I get "driver software for your Palm Treo 680". My phone is a centro (I use a palm Treo 680 USB cord, but it worked on my last computer). It is said, insert the floppy disk provided with your phone, but the disk is not moving the problem at all. Any suggestions?

  What version of Vista?  32-bit or 64-bit?

  If 64-bit, you cannot synchronize via a cable.   There are number of threads of instruction at the top of this section relating to synchronization with Vista64.  One possible way is via BlueTooth or Infra-red...

  You will need to:

  1. install Palm Desktop 6.2.2 (search for one of Wyrenut sons, where he links to it, a recent reshuffle of the forums by HP removed the stickied thread that kept the top of this forum where it was easy to see);
  2. Install the Aceeca 64 bit drivers (also doing a search here for synchronization with windows 64-bit); and
  3. install PalmHotsyncSetup of www.pimlicosoftware.com , which should make your M500 more compatible with the latest Palm Desktop.

  I got my Clie TH-55(Palm OS 5.2.1) for some time now, say 2 years, but recently, I made the switch to Vista (not by choice, I got a new laptop for free). I had been synchronize my CLIÉ Palm Desktop and so when I got my new laptop, I went and download desktop 4.1.4e in the hopes that I could continue the sync on vista. The installation went well, it is, I can do a hot sync but none of my data transfers. If I create a new contact on my handheld, it will not be displayed on the desktop and even vice versa. When I check the hot sync log, it says that there are no errors. I didn't know if I should go to the forums of Palm or Clie forums so I apologize if this is no longer a Clie problem which should be in the forums of clie. Thanks in advance...

  I found the problem, it had to do with the running of the Office to palm as an administrator. Once that I thought that was the problem, I put it to always run as administrator.

  Make sure that in the synchronization page, you use the sync option in the left corner at the top left of the page.

  The wizard will help you configure your applications. This is why there is no application does not appear.

  Recently, we have made a number of hardware upgrades on our computer and installed Windows 7 and Office 2010 about 3 weeks ago (no updates full versions). I was unable to sync my BB since then and after reading through the discussion forums have discovered that I am not alone. I downloaded the latest update of the BB which I understand would make my BB and compatible Office.

  I don't know if the problems are related to the office is not compatible and BB or if there is another problem with my computer. This is what I did and meets:

  -downloaded the version of BB 6.0.0.43 update; BB would not recognize Outlook, when I tried to organize my Contacts and address book. I tried to fix it and then uninstall then reinstall this update several times.

  -abandoned and downloaded CompanionLink; Message received error "Click-to-run Outlook has no ability to the API. You must install Outlook on your computer for synchronization. I asked for assistance from CompanionLink, but continue to have no chance. The link 'Add-Ins' in my BB Desktop Software was available when I first downloaded CompanionLink, but has now disappeared and I don't know how to get it back. I tried to fix the update of BB to see if it would solve it.

  -in the BB Desktop Software Applications tab, she says BB 5.0.0 software version 5.0.0 system and Core Application Version 5.0.0. are necessary, but it does not give me the option to install it. I thought that the updated version replaced 6.0.0.43 version 5.0.0. I don't know if this is true or if it is important.

  I found a solution to this problem.

  FYI - Blackberry cannot synchronize with Outlook if Outlook is in mode "click to run. Follow the link below to get instructions on how to install a full version of Office 2010.

  I'm trying to sync my bold 9700 with Outlook 2010 calendar & contacts.  When I start with the configuration, I can select outlook as an application of office available, but once I selected it and a two-way synchronization - then immediately, I get a message saying "the operation ended unexpectedly.  I tried to restart my cpu and the blackberry, but it does not help.  Does anyone know how to get around this problem?

I can sync with Yahoo, but when I want to synchronize with Outlook Express (the one I want to use), I get an error message. When I try to sync DM compares my contacts to Outlook contacts and tells my there are two changes to be made. I agree with the changes, and then this error message is displayed "connector specific error". This happens when I synchronize using USB or Bluetooth. Please help me!

  Note the two contacts, and delete them entirely, then sync, then enter again. Paper rocks.

  It gave me a new BlackBerry "BOLD" device to replace a defective. I did a sync with my outlook, contacts etc. calendar so all the information was up-to-date and then backed up all my data from the original handset. I then successfully restored all of this data to the new remote control.

  Since I was not able to properly synchronize my phone with outlook. the blackberry desktop manager no longer link the contacts in outlook with the correct contacts on the handset.   If you have the data synchronized in Outlook as a backup, you will be ok. You can also use the backup and restore utility to perform another backup of the databases on the device.

  If you delete this folder, you will lose any information on the BlackBerry or Outlook. Start with the Desktop Manager closed before deleting this file. After that you remove it, connect the BlackBerry to your computer, then open the Desktop Manager.

  From the Desktop Manager 4.3, I think, the icon you would go in to reconfigure the settins would sync | Synchronize

  I tried reset soft and hard, upgraded to SW 2.12 ROW, Palm Desktop 6.2.2 and also uninstalled and reinstalled Palm Desktop.

  Any ideas?

  Hello BusterGonad and welcome to Palm forums.

  Take a look at this Palm article for some good troubleshooting tips.  You can also download and install the free version of DBFixIt to check and see if there is no record of calendar damaged on your Treo.

  If none of those who work, you can also try to create a new calendar in Outlook and the configuration of the conduct of Outlook calendar to sync with the new calendar to see if the problem is in the perspective. PST file.

  I hardly manage to sync my outlook 2003 calendar and address of my blackberry curve.  When I use the 4.7 deskmanager it does give me an option for outlook 2003, only of outlook express which I don't use.  I spent 2 hours on customer support and they were not able to understand.  Any help would be greatly appreiciated.
