How can I change the default option to OPEN rather than SEARCH on the folder my pictures?

  • Something has changed on the folder options my images recently and I wanted it back.
When I tried to open the folder my pictures, I would click on start, then on my images.  He opened for the thumbnails of all my photo folders.  That's how I want it, but now when I click on start, then on my images, it takes me to a search screen, not a view of the records themselves.
  • I am running XP Home Edition.
  • I don't know what has happened to change the default option.
  • I can tell you that when I right click on the folder my pictures, I noticed that the first option is to search FOR and it's bold.  This seems to be the default.
  • I want that option by default to be OPEN when I click on my images.
  • I know how to change the folder view settings, but the folder my pictures is not customizable.  I want to just go back to the way it is.

If the program does not open the last folder you visited you most likely have the option enabled to automatically load bridge at startup.  Disable this option in PS or close bridge before shutting down the computer.

If you always want it to start on a specific folder, you can leave it on autoload, go to the folder that you want to start, then exit bridge.  It should load this each time in the future.  Many of us discourage the auto load option because it can lead to other problems as well.

  • How can I change the folder where the application Photo looking for pictures?

I have a new laptop and when I add pictures in the pictures folder in my library they do not appear in the Photos app. All it says "there no file or folder in this point of view." I'll try to find a way to change the folder "Photos" in the search, but I don't see anything. The only thing I can think is that this is my second camera Windows 8 (from a Surface Pro 3) and when I started this diet I said to copy my old setting and he can always try to search for images in the directory of the other system. • How can I change the folder under Folders options browse to open each folder in its own window?

No matter how many times I select "Open each folder in the same window", the files still open in a separate window. So I then several windows open in order to view the other subfolders. Also when I select "File Types" tab and I see that the extension of the file types: (folder) and (folder), they both show (none), which I guess is OK.  So when I click on the "Advanced" tab area 'Actions' watch [find] and [open] with Open being the DEFAULT action. But for Edit or delete buttons are greyed out! So anything that can be changed is the default action is open or find it.

I just want to be able to open and view the folders in the same window! Do you think I have to reinstall XP Home Edition, running around SP3?

  • Hello. I created a folder music on my external hard drive connected to my asus router.  I can now access the music through my media library.  How can I change the folder when I make new purchases to iTunes easily without doing it one by one

I created a folder music on an external hard drive connected to my asus router.  I copied my music from my iTunes library in this folder access and can now my kodi media network.  How I updated the folder when I do new iTunes purchase without having to do it one by one thanks

You can use a backup tool that updates only modified files.  You don't say what kind of computer you use.

ITunes is actively using media on the external hard drive so you can replace it. Simply copy the media to one other player does not have iTunes it use it.  iTunes is probably still using media to your internal drive.

Will not to happen outside of rename photos,.

Windows live photo gallery offers the possibility to rearrange your photos just for a slide show.

Open wlpg, find the folder or photos in several different folders, searching all the photos and videos from search on the search up option on top of the left column and begin to look at the little boxes that appear when you hover over the pictures,

When you have selected all the photos, click on (create a tab, then movie) or if offered slideshow, then all photos of will open it in a review of dialog box and slide it in the direction you want, click the next button when your done and follow the rest of the customization options.

  • How can I change the sequence of pictures, that I imported into Vision Assistant?

    Hello

I have several issues of images I shot a framegrabber. Each has between 300-500 images .bmp are named 0, 1, 2, 3,..., 365.  The problem is that when I use Vision Assistant to open the pictures, it opens in out of use.  Ex: 1, 10, 100, 101, 102,..., 11, 110, 111,..., 12, 120, 121,...

What is even more frustrating, is that he doesn't seem to be a way to rearrange the pictures, or I don't think I want to spend the time to do for 16 folders of images, with that I work.

    Thoughts... Ideas?

In this case, it is best to name the images using 3 numbers and fill with zeros on the left.

It would be pretty easy to write a quick vi who reads all the files in a directory.  For each file, it would remove the old number and replace it with three-digit version.  If the number is less than 100, it can rename the file automatically.

I can't imagine other ways to solve your problem.

  • How can I change the default topics listed in Windows Explorer?

When I look at the files in Windows Explorer there are positions that I find little use for me. I would like to change the default headings listed to display only those that I use most often as update, size, Type and Date of creation. How can I change the default settings for securities so that these topics, such as tags and side are not displayed?

To change the headers, right-click on the header bar, and click more.  You will see a list of options to be included in the header, and you can place about to adapt to your desires.  But they will not stick unless you modify the template for this type of file.  Procedures for this follow-up.

Here's how to change the default template for a folder: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/70819-windows-explorer-folder-view-settings.html.  Default behavior is to select the model based on the first type of file placed in the folder (you must choose something).  Vista sets the folder type template according to what are the types of files in the window and the settings display window Explorer. This will show you how reset the display settings of Windows Explorer folder (which is what I think you want), disable Automatic folder Type discoveryand increase the view of the folder cache to have Vista don't forget not the display, model of file type settings, the size or the position of a window for when it was still closed to the location of specific path.

It does not work with the Sub record under, Open with, open in a new tab (Internet Explorer), etc... dialog windows of type through the good File menu bar item. These don't seem to be able to have their size or their position to recall. For the latter, you can use the free program http://autosizer.en.softonic.com/ to resize them.

Here is another article on how to modify the columns in Windows Explorer and sort in Vista: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/108665-column-customize.html.  This will show you how Add, Remove, move, change the widthand change the sort order of the columns in Windows Explorer in the way that you want.

Here is another article on how to change the display of the default folders in Vista (but she argues, it is not a perfect solution and can revert to the previous behavior is not as good as the two prior links provided: http://news.cnet.com/8301-13880_3-10019957-68.html.)

I hope this helps in your situation.

  • Response of local folders looks like the answer to the discussion group. No signature or formatting options. How can I change the local folders meets regularly?

Please see image attached. Responses from the eyes of local folders as responses to the discussion groups. No signature or formatting options. How can I change the local folders meets regularly, as they are in the Inbox?

I don't think that the format of replies to the messages in the local folders are linked with focus groups or to individual account settings. As local folders can contain messages between several accounts or identities, it is more likely that formatting uses the setting of the account or identity appearing in the: field when you reply.

This is how I think it should work. How this works in practice may be different.
