  We're very sorry, but Adobe would not be able to provide you with Acrobat 8 pro for mac. The reason being, it's a very old version and Adobe unfortunately does not provide support for such an old version. You must contact the same resource where you bought the DVD. They might be useful for you.

  Or you can opt for our last DC of Acrobat. It is very different from that of the older Acrobat 8 and has a different and new USER interface as well as new features.

  I have checked & found you have purchased Acrobat Professional 11 upgrade last month retail version.

  You can download it from the download section of www.adobe.com when you connect with your own Email id.

  Alternatively, you can serialize the trial version, by clicking on 'buy this software' when you launch the product & you get a prompt that "your trial period has expired".

  Since it is an upgrade version, it will ask the previous full serial number during installation or serialization, please keep it very practical.

  I disabled the version on the old laptop and I installed the portable version 9.0.0 of the CD on the new computer using the serial number.

  The version of Acrobat 9 Pro on my old laptop had been updated with version 9.5.5.

  I now get an error message saying: "there is no update available" when I try to update my version 9.0.0 on the new laptop.

  Sorry for the long explanation, but can someone help me with the update my version 9.0.0 9.5.5 version?

  There are tasks I am not able to perform with the version 9.0.0 version that I have been able to perform with the 9.5.5 version.
