• New FF26 facility will not change home page help

  I bought a new computer HP Windows 7 Pro, 3 GHz, 4 GB of DDR3 Ram, 500 GB WD HD and I have installed FF26. It does not change the default homepage to mine, it always shows two tabs loaded with the Mozilla FF Start Page. I edited the subject: config and it has no effect on the page loaded at launch. I uninstalled and reinstalled FF26 and which had no effect. I need help to get this problem solved, please.

  Some security and utility software has a "browser protection", protection of the home page"or the functionality of"surf protection"that protects you against changes made to the settings of your browser. And you cannot change them yourself. Could check you this option in avast!, Advanced SystemCare (if you have one) and any other software that could be keeping an eye on your system?

  TOOLS then OPTIONS then GENERAL TAB in the session start at the STARTUP of FIREFOX put SHOW MY HOME PAGE and equip your homepage HOMEPAGE of session to the bottom of it. Be sure to click on OK to save the changes.

• Products on the Home Page - help!

  I am building a site that has a table of 3 x 3 of products on the homepage and I want to use pagnation to load more products in the same provision on the following pages. See the image at the bottom of this post to get an idea of the layout.  I use module_productfeaturelist to view flagged items but I can't understand the following:

  (1) how to display this module in a table instead of a li?

  (2) how can I include the functionality of pagnation for products that do not match this page overflow to the next page (using the same model)

  This is the module I use: {module_productfeaturelist, defect of product tile, 9, true}

  I really apprecaite your help!

  

  The number of items means how long before paging occurs. While you could change this to a table all you need to do is to float your list items in your CSS to get this provision.

• How to reset the homepage of "Firefox Home Page" when a software I downloaded did Yahoo search as homepage on start engine up-same update did not help.

  I downloaded a software that allows me to convert my laptop into a Wifi hotspot. He asked me (during installation) to set the home page of my browser like search engine Yahoo. After you download it, I tried to update Firefox by clicking "Troubleshooting information", but it hasn1t has worked so far. I would like to see the home page of Mozilla Firefox when I run my internet connection. Kindly help.

• There is a box on my home page; nothing works on the screen and I have to open my home page in a new window. Can you help me?

  When I open Firefox on my home page, there is an empty space in the middle of the screen. No script; just a bar click on and an empty box and a (?). Nothing works and to get out of the Firefox screen, I have to close it with the Task Manager. I can open in a new window and the box is not - that's what I use now. Can I have a virus?   AOL toolbar extension has been reported because of this problem with an empty window that appears at startup.

  Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

  • Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
  • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe

• SOMEHOW, YAHOO TOOK OVER MY HOME PAGE AND I CAN'T RESET IT. CAN ANYONE HELP PLEASE?

  Yahoo Search has completely taken over my computer. I can't reset my home page as it has to do so grayed out and accessible location. I'm only a little with the navigation of the computer, but surely someone in the world of Firefox has experienced this phenomenon before and has a solution.

  You may have a lock file. The best way to clear it is this clean reinstall procedure:

  (1) download a fresh Installer for Firefox 33 of https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ in an ideal location. (Scroll down your preferred language).

  (2) the release of Firefox.

  (3) to rename the folder (Windows 32-bit folder names)

  C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
  

  TO

  C:\Program Files\OldFirefox
  

  (4) run the installer you downloaded in the #1. It should automatically connect to your existing settings.

  Try restarting Firefox. Fixed?

  Note: Some plugins recently installed can exist only in this OldFirefox file. If it is missing something essential, present in these files:

  • C:\Program Files\OldFirefox\Plugins
  • C:\Program Files\OldFirefox\browser\plugins

• I can't go back to my home page. It means I have something open when I try to "RESET FIREFOX' HELP!

  Sorry, it's a little confusing. You get the screen "embarrassed" If Firefox crashed and is not able to automatically restore your previous session.

  If you uncheck old windows and tabs, Firefox should start with your home page after that.

  What page you want as your home page? You can check the setting in the Preferences dialog box. These articles describe the steps:

  If Firefox is ignoring your homepage layout and a different page, it could be caused by one of your modules, maybe one who snuck in unexpectedly.

  You can view your extensions and disable those unknown or unwanted page modules. Either:

  In the left column, click Extensions.

  When you first get Firefox, it searches your system for extensions, so you can see something associated with your security software. But way General, extensions are optional and you do not need to allow an any of them, except if find you them useful.

• I get a "MALICIOUS URL BLOCKED" message when you connect to gmail or iGoogle home page, ONLY WITH FIREFOX (not with Internet Explorer). Help!

  For the past two weeks, whenever I connect to gmail or iGoogle home page I get a message from avast! Antivirus (free version) saying that it has detected a malicious site. This only happens when using Firefox. No message is displayed if I connect using Internet Explorer 8. I use Windows XP Pro Service Pack 3, avast! Version 6.0.1367 (updated daily), Mozilla Firefox 10.0. I also use Malware Anti-Malware and SUPER Anti Spyware, bytes that are also updated regularly. The only recent downloads in my system were version 10.0 of Firefox and Microsoft Updates. I even tried to roll back to version 9, no change or improvement. This is the URL that is blocked, as shown in the pop-up message: OBJECT: http://74.50.117.107/js/je.php?u=739ec4a2-4903-4c0d-aee6-bdb3d2cdb87c & a = 200 & i = 111 & s = 0 INFECTION: PROCESS URL: MAL: C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe. What worries me, because it barely resembles the horizon, and I do not use IE, it is slower and does not include Ad Block, which I use a lot (apart from the fact that Microsoft is trying to push me to buy Windows 7 * IE9 does not work with XP *, which would require the upgrade my computer and for the moment there is no budget available.).   May not be related to your problem, but some of your Firefox Plugins are out of date

  • Update all of your Firefox Plugins-> https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/
  • During the installation of the Plugins download files hotfix, remove the check mark to download any other software options with your Plugins (for example, toolbars, McAfee, Google Chrome, etc.)

  Firefox is a web browser, not a homepage.

  Looks like you have the old www.google.com/firefox/ start page to be the default home page in Firefox before Firefox 4.0 sometime. It is not maintained by Google more so either ignore the message or while in Firefox, go to tools-> Options-> general-> home page section and change your home page.

• Firefox 5 opens three legs to start: welcome Firefox to my home page and to update download helper 4.9.3 to 4.9.4. I put the browser from my home page and nothing else. How can I fix it?

  I want just a single tab with my home page at startup. After updating to Firefox 5, I can't get rid of the home page. After update to support download, I can't get rid of the tab saying I need to update to 4.9.3 4.9.4. I removed Download helper and reinstalled but still have the problem.
