C7280 does not print why?

I have a printer c7280 all-in-one I've had for many years, and have never had a problem, but this has changed today, and I can't understand what is wrong.  I'm clinging to my wireless router network and allows to print from my PC and my laptop and still have never had a problem with either.  Today, I tried to print from my laptop and it does not work.  It is said that he sent the document to print, and then after a few minutes it give me an error that it can't print, and the link to see why said calling someone.  I am on my PC and messed with her and she did the same thing.  I run Windows XP on the PC and windows 7 on my laptop.  I ran the HP software to look for problems on both computers and he said that everything was fine and then I tried to print a test page and then goes back to the same question as above.  I got the direct connection to my router and then re-hung, HP software re is installed on both computers and the printer is off and let it rest then turned back, but also completely off the hook it and then set it back up, all with no resolution.  open to ideas?  the scanner and the work of copycat on the printer so that the material is fine, but why the computer says that it is connected, but it won't get the information to print?  Thanks to anyone who can help!

Jason

OK, we will solve this problem for good.  Its a little annoying, but it should be fixed forever.

First, let's define an IP address of the printer:

-Print a the front of the printer Network Setup Page. Note the IP address of the printer.
-Enter the IP address in a browser to reveal the internal settings of the printer.
-Choose the network tab, then wireless along the left side, then on the IPv4 tab.
-On this screen, you want to set a manual IP address. You must assign an IP address outside the range that the router sets automatically (called the DHCP range). If you do not know the range, change the last set of numbers (those after the last '.') 250
-Apply the subnet 255.255.255.0 (unless you know it's different, if so, use it)
-Enter the IP of your router (on the Page of the Network Config) for the bridge and the first DNS entry.  Do not fill in the second.
-Click 'apply '.

Stop the router and printer, start the router, wait, and then start printing.

Start > Control Panel > printers (devices & printers on Win 7).  Remove all instances of the priner.

Finally, add again in this way:

1. make sure the printer is on and connected to your network. Verify that you can access the printer's internal web page by accessing its IP address before continuing. Get his IP address for a network Test printed on the front of the printer.
2. click on > start > Control Panel > printers (or devices & printers for Win 7)
3. click on add a printer
4. Select local printer
5. Select create a new port and select Standard TCP/IP Port, and click Next.
6. under device type, select TCP/IP Device. Under the name of host or IP address, enter the IP address of the printer. Click Next.
7. Select Hewlett-Packard in the list of manufacturers and select and select your printer model. Click Next.
If your printer model is not in the list, then select disk provided, browse the CD that came with your HP printer and select the first file begins with hp and ending with INF. click Open, then OK. Select your printer model. Click Next.
8. If prompted, use the driver that is currently installed.
9. He will ask the name of the printer - enter a new name or use the one existing. This will be the name of the printer that you select from other applications.
10. we may ask you to share the printer. Choose No.
11. the printing area of Test Page is displayed. Go ahead and print it out.
12. click on finish.

    Hello

I have a Photosmart C7280 AIO which suddenly does not print and has been 'offline' for three days.

I have Win 7 and a Wi - Fi connection.  Doctor of printing HP and Scan is unable to resolve the situation; I tried several times and he tells me to contact my 'network administrator' (?). I unplugged my modem, printer cables, etc. and turned back, but no dice.   I tried to uninstall the printer software, but couldn't even find what I initially installed a couple of months.  I then tried to reinstall the printer driver, hoping a newer version of the software would be available and I would have the option to uninstall the old one, but got a notification that the installation was not successful.  I tried all of the solutions that I can find for the past 12 hours.  Please help before I take a hammer to my new printer!

Thank you in advance for the clusters!

    Hi Sunshyn2005,

Thank you very much for your answer!

A few hours after my assignment - and loads more than frustration, I finally resorted to the HP customer service.

Three different technicians spent three 3 hours (!) clean my computer of malware and pop-up windows which had started to exceed his function (although it is a relatively new computer (September 2013), which I know can have no impact).

I was told that they could be the reason why my computer was grateful is no longer the printer.

My printer took over the feature after cleaning and replacing of the software of my printer.

I recommend strongly HP customer care for those who have been unable to solve their problems with HP online support (or who simply can't take the stress out of the non-operational equipment more, like me.)

Nevertheless, thank you for your suggestions. I hope that others with a similar model can benefit from your advice (assuming that their machines do not require a computer scan 3 hr.) ) !  Best of all, not need hammer!

