my unlocked 4S 7.1.2 is running but has no Siri. How he do it on this phone?

I have a recently unlocked 4S. It is currently running 7.1.2. model: MC318LL/A.

I looked through all the settings and can find no trace of Siri.

Is this capable phone and how do I add Siri to it?

Yes, the 4 supports Siri and it would be normal is part of the installation of iOS on any supported device.  It is not a separate installation option or app. However, iPhones sold in some countries in the Middle East are required by local laws for sale with Siri handicapped for life.

  • Firefox error message is already running but is not responding"- how to fix

I don't know where to post this. But after trying everything from this site, I came to my own difficulty.

This stopped the bad closure of the problem in Firefox [please forgive my lack of computer terms]

    1. 1 Firefox uninstalled and reinstalled and it still not has not correctly restart
    2. 2 Start menu [% APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\] and delete all the files in firefox
    3. Firefox 3 uninstalled and reinstalled again
    4. 4 start [firefox.exe - p] menu and deleting profile information and created a new profile
    5. 5 open Firefox right click for the Menu bar
    6. 6. Select Tools

First off I change my home page and I unchecked all tab buttons [I don't like tabs]

    1. Privacy 7 tab

Check-[say I have no desire to be the subject of a monitoring of the sites] [may be optional]
Check-[don't forget history never] * and restarted firefox
Location Bar - check - or selection-[nothing] [may be optional]
    and then you click ok

Then I tried again my old setting [to use the custom settings for history]
When I changed him [never remember history] to [use the custom settings for history] and restarted firefox.

I attempted to try this and all the restart problems popped up again

    Note Please
It could not be canceled. Attempt to change [use the custom settings for history] to [do not forget history never] would not correct the problem of blocking, so I had to start all over again from the beginning. And that worked.

I have lost my favorites in reset, but I'll live with it!

I restarted 20Fois without a failure where it was two or three times. Thus, it seems to work now.
Sorry for my wrong message above capacity. As I get older my attention to detail seems to fall a little.

On top of that it is.
I started on page [options] and with each page that I changed, I clicked Yes and closed. Then checked for a reply in Firefox.
Everything worked fine until I got to the Privacy tab.

Yet once again, I'm sorry for my crappy writing.
Maybe you smart people can find a way to solve this problem, without loss of data.

    Good luck gwinslo

    Thanks for your reply FredMcD

My post above was a good solution for me. With no other closing issues.
I took my dose with a reinstall of my Bookmarks, etc. of my Norton Back up.
Everything seems to have been fixed, with over 35 restarts so far this afternoon.

    Thanks for all the info.

    Hi GrandmawT,

You can check on the physical connection and try to connect again. Make sure that all cables and cards are correctly connected.

You can also check if the monitor works on another computer.

You can also check out the following link and check:

I had a computer scientist to try everything, and we cannot on it to open it.

Search the firefox process firefox.exe and kill him with for example the Task Manager. It is also worth watching for the plugincontainer.exe.

I'm buying a new MacBook to replace my mid-2010 MacBook Pro 2.4 GHz Intel core 2 duo, 4 GB of memory, which always runs, but becomes slow.   I don't think I need retina display (if I have a lot of photos and films on the subject), but I was told that the MacBook Pro without screen retina was an old system that Apple could not support much longer. Is this true?

but I was told that the MacBook Pro without screen retina was an old system that Apple could not support much longer. Is this true?

Apple only can answer such a question, and the terms of use for these forums discourage us discuss what Apple plans to do.

I too have a MBP 2010.  I installed an SSD and that increased performance.  Consider that as an option.

You may experience other problems that slows down your MBP.  Before commit you the important cash for a new MBP, examine the potential software problems that may be responsible for the poor performance.  With the SSD, my 2010 works better than the day he came out of the box.

    Ciao.

  • Why Firefox run/open to all, any how I try to start, after being updated to v41.0.1?

After the update for Firefox 41.0.1, yesterday I'm not able to start or open Firefox. My operating system is Windows XP. I have received no error messages and have no reason to think that the update failed. I scanned my computer several times and have no reason to think that I have no viruses/malware/etc... All other browsers are functioning normally and my computer does not have other symptoms that I noticed.

