Horizontal Scrolling Thumbnails slideshow (Are these possible in Muse CC 2014)

Good afternoon Muse Forum: my name is Ira Bitner NYC U.S.A.

How are you? I have a question regarding slideshow and thumbnails in MUSE CC 2014.

Is Q: in Muse possible to have a slideshow with thumbnails scrolling? In other words is it possible to build a slideshow where, for example, maybe 30 thumbnails are used, but only 5 or more are visible in a horizontal row at hand (image of 'Hero') and when the user clicks on an arrow the advance of thumbnails horizontally to the left which brings the new group of tiles that have been 'hidden' on the horizontal line of origin? This allows the site contains many thumbnails that can "hold" on the page and at the same time does not cause additional thumbnails to be stacked vertically all on the same page at the same time view?

It is a very popular way of showing a slide show that advance images. I spent all night and hours and hours of searching Muse videos, entire web tutorials in the forums, and have not been able to find a way to achieve this type of slideshow. I would have thought that the real slideshow widget, it would have been very obvious if it was actually possible to Muse. Help, please. If you need any Web site link as an example of the progress that horizontal thumbnail slideshow, I'll add one, but it is very common, and I can't believe that Muse would not allow it to build.

    You can try to use the compositions, click slide show in the composition.

    In the target composition container insert the slideshow and as game slides, create different slideshows for containers of different composition.

    It would have a similar effect.

  • Is it possible fill the width of the browser without creating a horizontal scrolling?

    I am filling the width of the browser of images placed on the page so that they bleed off the coast. But as soon as I reached the edge of the work area and then preview it scrolls just to show the empty spaces.

    I'm trying to get the effect that if you're a display on a monitor screen wide you see all the pictures, but if displayed on a screen smaller than images are just purge with no option to horizontally scroll.

    Is this possible?

    If I understand your question, create a rectangle of width of 100%, or by clicking on the icon of the 100% width or drag the edge to the edge of space of the browser until the edge lights up red. Now, go to the filler panel and select Add images. Choose your image. Set location to the Center. Assign the editing Original size - this will prevent the image to resize with the browser. You will need to ensure that the images are large enough to fill the screen, of course.

  • How can I get rid of the horizontal scroll on these pages?

    There are 2 pages of my Web site that publishes with horizontal scrolling, and I don't want to do. The pages are:

    http://aboveparinteractive.BusinessCatalyst.com/BIOS.html and

    http://aboveparinteractive.BusinessCatalyst.com/our-philosphy.html

    Both have pictures of width of 100% at the top and bottom in the Middle a box that flies from the left or the right, which I applied Parallax scrolling for. I did the same thing on the home page and it worked fine with no hoizontal scroll bar, but on these two pages, I get horizontal scrolling. I can't understand what I am doing wrong to cause this. Any ideas out there?

    Hi Ryan,

    If you go to this page in Design of Muse mode and select all items on the page (using the keyboard shortcut is easier for this cmd + a), check if there are objects scattered outside your area of the page. Anything to the right outside of the page that you want to get exported is also get exported, and which is usually the most common case to do this. If there are objects, try to delete those and republication.

    If it does not exist, please send your .muse file same muse-support address you sent earlier with the subject attn:Dana.

    Thank you!

    1. I can't the value of horizontal scrolling to horizontal management Manager because of who I am not able to access the keys 4 and 5.

    2. usually, we put horizontal scrolling in the following way:

    container = new HorizontalFieldManager(USE_ALL_WIDTH|HORIZONTAL_SCROLL|HORIZONTAL_SCROLLBAR);

    3. so I also tried setting of horizontal scrolling in the following way

       container = new HorizontalFieldManager(Manager.HORIZONTAL_SCROLL|Manager.HORIZONTAL_SCROLLBAR)

    but it's not working.

    4 I found this property: (position) horizontalFieldManager.setHorizontalScroll; that contains the parameterioo where the post is supposed to be the new horizontal scroll position. I tried passing the coordinate x of horizontal field Manager, but it does not work. I should pass as a parameter position?

    HorizontalFieldManager container = new HorizontalFieldManager()

    Need your valuable comments and suggestions. Please help me.

