  I just got a xps8500 with 2 TB HD and SSD of 256 win7. Win7 is installed on the 2 TB drive and I would like to clone or re - install everything on the SSD and make my boot as well as all other programs (photoshop/lightroom) drive.   I have pretty much the same system you have, even refurbished.  I think that there is an 'image' of the saved or cached on the SSD drive, operating system and (perhaps) when the computer starts, it first "looks to" the C drive but sees while there is an image of Windows 7 on SSD and "bounces" to there and starts on the SSD.

  After I used my new computer several times and checked 'properties' on the drive (SSD) J it was not 256GB available, but about 236 GB.  Windows 7 is apparently about 20 GB.  After that I used several times for Flight Simulator X, drive J had about 201 GB free.  According to ME, since I had loaded Flight Simulator several times a program has decided to keep also on the SSD.

  This technology is quite recent (2011) and there are not yet many computer experts who can explain it in terms we're moderately savvy computer can understand.  This first article says that it only works for as large as 64 GB SSDS, but article is not all references later in 2011, so I guess these technologies Intel Rapid Storage Technology (IRST) and Smart Response Technology (SRT) have been expanded to make use of all of the 256 GB SSD on our computers.

  HP REPLACED MY HP G70 WITH a HPdv7.  THE HPdv7 PERFORMED THE DESCRIBER NERMAU LOCK FUNCTION AS IN THE HP INCTRUCTIONS.

  Shut down the laptop by holding down the key SHIFT left click Shutdown to temporarily prevent a hybrid boot.

  Now on TAP the ESC key as soon as you press the power button to see if it will launch the Start Menu.  If this is the case, select f10 to open the bios menu.

  I don't think that this is possible as many number format. You should be able to insert A in a text string using a formula, but this would happen in a second cell, not that the number has been entered.

  "Assuming all the"numbers require the same inserted letter after the second number, this should do the work."number" entered in column A; the formula in column B. In the table below, your value as an example is A6.

  As far as I can see there is no easy way to do this. However, an easy option is to have the Thunderbird in the system tray on hitting the close instead of closing button. The add-on "Minimize on start and close" for Thunderbird accomplishes this mission and to close all what you need to do is right-click on the icon in the taskbar, and then click close to close actually it.
