Please check that the type of the CreatedBy attribute is a number representing the id in FND_USER and not the actual text of the name of the user. Standard Oracle columns that use a number for this value not varchar.

Added the following line to the file Extended Entity Object.xml
"DefClass ="oracle.apps.fnd.framework.server.OAEntityDefImpl"xx.oracle.apps"below the RowClass ="... "package line.

This solved my error, but I can't do it this way is fair or unfair suggestions.

I understand, but I couldnot restoration l datafile by rman restore command coz base not at the stage of editing!

Appear you are not using the rman backup catalog and controlfile to help register rman backup.
in this case if you recreate the controlfile to way you will lose all your information backup of controlfile.
better restore controlfile from piece of backup or AutoSave. as restore controlfile from ""

Previously, I tried to apply a patch. During the process, there was a network error.
I tried to reapply the patch by using this command: = phase prepare, apply, finalize, commissioning, clean jobs = restart 18620668 = yes

Thanks for your replies. I solved this problem by referring to the document and steps as breakfast by Oracle Support:

Search for 0) locked sessions

Select * from ad_adop_sessions where EDITION_NAME = "LOCK."

(1) ad_adop_sessions backup:

create the table ad_adop_sessions_bkp in select * from ad_adop_sessions;

delete from ad_adop_sessions where adop_session_id = and EDITION_NAME = "LOCK."

Ugh, help, stayed in it for hours! I messed up my oracle dbconsole, and now service dbconsole itself disappeared! (I checked services.msc on my windows xp pro) I'm on oracle 11 g 2

Need help: error creating record

Hi refugees,
Gud morning...
I get this error during the creation of the new record twice (for the first record, it works fine...)
As master details page, I am Manager differently which... first of all I save the details of masters and while saving the level of detail, I will assingn the id of the header to the attribute display... when I create the first new record and save it works fine... but when I try to create a record more it shows error... This is the code... AMImpl
It is showing the error in the createRecord() method only... it runs until the row.setNewRowState (Row.STATUS_INITIALIZED) after that only it is throwing error (assigning values for the attributes of display...) But for the first record it works fine...
Please... give your valuable suggestions...

I work with MRS 4.1 and trying to customizations ip configuration for my virtual machines guests on the recovering site (approx. 100 guests). I've updated the CSV (generated from the order of Dr. - ip - customizer.exe) with all the necessary network information. But when I try and upload it to my site SRM recovery server, I get the following error:
Error on line number '17': the number of columns specified is incorrect.
Is the command I use to download: Dr. - ip - customizer.exe - cfg... create csv - c:\srmip.csv - cmd \config\vmware-Dr.xml
I found that if I change the csv file so that it contains 16 lines or less it downloads very well. I have not read on any limitation of the number of rows in the csv file might contain so I think that there is a configuration that causes this behavior, but I can't figure out what that/where it is. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

something is wrong with your file formatting. A look at the image as an attachment. From the server6 (line 17) do not have the lines "," (comma) at the end of the line (and so less columns):

If I take your file and then open in Excel and save it without changing anything, all lines have ',' (comma).

Probably something wrong with the way in which you save the files (Excel throws several warnings when you try to save the file in the csv format, you have to press 'Yes').

in my page created
1 item LOV (itemid: VendorName)
2. value of form (itemid: vendorId)
Mapping now defined as below

Mapping1:
LOV box item: VendorNameLOV (this is the region LOV itemId)
Goods return: VendorName (Base page itemId)
Point of criteria: VendorName (Base page itemId)
Mapping2:
LOV box item: VendorIdLOV (this is the region LOV itemId)
Goods return: vendorId (Base page itemId)

The question is what criteria of search, I entered it is taking that and comparing with vendorid and why it is any mistake out. Ideally it should compare everything I get the LOV point against VendorName. Please note that if I change the map to:

By default, lov input element ID is set as a criteria for LOV of entry point.

For others where you simply return values, you must specify the critirea item property that you

Dear all,

I'm in a strange problem to connect to the database between the RAC and single Instance database. The two databases are 11 GR 2 and on Linux platform.

On a database that is CARS, my settings are as follows:

view the global_names parameter.
Value = TRUE

Select Rename global_name;
RACDB. DOMAIN.COM

Although I ran the race:
ALTER DATABASE RENAME GLOBAL_NAME to RACDB and bounce the database after this command, but still it shows RACDB. DOMAIN.COM

When I see the db_domain parameter
Value = (NULL)

tnsnames.ora is

GGBKP =
(DESCRIPTION =
(ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP) (HOST = 192.168.20.182)(PORT = 1521))
(CONNECT_DATA = (SERVICE_NAME = GGBKP))
)

On the other server, my settings are as follows:

Probably that does not help.
The problem is on the server 1, Server 2 is OK and works as expected.
For some strange reason, server 1 still picks up "domain.com".

At this point, I would probably question sys.props$ (where it is stored) or consult the global_names view definition.
I would not immediately update sys.props$ with the correct value.

I would also like to run lsnrctl services: if properly configured global_name and service_name in lsnrctl match.