    I think that there is a bug in the sublayout (your HorizontalFieldManager 0 mode.  Given that the code did what I think WHAT HFM will do anyway, I recommend that you try to do this with a standard HFM, using this style:

    Manager.HORIZONTAL_SCROLL | Manager.HORIZONTAL_SCROLLBAR

    Let us know how you go.

    When I have more time I'll explain the bug, but if you want to investigate something, be aware that the maximum size that you can use in setExtent are the values that are passed to sublayout.  Compare the width as you try to define in setExtent whose width is increased.

  • Horizontal scroll bar (Possible Bug)

    Hello

    I'm working on a site and I encountered a strange bug that adds a horizontal scroll bar on my page, and I have no idea why. Although there are elements that are outside the page, the scroll bar appears way before they near the edge of the browser window. This happens in Chrome, Safari, and Firefox.

    What is very strange, it is trying to solve the problem, I deleted several items in my file of available to muse, and I found what was causing the problem. I have blue bars which act as headings for each section, and they are not 100% width (and I don't want them to be), and they were not off the page. However, once that I removed those, stopped scrolling bar so soon indicating when to reduce the window of the browser. I added bars, one by one and found that depending on where to place the vertical bar will have an impact on the horizontal scroll bar. This seems to happen whenever my bar is played below y: 1030. I've added screenshots to show this, and I can email my Muse of Adobe support file.

    Some of you will notice that I don't have an item that hangs off the page, and it's true, I do not think it affects the issue I'm having. When I remove the rectangles blue as described in the previous paragraph, the site is behaving as expected, even with my ribbon attached to the page. The blue rectangles, the scroll bar appears before the browser window meets the Blue Ribbon.

    I spent a lot of time looking for a solution and playing with the elements on my site and page properties, and I can not solve the problem. Just that there is no scroll bar until the window is actually lower on the page.

    Screenshots:

    Thank you for the great repro case. It has been exceptionally helpful.

    You have exposed a bug that has probably been there forever which requires only the right combination of objects on the page and off the left of the page in order to be triggered. Let's write a bug to study for a future version. Unfortunately, the next major release is due soon, so this bug will not be fixed in time for this release.  https://creativecloud.adobeevents.com/ccnext

    A solution (that probably seems arbitrary, but should work in all cases) is to group the blue box with any other object. Sorry for the confusion and inconvenience.

  • Why the horizontal scroll bar does not disappear when windows are maximized, but reappears when minimize?

    I'm a fool to the computer. I fix my car and I don't fix my computer. If there is no easy solution, I'll pay someone to do it for me. So, is there an easy way to retrieve my horizontal scroll bar? I've updated to the latest Firefox (35). I restored my computer to an earlier date when everything was ok. I downloaded another browser (Chrome) to see if that would fix it. Nothing has worked. The system I use is Windows 7 64 bit. I tried not to do anything, because this has led to big problems in the past. Suggestions, or I need to take the machine to my fix - it person?

    Thanks for any assistance yu might be able to provide.

    Bingo! You have reason, cor - el. Thank you.

    I never noticed this before. Sometimes (when I'm too lazy to get up and do my glasses or cannot find them) I just increase the size of the window.

    To me it seemed that the scroll bar was still there, and then it wasn't. Hours lost, but a lesson learned. I did not mention that I am a fool to the computer, I don't?

    Thank you!!!

  • X 1163 projector shows smaller than the computer screen image and creates the horizontal scroll bar

    I just bought an Acer X 1163 projector for use in presentations. I like the brightness, size and features. I am disappointed to make a PowerPoint slideshow, you need to buy another remote, but it is an easy fix.

    Here's what's really about me!

    When I pull a Web site or other things on my laptop for the presentation, it has a horizontal scroll bar and does not fit it on the screen. I tried different settings and who are seeking an answer online, but can't find what I can do to get the image to display without a horizontal scroll bar.

    I'm almost beginning to panic that I bought this for a large presentation I have to give next week. I hope it's one of those stupid questions with an easy answer.

    Thanks in advance for your help.

