  I have several .tdms EA data files (a few seconds sampled at 800kHz). I want to generate ASCII (.txt) files. I actually do, with these and a few other multichannel (fs but weak, 3 kHz). The problem is that if the EA files are too big (for example, 15 seconds), when running the .vi an error saying 'not enough memory to perform the operation.

  So, any ideas?

  I guess that there is a way to write the file in blocks, open - write data - write some data more - new - close the file.

  But my LV skills aren't too good again, reaching .tdms save data and to convert was a great battle.

  So, any ideas for Dummies?

  I searched for the block which gives error and found that none does. I think it's a limitation of the computer, not LV

  In the .vi, I make a loop for the transformation of file format. The 1st .tdms (68Mb in size, a single channel) is done correctly. 2nd (380Mb, also a channel, just more long acquisition time) is the problem. When reading it, it appears the "not enough memory to perform the operation" code window message, but not style of LV, or error, or the window title, just the message and an Ok button. And don't run the program step-by-step (lamp on), no error message appears on the son of the error.

  Even more, it creates a file .txt 2nd, with the proper name (002_xxx), BUT, same size as the first. I would say that the computer is not able to read a lot of data (32 bit, 1 GB RAM) and continues to work with earlier data (first file).

  I'll just try on another computer (64 bit, 3, 93 GB of RAM) and display the results.

• SkinnableContainer kills linebreaking?

  I only used Flex/Flashbuilder for about two weeks, so apologies if it just of newbie confusion...

  After struggling set backgrounds in HGroups and VGroups, I learned at last count. I have converted one of my other containers to a SkinnableContainer, created the simplest possible (I think) skin and now my line breaks RichText component is no longer! This is despite the definition of the attribute lineBreak to "toFit" in all imaginable places.

  The page layout, I work with is fairly complex, but I bring the problem to the code below. You will see the SkinnableContainer - there is also a commented tag group near him. If I remove the SkinnableContainer and replace it with a simple group, line break occurs as I hope. The code below is the skin I use. Any advice would be welcome; I had been intending to use a wide range of components of SkinnableContainter containing blocks of text for my application, but if linebreaking does not work, I have a problem.   It has been well over a year since I installed my operating system and at the time, firefox was still using the synchronization of the former. Yesterday I had to reinstall my OS (I used Win7 Ultimate and now I use Win7 Home Pre). First thing I realized after installing firefox, it's that my Firefox Sync key was not used more. After research, I reinstalled firefox 23.0.1 and added the key to the synchronization in the history, I have only since 2 months, in the library of history, I have all the months up to more than 6 months but when I click on one of them in the left pane, in the right pane, I have only 2 months (check screenshots). This sync key was created in March 2011 and at the time I was with Linux, I installed different distributions and ultimately Windows and everything was recorded in the cloud with the synchronization and always completely sync to install new ones.
  In firefox 23.0.1 if I click to reset sync and delete all the files and replace them with the synchronized data and it shows that there are 994 history entries (I'm sure that in over 3 years, I would have more then 994) deleted, but when I check the history I have ~ 200. I tried the upgrade to new sync, separation device and update of firefox, but history shows always just over the last 2 months.

• How to get the url dropdown bar be simple recent history

  I would like a simple list of recent history displayed when I click on the arrow at the right end of the URL entry box. I mean a simple most-recently-visited-on-the-top list of URLS. What I get by default is a list which has absolutely no sense to me, is in some unknown order and is of no value whatsoever. I don't know what algorithm is used to populate the list that is displayed leaving completely empty the URL line. I can't find an option that would set this list view. I find the boring bar awesomely as it's great.

  The last time that Firefox actually saved a html page in history was May 16. Firefox will not save the pages I visit that are not html pages, a page ending in jpg, .doc, .pdf, etc..

  I tried several time messing around with the options - picking don't remember history, and then restart and selecting remember history.

  I uninstalled Firefox, but retained the personal data. Then I reinstalled. Still did not work.

  OK - crazy - but now that I have worked on the issue of the home and goes to a page which was not in the drop-down list - I restarted FireFox and now is to remember the story correctly. However, all my ancient history has been deleted - it looks like all, it will be deleted. I no it was not deleted.

  The only other change that's happened when I restarted FireFox, this last time was the update of the Adobe Application updated itself and also updated Adobe Camera Raw.

  In any case, it seems to work now - it's great!

  Only after obtaining iOS9 (currently both iOS 9.3.1 phones) did find out about the 'great' feature of iOS8 that makes my phone history (and sometimes text messages) between my iPhone5 and iPhone6s my wife; and prevents me from using FaceTime and iMessage while that connected to iCloud.  We share the same account Apple ID and iCloud.  Let me preface this and make it very clear, I don't want to get a separate Apple ID or an iCloud account separate b/c in the past at least, we could share photos, calendars, etc. automatically between phones, we pay for an iCloud account and need two day I will also understand how to get once more my iPhoto on my Mac flow to really share pictures with our iPhones.    And, NO, I don't want to not go through the steps of 'push' or 'sharing' of photos to choose photos, send invite, accept, repeat whenever I have new pictures I want to share between my phone and my wife.  It is enough that iPhoto on my Mac is no longer download photos in photostream badly (or unfortunately), but this is another can of worms, I turn w / in another post.

