  Right-click on the pasteboard, and you should have a choice of colours from timeline menu.

  I need a PDF rendering because my paper is mostly text and vector. I have create a version 1024 x 768 and it is always great on Retina display.

There is no default in PDF format, it is lacking in PNG. Now, I can't seem to find a way to do this anywhere, in the manufacturer or the producer. The only way I can see to do this is to delete all my articles and start again, including all my descriptions, kickers, bylines and thumbnails. And because I have hypertext links, I have to keep the names of the articles right in my report builder. There is a lot of room for mistakes.

  A screenshot would be easier to follow, but I'm sure I understand what you're asking. Try to make a control (Mac) or right-click (PC) on the folder, then picking 'See the parent folder' from the list of options.

  Change affects only the current active document. If it's "do" for all new documents, then something that it is a global setting that is caused. Close all your documents, and then set the parameter.