    My techy boyfriend just called. Here is the solution. (It kills me when someone has a question asked and more later said: "never mind, I figured it" and never says how do to the next person to come.)

    The question seems to be in the computer resolution setting and how it automatically resets when plugging n the projector. To resolve this problem (at least in windows 7) follow these steps:

    Right click on the desktop

    Click on display

    Click on change display settings

    Select the 1366 x 768 resolution

    It shows exactly what I'm looking for now on my computer.

    Thank you for having a forum to ask in all cases

    Horizontal scroll bar on web pages has disappeared.  How can I get that back?

    Check the right lower setting on IE - + 100% (can be defined below) - set if necessary.

    Also check the VIEW - ZOOM and VIEW - text size (the average is the default)

  • Scrolling past slideshows full screen

    Hello

    Is it possible to add a slide show full-screen upward to a site style totem? For the moment, it's the only thing visible when I add it to my home page. I guess that's the only option right now? Many sites use a similar feature, but you can scroll ahead of them in the rest of the content: http://urbaninfluence.com/

    Please tell me the exact section of the page that you are not able to achieve, the site you provided is feasible with Muse, you need only to use the slideshow accordingly and add content below the slideshow with scrolling movement applied.

    You can visit these sites that are created with similar Muse on the site you referred:

  • Horizontal scroll bar missing in Safari

    Hi people.

    Please check this web page using Safari:
    http://mollybrose.com/theStory.html

    Set the window of the restricted browser and note that no horizontal scroll bar appear even when the window is narrower than the content.

    This seems like a bug in Safari, or is there something wrong with the CSS?

    I'm using Safari 1.3.2 on OS 10.3.9

    Thanks for any help.

    {#wrapper}
    position: relative;
    Width: 800px;
    left: 50%;
    margin left:-400px;
    }

    Safari assume logically that the margin left under 400px, the scroll bar does not present
    until the wrapper is gone beyond the width of the browser by 400px.
    And that's what's happening: Dungeon - the narrowing of the browser window up to more than 400 PX are hidden
    the wrapper and the scroll bar will appear.

    You don't need these strange math to Center your content.
    You could do just

    {#wrapper}
    position: relative;
    Width: 800px;
    margin: 0 auto;
    }

                g.drawText(hint, 10, 10, 30, 250);
            }
            super.paint(g);
        }
    }

    Could you explain that again so I do not understand your problem.   It doesn't seem to be a code of development/unfocus in there?

    But before we do, there are a few problems with your code, you need to fix.

    In no particular order:

    (a) I painted the 'index' in the EditField, rather than in this area.  In this way it will appear when a user types rather than being anywhere where '10, 10' is on your property.

    (b) move this code:

    FontFamily fontFamily [] = FontFamily.getFontFamilies ();
    this.setFont (fontFamily [1] .getFont (FontFamily.SCALABLE_FONT, fntSize) .derive (Font.SIZE_MEDIUM, fntSize, Ui.UNITS_px));

    your routine painting and put it in sublayout.  This is the point that it is necessary.  Do in object means it is too often and is probably recursively called.

    As a result, you should be able to remove

    getManager () .invalidate ();

    any object and

    updateLayout();

    of setFont().

    (c) when you paint your index, derive the police every time that:

    FontFamily fontFamily [] = FontFamily.getFontFamilies ();
    net.rim.device.api.ui.Font fonts fontFamily = [(FontFamily.SCALABLE_FONT, fntSize) 1.getFont .derive (Font.SIZE_MEDIUM, fntSize, Ui.UNITS_px);]

    This is inefficient, you need only do this once and save a reference to it for use when you paint your index

    Do all these you will have a better field and maybe your problem will be solved.  But if not, then please explain your problem again with more details and repost your fixed code.

