    Are you able to get into BIOS to make changes?

    If so, you can try to reset the default settings of the BIOS and check.

    NOTE: Change (CMOS) BIOS/complementary metal oxide semiconductor settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the configuration of the BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Changes to settings are at your own risk.

    You can also try to remove all external usb devices that can be connected to the system and start-up and see if the system boots.

    You can uninstall it if you want. I would not DELETE (is that if you're on a Mac). But first make sure that all your presets user and you did the adaptations were copied or moved during LR6 before uninstalling.

    Uninstall CS4 versions properly using the uninstall programs that come with them (aliases are in each of the directories of the apps). In addition, it works as it should - newer versions always leave former in place. If you will be able to open all your files CS4 in CS6 we do not know - Yes, newer versions should open older files, but you could use specific things that limit compatibility as some plug-ins which would need to be upgraded for CS6 as well.     A few years back, I got the version of the Adobe Design Standard CS4 student. I have since upgraded to CS6 and have more no use of my design Standard software. The discs are just sitting there in the box.

    I'm not aware of any specific recycling for DVD or CD program for the discs themselves.  You are also right that since it is the educational version you can not sell the software.

    Sorry end Nokia CSUTracker.xml take so much space, it is a file used to follow the updates of Creative Suite application and can be deleted safely. A new (much smaller) will be created if necessary.

    By its name, it is the image ISO of the DVD Windows 7 Professional 64-bit (English language).

    Depending on the size, (41.4 MB according to you), it is incomplete by many and of no use.

    As indicated in the title, I copied my HARD whole on an external SSD drive which is running off the coast of USB 3.0. Things work terribly for months now, so I think I'm ready to wipe the HARD disk partition original that was made when initially, I set up my Mac Mini and recover about 300 GB of space which is just collecting dust. I'm just a little unsure as to how to best / safest this approach and could use some advice.

    • Should I simply delete the partition by using the disk utility? Who will mess up anything?
    • Should I leave a copy of Mac OS on that partition incase my SSD never goes down?
    • What happens to the settings of recovery if I wipe the HARD disk partition original?

    All advice is appreciated!

    Personally I backup the HARD drive and external SSD on another external drive and set it asside before doing anything.
