How can I change a Windows Movie Maker file type?

How can I change the file type to download my movies to eksample, Facebook?

Hi Edvardflaatten,

Here is a list of the types of files supported by Facebook: http://www.facebookvideo.it/facebook-video-formats.php.  You will notice that one is. WMV.  It is a common type that works with Windows Media Player.

Here is the procedure to convert a Windows Movie Maker file to WMV format: http://www.ehow.com/how_5821594_convert-movie-maker-file.html.

I hope this helps.

Good luck!

If you are referring to one. Project MSWMM file...
the best bet would be to open it in Movie Maker
and publish (save) in the. WMV video format.
Then you can import it into Live Movie Maker
    like any other video clip.

Trying to create a brochure.  I downloaded and converted files from word to PDF.  How can I change the order of these files now?

    Hi respice1,

You combine several files in PDF format? If so, you can drag and drop the page thumbnails tab to combine files in the order you want the combined files.

Afterwards, you will need to use Acrobat to rearrange the pages in a PDF document. You can try Acrobat for free for 30 days, if you wish. For more information, see www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html.

  • How do you get the necessary codecs to AVI on Windows Movie Maker files to run?

I tried to open an AVI video file on Windows Movie Maker for the first time, and he said was: "the file cannot be imported because the codec required to play the file is not installed on your computer. If you have already tried to download and install the codec, close and restart Windows Movie Maker, and then try to re-import the file. »

-What this means and how I can get the codec?

    Help, please!

You must use an application like MediaInfo to identify the missing codec and then download the one you need. MediaInfo can analyze the video file and provide a link to download the appropriate codec. Here are some additional details on How to solve the problems of codec with MediaInfo.

  • How to improve rendering in Windows Movie Maker?

I use CamStudio (on Windows XP) to make a few instructional videos on Visual Studio for our development team, and one of the necessary videos a few changes to remove audio and video errors and to add a better term. CamStudio output to .avi files, and they look pretty good, with the program being quite readable source code. However, after you make the changes using WMM, it made the results in a noticeable loss of quality. He has gone from scathing in short and sufficiently legible to recognizable but a little fuzzy. It has also inflated the size of the new file .avi three times his original size (before half of the vido out cropping!). And the .wmv that I tried to make was definitely smaller but simply horrible appearance. Here the image on the left is the original video, and the right image is rendered of WMM in .avi format:

I must be something wrong, but I don't know anything about how to use WMM (my first use of it). I use the default settings to the best of my knowledge.

    Suggestions welcome!

If your saved video files are not the resolution you
require... you may need to use a custom profile:

Personally, I find the following .wmv profile to be
    useful when recording movies.