  • C7280 does not print... said yellow empty cartridge and is not

I am totally disgusted and frustrated because I've never been.  I tried for hours to get a response of 'Community' to this problem.  It has been reported a million times and I have yet to see a solution.  The printer does not print colors and wrote the yellow cartridge is empty and it is brand new.  I need to color, not black.

Tomorrow at Sams and a new Canon and this POS is going to the dumpster.  This shit has been underway for two months, and I've tried many times to get an answer... What a waste...

  • Why my printer does not print with Windows 8?

Why my printer does not print with Windows 8?

Did you just upgraded or purchased a new computer with Windows 8, and now you can't get your printer to work?  If so, this can help you.  Many people have questions about the installation of their printer on a new OS.  This will help you answer these questions and make sure you get everything installed.

    Before you start

Before you try to install the printer on a Windows 8, you should check to make sure that the printer is compatible with the new OS.  The link below will give you a list of printers that will work in Windows 8.

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c03168175

If you have upgraded your computer to Windows 8 formed another version of Windows, make sure all software uninstall complete of your printer.  It should still print, but to use all the features, you will need to reinstall the software, if available.

Another thing to consider is how you want to connect the printer to the computer.

    1. USB.  You must ensure that you have a USB cable which does not exceed 6 feet (about 2 m).  Be sure to connect the printer directly to the computer.  Do not use a USB hub.

    2. Ethernet cable.  Make sure you have the network configuration, you have a free cable port on the router, and you have an available Ethernet cable.

    3. Wireless.  You must ensure that you have the configuration of the wireless network, and you have the password of the wireless network.

    1. installation Via USB

Installation via USB in Windows 8 became much simpler for users of HP printer.  In other versions of the Windows operating system, you need to launch the installation and wait that it asks for the USB connection.  If you do not, you will need to uninstall the printer from the devices and printers folder and then launch the installation.  In Windows 8, which won't be a problem.  If you plug the USB cable from the printer and then install the printer software, work remains.  Now for in depth instructions on installing the printer via the USB port click on the link below.

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c03521864

2 installation Via an Ethernet network connection

For an Ethernet connected printer, the installation is disconcerting.  All you have to do is to connect the printer to the network.  Once you have done so, Windows 8 will automatically install the drivers for you.  Then, all you have to do is install the rest of the software, if available.  It's really as simple as that.

3 installation Via a wireless network connection.

For a wireless printer, network installation is disconcerting.  All you have to do is to connect the printer to the network.  Once you have done so, Windows 8 will automatically install the drivers for you.  Then, all you have to do is install the rest of the software, if available.  It is roughly the same as just Wireless Ethernet installation.

    http://WWW8.HP.com/us/en/support-drivers.html

    Alternative installation methods

With Windows 8, the drivers of many printers are installed with the operating system.  These are called pilots InOS, since they come built-in to the operating system.  If you have one of these printers, you should have to do simply connect it to the computer via USB, or connect to the network via Ethernet or wireless.  Once you have that makes Windows will take care of the rest.  There are other methods of installation of your printer if normal methods don't work for some reason any.  You can install the printer is using the printer, or through Windows Updates Setup Wizard.

    Set printer wizard:

    Windows Update:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c03460648

Note: The drivers of Laserjet for the Asia-Pacific and the Japan will come only at a later date.  See below the link support site for the availability of the driver.  I will update this post once they become available.

  • 5740: does not print anything

Monday morning, I was able to print things very well, but when I got home from classes I wouldn't let me print anything!

I open HP print and doctor Scan which ended, there was nothing wrong. I went to HP Support Assistant, same thing.

I was able to print the diagnoistic from my computer but I am not able to print from Microsoft word or Google Docs.  It is not in offline mode. I have a USB key on top of the printer to the computer.

When I try to print, it appears in its qeuce as queue and printing but my printer does not print.

What is going on? Why it does this now? This is a new printer I've had in the month of August.

    Hello

What is the operating system on your computer? KB3194496 10 Windows and iOS 10.12 killed a lot of printers, without mercy. I'm a victim too. I think that your machine uses Windows 10 and update automatically.

Now, please reinstall drivers on your computer and printing software.

    Kind regards.

  • HP Officejet 4630 portable printer: HP Officejet 4630 printer does not print until the computer is restarted

When I send a document to the printer; It shows in the print queue, but does not print.  When I restart my computer, the document will print.

The same thing happens whenever I have send a document to the printer.  I have a WiFi connection from my laptop to the printer.  The blue icon on the printer lights indicating that plugged.

Why does only work when the computer is restarted?  I ran the HP Support Assistant, and it does not find the printer; even if the printer seems to find the computer once I restarted the computer.

