have not found anything for CS6 and I have not found a solution.

Hello, according to http://indesignsecrets.com/missing-the-indesign-contact-sheet-bridge-to-the-rescue.php , the function bridge of planks contact in the Tools menu has been removed to CS4 and is replaced by the output module.