A window saying that Firefox would be updated after its restart or the next time I opened it, and I shortly thereafter turned off my computer. When I turned it back on and tried to start Firefox, nothing happened. I tried to open it via the Run..., by clicking the shortcut on the desktop, by going to the Firefox folder and try to start from there, and every other way that has been suggested by several pages here. Nothing works. No matter what I do, the Task Manager shows never firefox.exe is running. As a result, I couldn't try all alternatives that rely on my being able to use Firefox in some way. However, I tried all the other suggestions. Nothing has worked. I can not yet use the Profile Manager; When I try, nothing happens. Like most pages sternly warn me that reinstall or downgrade Firefox will either do nothing, or be dangerous, that I have no idea what else to try. I suppose that, at this stage, that means probably I'm missing something obvious, but I still have no idea what I might be missing.

Thank you very much in advance for your help! It is GREATLY appreciated.

Hi, take a look at this first - Firefox does not start - solutions, but if anything can help, it may be that this can be resolved by performing a clean reinstall. This means that you delete your Firefox program files, and then reinstall Firefox. This process does not delete your Firefox profile (such as bookmarks and passwords) data, since this information is stored in a different location.

To do a clean reinstall of Firefox, follow these steps: Note: you can print these steps or consult them in another browser.

    1. Download the latest version of Firefox from mozilla.org office (or choose the download for your operating system and language on this page) and save the file to install it on your computer.
    2. Once the download is complete, close all Firefox Windows (or open the Firefox menu

      Click the close button

    ).

  • Remove the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:
    • Windows:

      • C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
      • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla Firefox
    • Mac: Delete Firefox in the Applications folder.
    • Linux: If you have installed Firefox with the distribution-based package manager, you must use the same way to uninstall: see Install Firefox on Linux. If you have downloaded and installed the binary package from the Firefox download page, simply remove the folder firefox in your home directory.
  • Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
    1. Double-click on the downloaded Setup file and go through the steps in the installation wizard.
    2. Once the wizard is completed, click to open Firefox directly after clicking the Finish button.
  • More information on the resettlement of Firefox can be found here.

WARNING: Do not use an uninstaller to third parties as part of this process. This could permanently delete your Firefox profile data, including but not limited to, extensions, cache, cookies, bookmarks, personal settings and passwords saved. They can be retrieved easily unless they have been backed up on an external device! See back up and restore the information contained in the profiles of Firefox.

Please report to say if this helped you!

    Thank you.

  • Firefox is already running but is not responding. The old process of Firefox must be closed to open a new window.

When I try to open Firefox, I get this message:
"Firefox is already running but is not responding. The old process of Firefox must be closed to open a new window. »
I then clicked close firefox, but the problem was solved not so I uninstalled and reinstalled firefox, but it's the same thing.
At this point, I went to support Mozilla and tried the steps described in the article, "Firefox is already running but is not responsible for - How to fix error message", but the firefox.exe process was not in the processes tab in windows Task Manager. While he was in the Details tab, when I tried to put an end to the process, I received this message:

"The operation could not be completed. Access is denied. "

What can I do to fix this?

    Thank you.

Usually when you stop and restart Windows, Firefox is not running and can be started normally.

Firefox is set to start automatically with Windows? Microsoft has a utility to investigate what is set to happen at startup: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx

It is possible that something is triggering a process in your default browser and it is the hanging of Firefox. You can try to change your default browser to IE (IE can offer to do when you start) before the shutdown and restart Windows to see if it makes a difference.

You are able to start Firefox in Safe Mode or start the Profile Manager?

    (1) safe Mode

It is a standard diagnostic tool to disable some advanced features of Firefox and extensions. More info: questions to troubleshoot Firefox in Safe Mode.

You can start Firefox in Safe Mode by holding down the SHIFT key when you start Firefox. (If you get directly in a new window, you must exit all Firefox Windows first).

A small dialog box should appear. Click on 'Start mode safe' (not reset).

    It will start?

    (2) the Profile Manager

This assumes that firefox.exe is not running.