It's embarrassing to say and I'm not very technical interest.  Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

    Hi @Maggie78

    Thank you for your patience.

    You can try the following:

    Creating a TCP IP port

    1. print a Configuration Page to get the printer IPv4 address (you can also tap on the icon wireless on the front panel of your printer to obtain the IP address)
    2. on your PC, go to the Panel control, devices and printers, right-click the printer and on the left, click printer properties, select the Ports tab.
    3. click Add Port, select the Port TCP/IP Standard, then New Port and follow the instructions in the wizard.
    4. Enter the IP address of the printer.

Note that you can ALWAYS go back to the original port the HP software installed by selecting the HP port on the Ports tab (in the properties of the printer)

    Hope that helps!

  • LV does not print the barcode fonts

It's the VI, I created to print a barcode. I set up the type size and police and then sent to the printer. But LV does not print the right font. When I made the same format in WORD and print, print correctly.

Barcode font, I used is not installed on the local PC, but it is available in the printer driver. I guess this is the reason why print all fines. WHY CAN'T LV?

You can simply use the TCP protocol to establish a connection to the printer on port 9100. The printer is set up to automatically close the connections that are inactive after 5 minutes. If you send only from time to time the label you must close the connection and reopen it when you send the next label. If you send a relatively steady stream of labels, you can leave the connection open.

  • OfficeJet 6000 E609n: One color (black) does not print

Background the color black does not print.
Background page printed from the printer status indicates that there is no black ink. This impression has said that there is sufficient (at least 20%) supply of three coloured inks. Per the comment above, no black printing does appear on the page printed of the status of the printer, even if the black cartridge has been rather recently installed (2015-12-24).
Background none of the four "low ink" lights on the printer are turned on.
Background the State indicated by the HP Solution Center utility displays a green check mark, that is to say, that everything is OK.
Background the "estimated ink levels" in the utility HP Solution Center indicate that the black ink cartridge is about 60% full.
Background I've done the first of these two cleaning procedures to clean the print head. It produces no change. (In fact twice.)
Background I removed the power cord to the printer and unplugged the power cord from the source and then wait 10 seconds. Then I reconnected things together. Nothing has changed.
Background I cleaned the vent for the black cartridge.
Background I replaced the black cartridge. The level indicated on the "Estimated ink levels" in the HP Solution Center utility now indicate that the black ink cartridge is 100% full.  No change.

Background now, I think that the problem may be the print head.  I am discouraged.

    Any suggestions?

    Hi @Upper_Left,

It seems as if the HP product registration service is temporarily unavailable.

Normally you get invited to register immediately after installation is complete.

It's a Web page that can help you know if the printer is listed, or as aid re-register once the number of available service - Registration Question Index.

The term of defective kernel is used which means that the defective part you are replacing is the same part that you send back.

When you select the option to change the replacement part is usually repaired or refurbished, is why there is such a difference in price between the parties. It seems that if the defective part is not returned within the specified time. 'faulty base tax' is loaded.

I can't say for sure 100% that the problem will be resolved to the replacement printhead. If the printer was in warranty, it would be the normal order of operations.

Please click the "accept as Solution" and the "thumbs up" button up on top of my first response above and other similar issues may find the easiest solution.

    Thank you!

  • Photosmart eStation C510 does not print

Hi my (?) Photosmart eStation C510 printer does not print! I checked all settings changed ink cartridges, it will print a color image, but it will not print black and text is missing from the photo - I cleaned the printheads three times. I found the 'helpline' inaccessible HP and am pretty much scream of rage and frustration. I don't understand why it will not be printed. Printing ink level indicator is not telling the truth because I replacead all the cartridges this morning and he said one of them is half empty! If I see another white page out of this printer I'll cry! I guess it's maybe that black ink nozzle is completely blocked - it's the only thing I can think. Other peoples encountered this problem? and Yes, I restarted, six times

You both seem to have some problems with printing caused by your print quality.

Suzyd (and I would like you to try this too, CPilenza), I recommend do you a similar process that is Cipelenza. I would like to open your machine and remove the cartridges and print heads. Then unplug your machine while it is still open. Then use a fluffy cloth (like a coffee filter) and little water to clean the contacts on the back of the printhead (the bumps in copper). Then clean the contacts inside the machine. So shut up and plug it / turn it on. Replace the printhead and cartridges in order ask the machine.

Sometimes, if the print head is damaged, the part will be replaced.

The two of you run this software to diagnose your hardware: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02762272

    Let me know the results.
