    I think this is a related issue of Windows, because it is the Manager to save the windows file that we are talking about here (right?).     To disable the address bar to not display search history results. You can do this by going to Firefox-> Options-> privacy and select the option that says: "when you use the location bar suggest" and set it to "nothing". I have attached a screenshot that might make it easy for you to locate.