  • Horizontal Scrolling in AbsoluteFieldManager

    Hello

    I am trying to add several labels to an AbsoluteFieldManager as follows:

            final AbsoluteFieldManager man = new AbsoluteFieldManager();

            man.add(new LabelField("1", Field.FOCUSABLE), 20, 0);
            man.add(new LabelField("2", Field.FOCUSABLE), 30, 100);
            man.add(new LabelField("3", Field.FOCUSABLE), 0, 200);
            man.add(new LabelField("4", Field.FOCUSABLE), 0, 220);
            man.add(new LabelField("5", Field.FOCUSABLE), 150, 240);
            man.add(new LabelField("6", Field.FOCUSABLE), 300, 260);
            man.add(new LabelField("7", Field.FOCUSABLE), 300, 280);
            man.add(new LabelField("8", Field.FOCUSABLE), 300, 300);
            man.add(new LabelField("9", Field.FOCUSABLE), 300, 320);
            man.add(new LabelField("10", Field.FOCUSABLE), 350, 320);
            man.add(new LabelField("11", Field.FOCUSABLE), 400, 320);
            man.add(new LabelField("12", Field.FOCUSABLE), 450, 320);
            man.add(new LabelField("13", Field.FOCUSABLE), 500, 320);
            man.add(new LabelField("14", Field.FOCUSABLE), 550, 320);
            man.add(new LabelField("15", Field.FOCUSABLE), 600, 320);
            this.add(man);

    When I move on the trackpad, the next label Gets the focus. This works well in the direction y. All labels with Label '12' are visible. When I try to get the focus to the next label, '12' Label loses focus. '13' label now has the development in-house, but it is not visible and no scrolling happens. Ditto for the "14" and "15". It is easy to notice, the focus moves to the 14 and 15, because it takes a lot of movement on the trackpad to return to 12. But why the AbsoluteFieldManager scrolls at 13, 14 and 15 to make them visible?

    I also tried to add the AbsoluteFieldManager to a HorizontalScreenManager that has vertical and horizontal scrolling. Then, it is even possible to scroll, but not yet all of the labels are visible.

    Is that what I can do to make it possible that the AbsoluteFieldManager scrolls auotmatically once a field outside of the visible area Gets the focus?

    Thank you

    Hello

    Finally, I made my own AbsoluteFieldManager. It works really well. You can position your fields anywhere and just highlight the field you want. I also substitute nextFocus() which now moves according to the movement of pad/trackball. I think it is fairly intuitive and not according to the order of the fields. You can also use it on Blackberry OS prior to 5, where AbsoluteFieldManager is not supported.

    This thread helped me a lot:

  • How to create a horizontal scroll bar for interactive report region?

    Hello

    I use APEX 4.2.5.00.08 and created interactive reports that contain many columns. However when viewing the results of the report, due to the large number of columns report/table data is outside of the region and a horizontal scroll bar appears in the window of my main browser. This seems not very good from the point of view of the customer/end user and I was wondering if it is possible the size of declare the region according to a specific size and have a scroll bar horizontal that it contains, so that users can view the rest of the report columns using the scroll instead bar rather than do what he done right now and go to the screen and having to use the main browsers horizontal scroll bar at the bottom.

    I tried on IE8, Chrome and Firefox 27.0.1 and get the same result. I tried to follow the ideas in this thread, in interactive report horizontal scroll bar, but nothing is.

    You have ideas on how I can get around this please?

    Concerning

    Hi user10248308

    Try this

    Step 1:-modify the interactive report

    Step 2:-under defination region-> header area

    put

    Step 3:-under area Defination-> foot of the region

    put

    Please come back if this is not yet resolved.

  • disable horizontal scrolling

    After trying to install a couple of new widgets that I have since disabled, my pages are scrolling off center when you use the buttons that are related to the anchor points. Here is a page that exposes the problem:

    CONTACT

    If you press the 'connect' button below the contact form, you will see that it scrolls down and to the right. Here's the code I used before to prevent what seems to no longer work:

    HTML, body {overflow-x: hidden ;}}       This will hide the horizontal scroll bar, to hide the vertical scroll bar {overflow-y: hidden}; to hide all the scrollbar {overflow: hidden ;}}

    Anyone know how I can fix these buttons so that the images don't scroll horizontally?

    This could be due to the image of the card that you have on the page.

    I would try a test without the image of the map to see if it solves the problem.

    As a note of design, I don't think you really need this anchor.

    The information that you want your user to be fairly close to the form, I propose just that the graphics below upwards a little.

    A simple scrolling to the bottom of the page will get the user as easily.