  Apple technical support told me that I have two options: 1. get my Apple ID and somehow still connect to the existing iCloud account, and I would use the new Apple ID when I connect to FaceTime and iMessage for allowing me to use FaceTime and iMessage on my phone and do not receive the history of my wife's phone calls. 2. on my phone off iCloud sign, sign out of FaceTime and log iMessage so that I don't get my wife story iPhone and vice versa.  Way to go Apple!

  And before the obnoxious ask, Yes, on both phones we have disabled transfer; on both phones, we don't just list the phone number for that particular phone for iMessage (send and receive), but below the selected phone number e-mail address for the AppleID is also listed but w / 'active' not next to the email address we cannot erase or delete the email address from a phone without getting a warning "is no longer can receive iMessage to the 'xyz.net" on all devices "-we have an iPad Mini that my wife sometimes used for FaceTime, so we have to be able to use the email address on this device (the mini has currently FaceTime or iMessage selected or put in operation and only uses the AppleID address e-mail to join to the); FaceTime - I turned it off on my phone (so I can't use FaceTime); Families lists only members enamel of the AppleID and no other e-mail address or by telephone etc are listed (I still don't know how the family share works except it is somehow w / 'purchases'); iCloud unit is running (on both phones I think)

  I got w / Apple software that's supposed to do 'just' and not work.  Every iOS update removes, modifies or installs a limitation or feature that live until I had in place (and updated change settings I need to look after that things are twisted). The "Apple way" isn't often the 'client' way these days.

  Someone at - there a way for me to keep using the same Apple account ID and iCloud on phones separate without obtaining the history of each shared phone calls between phones?

  STOP sharing an iCloud account. They are NOT intended to share. If you insist to do, then you will have to face the consequences.

  I had 12. Firefox (FF) something and he used with happiness when I was getting a new hard drive and start over, I decided to upgrade to the latest FF of the moment, 18.something...

  After going through the implementation of all the different Add - ons etc... and reset the options/preferences (not cool how you reset all those whenever it updates!) The opening time and closing went from 2 to 4 seconds each to 78 seconds to open and 48 seconds to close. In the last two days, I tried (except reset) and read all the suggestions on here does not.

  So I read up on how to uninstall completely any trace of Firefox so I could do a clean install, which did not work, either: the freshly reinstalled 18 FF. ? program still opened and closed at the same time, and had all my info despite my deleting files/sub-sub-sub-records said to hold this info. I disabled everything in FF, still no improvement, so still once I tried to find info on how to completely remove the FF and still nothing it is right for current programs.

  Today I looked again for the info on how to remove completely the FF, found something new to me and tried this, including the complete registry search and remove anything with the name of firefox, then reinstalled FF 18. ?
  Yet all my favorites and info was there, and when I raised my help he auto-mis updated to 19.0 without my permission, even when I don't like other decisions for me for "my good"(d'où le nom d'écran) not OK! ".

  So I tried the reset function to 19.0 FF and it's just that and the opening and closing time lag had gone, back to 2-4 seconds each, which seemed great!, but no.

  When I went back to set up my options and restarted, FF went back to the lag, so I eventually removed/reset everything and all was well again, so I started putting/setting things back one at a time, that's when I found and verified the problem, the history settings!!!
  

  I repeated this 6 times with the same results:

  My settings in Custom were:

  Accept and remember everything until I close FF
  Clear history the closure of FF.

  In the "Settings" submenu under the closure of FF clear history:
  All 6 boxes are checked for history and no boxes have been checked for data (all default values)

  I watched the process running in the task manager during startup and shutdown FF with these settings, I found that it was not only FF.exe works but also a plugin - container.exe, both eventually stop after about 48 seconds, the plugin container does not appear to run when the story is set on do not forget all the... (I have an incomplete memory on the container of plugin causing problems of this kind in the past, but I can't remember what or exactly when so much...)

  I also tried to leave the setting of history to remember them all and him restarted and tried to erase everything in the menu Tools and FF unresponsive for about 60 seconds and then seemed fine afterwards.

  So, I conclude that there is a problem in the newer versions with the history of compensation in the background while the browser continues to operate, and the likely culprit is the plugin container(again?)...

  So now to the questions...

  Is it possible to set to Custom history and 19.0 FF remain operational during this process and for FF close in a few seconds, as in FF 12. something with the same parameters of the story?
  If yes how can I configure that?

  If no, what is the last version that will work properly with history to remember until FF is closed and then wipe front of re-opening, without waiting for more than a few seconds for everything to happen as it was in my FF12. ? Version?

  Also, How do I remove ALL TRACES of Firefox 18.? and up so that I can do a clean install if I need to, as I said everything that is here or linked to from here up to today, 2/21/2013, was not sufficient.
