How can I get Windows Vista Home Premium 64-Bit installed on Windows 7 Home Premium 32 - Bit?
I decided to install Windows 7 on my computer for the 30 day free trial, but am now regretting it. I don't have the money to buy the product officially, so I want to reinstall my windows vista. I have the drive, but when I try to install the computer says that this version of windows is not compatible with it. How can I get my Windows Vista to install?
Also, I currently have windows 7 Home premium. It is a 32-bit operating system and is running on Service Pack 1. The version of windows that I am wanting to return is Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit.
I can't make the method for using the windows.old as my uncle decided to remove after installation of windows. I have 13, but even, I knew it was a bad idea. In any case, I would really help with this question.
Ranging from 32-bit to 64-bit is a single proposal for a NEW facility.
You can boot from the DVD and erase your old installation (wipe, from scratch, all not saved disappeared and everything must be installed manually - including drivers for hardware devices and software you have installed now) and install Windows Vista x 64.

So, I bought this laptop MSI FX600. It had Windows 7 Home premium OA (OEM I guess). It also contains a recovery partition.
After awhile, I had to reinstall windows, so I downloaded an iso of windows, put it on a USB key and reinstalled. but the product key doesn't work though I should be able to use it because it is not used by any other computer. How can I reinstall windows and activate with the product key OEM on the bottom of the laptop? somehow the recovery partition no longer works, so that will not help either. Also, where can I download the iso right for reassembly?too bad that I already fixed it. I installed the version English, but anyway my laptop only supports the Dutch version. Thank you for your abundant answers.

How can I stop Windows 7 Home Premium to disconnect me after just 60 seconds?
It's so bad, that I can't even get up to go to the bathroom without leaving the game and I checked every setting I can think of to "solve" this problem.
I'm not using a screen saver and my Power Options are the following:
Require a password on Wakeup: no
Sleep after: the value never sleep
Allow hybrid sleep: off
Hibernate after: never
Allow the wake timers: disable
Sleep button action: do nothing (is not a button standby, but thought it was worth a shot anyway)
Turn off the display after: 60 minutesAre there other options that can cause this most annoying problem?
Is this lock, or do a logout complete where all your running programs get closed? Please let us know what we (programs closing or not?) so that we can determine the source of the problem.
Also - Please note that even if you use a screensaver, this page still has an option of timer on it. Getting back to your settings of the screensaver and make sure that the checkbox is disabled, even if the choice of the screensaver is already set to None. -

How to get a windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit installation disc?
My computer is an emachine T5086. It has Windows Vista Home Premium and when loading drivers they stop loading at "windows32 drivers/crcdisk sys. I don't know what that means.
Then, the computer restarts and asks me to install my windows installation disc for repairs. F8 on reboot is not available as an option. I don't have a repair option I turn on the computer and hold down the F8 key manually. I don't have a windows disk or recovery disk and I can't to where I can find a restore either point.
How to make a windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit installation disk? I have my product key. Or where can I get one?
Hello
There are different methods to reinstall Vista.
There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.
You can contact the manufacturer of your computer, eMachines and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.
They should do this for a small fee.
http://www.eMachines.com/EC/en/us/content/home
To reinstall Vista using their recovery disk/s, you start from the 1st recovery disk they provide and follow the manufacturer's instructions to reinstall:
You need to change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order:
How to change the Boot order in BIOS:
http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/SS/bootorderchange.htm
"How to replace Microsoft software or hardware, order service packs and replace product manuals.
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/326246
And if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your computer, there should be a recovery Partition on the hard drive to reinstall Vista on how you purchased your computer.
The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)
Maybe it's F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.
Ask them to the proper key sequence.
Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.
If this happens, you may need to try this instead:
You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.
Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

I want to install Windows 7 Professional. I ran the Windows Upgrade Advisor, and he told me that I can upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium and Ultimate. Why not professional? Or is this correct?
You can still install Windows 7 Pro, but it requires a custom installation. This will remove all your programs (you will need to reinstall them), but you can save your files and settings to external storage before doing so.
If you want to make a place in the upgrade you will need Home Premium or Ultimate.

If you have Vista:

What Upgrade Options are available for Windows 7?

Windows 7 Home Premium, Windows 7 Ultimate
Windows Vista Edition Home Premium
Windows 7 Home Premium, Windows 7 Ultimate
Windows Vista Business
Windows 7 Professional, Windows 7 Ultimate
Windows Vista Ultimate Edition
