  I just bought a new Ipad mini and I installed Skype on it, but the video does not. The sound works on Skype, but when I call someone, he said only: "video initialization" and the video never connects. I am able to speak with them, but they can't see me. My video webcam works on my ipad mini, but not on the Skype program.

  Just to add to Robo,

  Solution was to activate Facetime on Ipad first, then out in the application.

  This has enabled voice and video calls via Skype.

• video iPad pro has stopped playing after update 9.2

  Since the 9.2 update any video on my iPad pro willl not play. I first noticed this after making a video and trying to read. There is a long pause, maybe 2 minutes and then you can hear the sound of the video but the screen remains black. Then I tried to pay for a video on amazon (video demo of a product) and it will show no video but after a long break, I can hear what he says.

  Then I tried youtube and the same result, without video, only the sound after a long break.

  I had no problem with the iPad before this update happened a few days ago. I rebooted but still reset the iPad again.

  Any suggestions, what could be wrong and how to fix it?

  -Safari (try watching YouTube videos)

  -YouTube (installed later to check if it's a Safari specific issue)

  -Vimeo

  -Podcast

  -Photos (video I shoot and could watch on my iPhone)

  -FaceTime

  -Skype

  Not even a cinematic inside a game app I was playing yesterday... I'm not sure to try a beta version as a solution, especially if I can't find the data confirming the beta solves this problem.

  One of my clients will soon two printerd clouds in the same House, one will be ePrint, probably other enabled AirPrint.   If the printers and the Apple device has been implemented on the same network; It must list all of the printers that are capable of Airprint when you want to print something. For example, if you print a photo that you selected from the Gallery, after you press the action button () and select print, it will automatically be the last printer you used, stored as the printer to send the picture to. However, an arrow (>) to the right of this printer you can type. Once you press the arrow, it will offer you a list of all available printers on your network, you can choose to send the print job.   I'm having a problem trying to get this laptop at the video output to the HDMI port mode DOUBLE.  In DOUBLE mode the frame buffer should be displayed on the screen of the computer AND it should display the video on the HDMI port, so it can be seen on a HD TV, and al.  What is strange, is that EXTEND and PROJECTOR ONLY modes work that proves the cable, HDTV, and the video port on the laptop works properly in these modes.  However, duplicate video mode is displayed on the screen of the laptop and no video out the HDMI port.  I know because the HDTV screen is empty with the exception that the HDTV displays the message "No Signal".  I have the latest firmware and installed video drivers.  Anyone who has an idea of what's going on?

  I think that I found the solution to the question that I had.  The problem seems to be that the laptop seems to be driving the HDMI output on HDTV with a resolution of 1600 x 900.  This causes the HDTV to not be able to synchronize the signal from the laptop.  As HDTV does not recognize the resolution, the screen on it is empty.  However, even though mode DOUBLE, if you change the resolution of 1366 x 768 laptop, then the laptop and HDTV display video.  Curiously, although the HDTV can manage resolution up to 1920 x 1080 it is impossible to view the output of the laptop when it is set to 1600 x 900 mode DOUBLE.  If the PROJECTOR ONLY mode HDTV work very well in resolution 1920 x 1080.  In addition, when mode EXTENSION the laptop and the extended secondary display can be set to a resolution of 1600 x 900.

  I have a Photosmart 5520 printer and an iPad 3G - without any other hardware or WiFi network or

  router in the House. Printing from iPad for the 5520 direct wireless works well.

  My question is if I can scan from the 5520 to the iPad? Reflected in the HP ePrint app for directions

• Newbie: Recording on iPad, editing and saving as Quicktime

  Hi guys

  Apologies for a very basic question, but there is SO many details I've lost sight in the trees...

  • I recorded it on my iPad Mini clips.
  • I want to change them on a PC and not lose quality.
  • I want and then save it as a Quicktime file and also in YouTube format format
  1. Is it advised to save the original videos in a different top quality format first - before that I have to change?
  2. If so, what settings should I use using the "save under" formats to keep this higher quality during my editing?
  3. What that export settings should I use when the final to QuickTime file that can be used by the Mac and the PC?
  4. I am based in the United Kingdom. Does make a difference to the settings in the "save under" the installation of the file types (because I want them to work in the US as well)?

  I assume you are using version 11. This is the only version that will edit video iPad. And I assume that you have installed the latest version of Quicktime, by the requirements of the program.

  If you use tools of Premiere Elements' add media to get video from your iPad to your computer, version 11 will automatically implement your project to match your video, so you will get the best possible quality.

  To get the best quality for YouTube, use the Publish & share/computer/AVCHD and select the preset for YouTube HD the menu drop-down. It is also an excellent framework for recording your video for playback on a Mac and PC.

  There is no need to register anything at "higher quality" format. You cannot add what is not there. Just use the right workflow and everything will be fine.

  In the meantime, don't forget to check out my basic training tutorials 8 share free so you'll have that a basic understanding of moves to add media in and out of your videos.

• Video loop in a MovieClip

  I have a video imported, converted to a MovieClip, while I am able to do the mouse events, etc. dragging him.

  If this is the option you selected when you imported it, then you must assign a name to the FLVPlayback component instance in the MovieClip and the MovieClip as well.  Use them to assign an event listener for the flv player detect when it's done playing so you can start playing again.

• AirPlay expose works such as extended display but will not itunes library flow

  On a MBP and can use my apple TV as office extended, but if I try to stream a video from my iTunes library I get an error message saying: the network connection has expired. That happen all the time and sometimes it works perfectly, sometimes may take 3 or 4 attempts to disseminate and sometimes it is not matter what I do (including Apple TV restarting, MBP etc.) it will not work. Even when it does not work, I can use the air game screen to show my desktop etc on the TV via Apple TV, and I can also just mirror my phone or my ipad at any time without any problem. All software are up to date on my MBP and Apple TV. Everything starts to get really annoying when trying to watch videos at home etc and not be able to. One is able to offer a solution?

  Looks like you're using Airplay and trying to play iTunes content and watch via Airplay.

  If so, you would be better using the part of the House and streaming videos like this.  It uses the buffering and is less than half a load on your network.

  Using Airplay does not tax these as your network and buffer.