Start in Manager profiles using Start > Search box (or run):

    firefox.exe -P

When you get the Profile Manager window, do not delete anything!

No matter what time you want to switch profiles, you exit Firefox and return to this dialog box.

If you select your default profile and click Start, Firefox start?

  • I uninstalled Firefox on my computer, then I reinstalled and tried to run, but this message appeared, "failed to load your Firefox profile,"

I uninstalled Firefox on my computer, then I reinstalled and tried to run, but this message appeared, "failed to load your Firefox profile. It may be missing or inaccessible"and Firefox does not open.

I tried press windows key + R on my computer and open %appdata%\Mozilla\ - and rename the folder labeled "Firefox", but he said that "the action cannot be complete because the folder or the file that is open in another program" I didn't open it and try to restart the pc, but still no help

A likely cause is a problem with the file profiles.ini and the profile marked as the default value = 1 in this file is no longer present on the hard drive.

    • Windows: %AppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\
      C:\Users\ < user > < profile > \AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\.
    • Linux: ~/.mozilla/firefox/
    • Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Firefox /.

You can use one of them to make the Creation/use of a new default profile for Firefox:

    • Remove the profiles.ini file to force Firefox to create a new default profile
    • Use the Profile Manager to create a new profile
    • Use "Choose a folder" when you create a new profile to select the location of a lost profile and recover this profile

  • Firefox is already running but is not

I started my computer and I tried to open firefox but a windows appears and say Firefox is already running, but does not. To open a new window, you must close the existing windows, and try again.

The problem is that he is not running. I opened my task manager and there are no programs running, I have check the processes running and nothing to do with Mozilla firefox is here. How can it already be running if it is not open?

I actually fixed. I was looking for in c:\users/myname/appdata/local/mozilla/firefox/profiles

  • Firefox is already running but is not responding? Simple answers don't seem to work

I started Firefox earlier today and received a message about a problem with Firefox and he had to be reset. Because the other option seemed worse than the reset, and Firefox Reseting seemed relatively painless, I clicked OK. A short message popped up on the registration of passwords, bookmarks, etc. with success. Then a small window pops up, saying it was cleaning of Firefox. While the process seemed to freeze. I liquidated it, killed at any process of firefox running and attempted to restart Firefox, when I received the message "Firefox is already running, but does not." There is a folder on my desktop labeled 'old Firefox data' which I assume is from Firefox reset (it is also now a copy of the profile on my desk, just in case).

    https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/KB/Firefox-already-running-not-responding

I found this and tried to work through it, but it doesn't seem to help.

    (1) Ther' are no Firefox.exe in my task manager, nor is there a process plugin-container.

    (2) I deleted the file "parent.lock" in both the profile (which is just a bunch of jumbled letters and numbers with 'default' in it) and the record of the old Firefox. However, these files were just "parent.lock" not "parent.lock.parentlock".

    (3) did not change the name on it, so unless the reset did before she locked herself, I don't know what to change it to.

    (4) it is not a file share, so...

    (5) this could be a possibility. The folder of Firefox that my profile is 'Read only' is, but I can't not to change cela. Everytime I go in, turn off the 'Read only' option and tell him to propagate the change through subfolders, it seems to work, but when I check the properties 10 seconds later, 'Read Only' is checked again.

Sounds that the profiles.ini was corrupted when you remove the old default profile and adding the new profile.

You can have security software that preventing to change the Firefox file.

You use the Profile Manager to restore an existing profile or create a new profile.

A "Reset" creates a new default profile with a timestamp attached and is trying to import some settings of the old profile, leaving the old profile intact, including the (invalid) cache folder (topic: cache) can take up to 1 GB.

Versions of Firefox 15 + will move the old profile folder "old Firefox Data-#" folder on the desktop that gets a figure if you use reset several times, so you can no longer use the Profile Manager to return to the old profile.

    Hello

Please note that the precise way of closing of Firefox's file (Alt + F) > exit and would usually take a few seconds depending on the history of the parameters of compensation to Tools (Alt + T) > Options > Privacy > settings next to clear history of Firefox closing.
