    I have microsoft scan software and a jet hp6500 office printer, scanner etc.  How can I scan to a PDF file?

    Hello Jim,

    I will suggest 2 things. First, go to hp.com site and select your device from the five listed here (http://www8.hp.com/us/en/support-drivers.html).

    Second suggestion is that you use the HP software to scan your document, where the native format is PDF.

    Let me know if this helps you.

    How can I open 2 different pdf files and show them separately on 2 different monitors?

    Hi thomasr1953,

    You will need to uncheck 'Open documents as tabs... new' under ' Edit > Preferences > general "so that the two PDF files open in separate windows.

    Then, you can drag the second file to the second monitor.

    How can I make the smaller pdf file size?

    Hi vickyb,.

    Reducing the size of PDF file requires Acrobat (one way is by choosing File > save as > PDF of reduced size). If you do not have Acrobat, you can try it free for 30 days. See www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html for more information.

  • How can I convert xps to PDF?

    I need to send my documents in .pd comments in my company.  I have the adobe reader software, but I cannot print a document in as .pdf in my windows 8.  Windows help said that xps is similar.  But I don't find this to be the case.  Do I have to buy pdf converter in windows 8?

    In your April 20 message you asked how to create a PDF instead of an XPS file.  As I said in my reply, you do save as and select the type of PDF file.  This applies to all Office 2010 applications later

    On April 21 of your message implies that you want to convert XPS to PDF which is a different proposition.

    For XPS to PDF, there are (at least) two options in Windows and Office.

    1. open the XPS file in XPS Viewer (double-click the file) and then print to OneNote, you can then save in format PDF of OneNote.

    2. use the Windows Snipping Tool to retrieve a snapshot of the XPS file and paste it into Word (or OneNote or...) and then save as PDF.

    There may be other ways.

  • How can I save/import a pdf file received the email on an Ipad in MyAssets (cloud creative) so I can edit it in Adobe Sketch?

    I need to edit pdf files (scanned) from different people, change in Adobe sketch and e mail the PDF with changes in return. This must be done using only an Ipad.

    The problem is that I can't do so only using an Ipad, because I do not know how to open the mail PDF in Adobe Sketch. So I need a computer to place the PDF in MyAssets on creative cloud first. I also installed dobe CD player and placed the file in the clouds of the Document, because I thought that the Document and the designer Cloud cloud would somehow between them. But no luck so far.

    If I ask someone who knows a way to do it, to explain it to me.

    Thank you

    Hi Lukearh,

    my penny on this issue. I'm starting to a point that the file is easily traceable. Like a sketch of a logo or something.

    The pdf file arrives on an ipad, right? So, open the PDF and take a screenshot of the file if it is open (which is done by clicking at the same time the sleep button on the top and the button on the screen of your ipad at home). Then you will have your PDF saved in your camera as an image.

    Once on film, then open adobe sketch and use use the icon to import an image second icon to the left, in the sketch menu, it looks like a picture with two mountains and the Sun). Resize the screen and work top of tracing.

    Now I could give you a very naïve solution, but the only way I could find to solve your problem if you really work on iPad only

  • How can copy text from a PDF file in the right order?

    I get texts translation of customers in PDF files. I need to copy some of the text of these files in Word, but the selection of Adobe jumps tool documents around, seemingly at random, sort of paragraphs and lines from different locations on a page are automatically selected together. The tables are particularly bad. If I try to copy an entire file, receives yet more random order. For example, all the titles of the document can be gathered in one place. I tried various PDF conversion software. They put all the PDF content in the areas of text, which is not suitable for my purposes. I want to just copy the PDF files in the exact order in which they appear on the page in text form that I can handle in Word. I'm now up to version 9.3.0 and there has been no improvement. Is there a solution to this problem?

    Hey, Marcoola.

    I agree that by copying and sticky from PDF to Word maunally are really difficult and tedious work. I have encounterd this problem before. Fortunately the problem can be solved perfectly now. I recommend AnyBizSoft PDF to Word Converter, which is totally free for months before. This conversion mode supports three app - batch, partial, right-click conversion and it even supports encrypted PDF conversion, previously you must have legal rights. And the conversion quality is superb, all the original text, page, images and hyperlinks will be preserved in an editable word document. It is more useful than those software online for free. It will be useful.

  • How can I associate a local Pdf file with a button in Flash?

    Hello everyone,

    This is my first question in this case and hope that my English is not so bad...

    I am currently working on a Flash project for a client and this is my problem,

    I have to use a button that opens an external pdf file. But I can't find any solution :/
    I already tried to use fscommand with "exec" and also getURL

    Here is my code:

    PDF_Button_001.addEventListener (MouseEvent.Click, PDF_Button_001_onRelease);

    function PDF_Button_001_onRelease(e:Event)

    {

    getURL ("file://PDFs/PDF_001.pdf", "_blank")

    }

    Any help please :)

    Security sandbox default Flash to block this kind of thing. This has made many people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move. To make this work you must manually add the local drive letter to the list of trusted locations on each computer that is running Flash content.

    When it works, I would advise against using getURL. Call a JavaScript function instead allows much more control over the way in which the PDF document is opened.
