  Hi amireos,

  Yes, you can create your workflow where you can keep all your images on the external hard drive and the Lightroom catalog file as well.

  If you start with Lightroom and then use the Destination location as external hard drive when you import your image of the external source such as a camera or SD.

  If you already have your Images on the Mac HD drive, then play all your Image on the external hard drive first and then import images directly from there.

  Finally, you can change the location of the Lightroom Catalog as well.

  Default location: folder on the Mac Drive HD, there is folder called Lightroom that you can move on the external drive too (however catalog Lightroom can't memory space as its only import previews of the images is not the real image and full)

  Once you move the file catalog Lightroom external hard disk, then you need to browse the catalog file when you launch Lightroom only once.

  You can resize the Partition C: (to hot) and make the logical drives that it contains. You can not do more primary readers. There is a limit of four primary disks in a Windows operating system. The new logical drives will not be bootable.

  Be informed:

  When you change the original partition scheme, you lose the ability to access the recovery with the F11 key Manager to recover your operating system.

  A better option is to buy a second hard drive. Back up the data on your hard drive of origin so you can put it on the new.  Remove the original hard disk and perform a system restore using the recovery on the new hard disk media. With the original hard drive set aside in a safe place, you can still recover your laptop by removing the new hard disk and putting the old one back in its place. The method F11 to call the Recovery Manager will be available on the new hard drive. The original of your laptop hard drive is a SATA 2.5 "laptop that is 9.5 mm in height. If you consider a larger drive 500 GB carefully observe to the height. A 12.5 mm could not fit into the Bay.

  (e) click the power management tab.

  Okay, I think that I fixed it.  I went in the Sys Config, Start Up and unchecked "common SDK-Sonic Solutions/Roxio."  Also not controlled all the other stuff video I don't need at start-up. I then restarted it, of course.  It has been a few hours now and no window flashing.  Roxio is a nice program, but has been a problem on my computer. By auto-off starting this program, it seems to have solved the problem.
