  My work computer is in a domain.  I am running Windows XP Pro SP3.  Due to the large size of the 'My pictures' folder I redirected it to on of my local readers rather than let him lie on our server (Windows 2003 SBS).  I also redirected "My music" folder on a local drive and the 'My Favorites' folder on the server where the "My Documents" folder is also.  It works very well without any problem, most of the time.  In some way, some, but not all, windows updates will change the location of the "My pictures" folder on the server.  When this happens, I know that as soon as I login after the reboot because it will take about an hour before the computer can be used.  The reason for this is that the folder is moved (not copied) on the server with a connection to ethernet 100 base-T.  My another stay of redirected folders where they are supposed to be, just the 'My pictures' folder is moved.  I tried to find all the registry entries that have to do with the location of this folder and found only two, those who originally, I changed to redirect the folder in the first place.  This has happened for the 4th time, when I greeted Windows Update to install the latest updates last night (13/02/13).  It becomes very boring and time would trust because I have to put the folder on the local drive and reset the folder redirection and the whole process takes about an hour, plus time lost after reboot.  Help please.

  If you are unable or refuse to do it (not recommended), you will need to use NTpasswd to change the password for the local administrator to white. Then connect and separate the machine from the network. Create a new user account for yourself and remove any domain user profile. This will not remove policy group that are tattooed and m ost companies also set a default restrictive profile so if that was the case in your user accounts new cases will also be limited.

  Download the bootable CD .iso image file, burn with third-party burning software such as free ImgBurn , Nero or Roxio. Burn as an image, not in the form of data. Start with the media that you have created. You need to maybe change the boot order in the BIOS or obtain a menu of boot command temporary with the pressure of a special key. NTpasswd will run. Follow the instructions carefully.

  I have a reasonable understanding of the management of the site, but I just changed a bunch of files to replace a letter uppecase with a tiny e.g. MyFile.jpg myfile.jpg and DW fails on the server.

  I ended canging my filenames, folder synchronization, delete duplicates directly on the server and then uploadin the HTML page the images link to.  Seemed away from doing things with regard to the way DW manages everything?

  Hi, Martin, as they say, "the lazy man takes the biggest pain."

  If you have not changed anything else on the images or the files in question, you can change the name...... rename the files directly on the server.

  It's your call, either easier or harder than my process in several steps. I like the idea of not playing with the names individually on the server, because you can always make a typing mistake; as well, your files on the server will always refer to the images with the old names...

  We have used to wish Roma for real for our computer applications, where ROM = 'read Mind'. But we probably not here, either!

  HI - we are trying to install the beta version (18) on a Windows 8 machine for one of our customers.  But, the update of Windows does not allow that to happen.  We changed the approach of updating to do not have the automatic updates.  But that does not solve the problem.  Any help is appreciated!  I guess it's a pretty easy fix, but unfortunately I'm not Windows savvy these days.

  Oh, it's not good advice.  Uninstall the last update to Flash will not remove Flash of the system, and it will leave you with a vulnerable version, the Senior Flash Player.  Install the player ActiveX for Win7 won't upgrade Flash Player component built into Internet Explorer, then the user will be still stuck with an outdated version and no beta version until they run windows update again.

  We distribute a beta version for Internet Explorer on Windows 8 and over all because we do not have this distribution channel (it's the same reason that we do not have a beta of Chrome), and the binary of Win8 differ from those we publish for Windows 7.  There is no effective way to do at the moment.

  We talk to Microsoft to provide a mechanism for the distribution of beta versions and releases of extended support of Flash Player in Win8 + users, but these vehicles of distribution would have to come directly from Microsoft and we always talk just to this topic, so there is no solution in the short term.

  If you want to evaluate beta versions on Win8 + you look essentially NPAPI on Firefox or PPAPI on the opera.

  Looks like the tutorial showing how to use a transparency mask. A transparency mask is always black, white and shades of gray. If your equipment has a fill color, using the opacity mask will give you different shades of this fill color, according to the lights and shadows of the mask itself.

  It sounds like what you really want is a clipping mask. You need the shape of the craft and a texture that you want to use for DS:

  You don't "add" fonts with InDesign, you install the fonts in your system, or if you want to see the police only in InDesign and not in other applications, you install (put it in) in InDesign CC/Fonts.

  Could a right click on the PDF file > open with > choose program by default and select CD player as default PDF Viewer.

  You can do it from the control panel as well.

  The usual for not being able to download reason is that Premiere Pro (and other video applications such as After Effects) are 64-bit only what they need for a 64-bit computer and a 64-bit operating system.

  If you use a 32-bit computer and operating system, and then you see the icon of Premiere Pro as the software will not work on your computer.
