  If you do not have a PDF reader, you can not open a PDF file. Start by installing this.

  Yep, first off you don't just download the document using file manager. Use the media "downloads" under Modules in the admin to download your document. Then, in your Blog post, you will have a section called 'Literature' in your UI that you can select a certain download link.

  Try to uncheck the "documents open as tabs in the same window" under "Edit > preferences > General".

  Then restart the player.

  Open Acrobat Reader DC, navigate to the Edit-> Preferences-> General-> uncheck "Open Documents in the new tab in the same window.

  Restart your system & now try to open PDF files.

  In case you want visitor to click a button and open the PDF file in the browser, you can try following:

  1. create a button (Rectangle or text box)

  2. click on the button and go to the hyperlink menu and click on "link to file".

  

  3. navigate to the PDF file and select it.

  This will create a hyperlink to the file and it will open in the browser if someone clicks on the button.
