• How can I find my favorites?

  In the last few itterations of Firefox I not was able to work at all bookmarks. The first problem is, you save a bookmark, but where does it go? In most of the browsers and Firefox until a few months ago, the bookmark is immediately visible in the list of bookmarks. Now, the only things under bookmark icon are a load of empty positions of meaning are going nowhere I want to go. All I want is to be able to create a list of useful bookmarks that I can get to without having to navigate so far I might as well look around again. Googling this question, I got a great response - 13 steps to set up your bookmarks in Firefox, I thought that the purpose was to have only one.

  Create a new bookmark works like this:

  • By clicking on the star in the toolbar navigation go to bookmark the page in the "Unsorted Bookmarks" folder and the star lights in blue to show that
  • Bookmarks > 'Bookmark this Page' (Ctrl + D) going to bookmark the page in the folder of bookmarks Menu (you will need to confirm that)
  • 'Bookmark this Page' is accessible via the context menu in the area through the bookmarks menu or navigation in the menu or Firefox menu button drop-down bar (Alt + B)
  • If the URL in the Navigation bar is set bookmark and the star is blue highlight then click on this star highlighted or use the menu item "Bookmark This Page/Edit this bookmark" (Ctrl + D) to change the properties of the bookmark as the name and the location and move the bookmark to another folder or delete the bookmark

  I bought a new computer and installed Firefox. Firefox has also been installed on my old computer, and I have the old hard drive connected to my new computer as drive E. I would get my favorites copied from the old drive to my current profile on my new C drive, but I can't locate the old favorites.   I thought about it. I didn't not < user > and < profile > refers to the names on my computer. Once occurred to me, I managed to restore from a backup by following the instructions at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/restore-bookmarks-from-backup-or-move-them

  I use an iMac from Apple, and when I opened my email using Firefox enamel filled the entire screen. To the top on the right side of the screen was a circle with the letter 'W' in it.   If you are connected to the same Apple ID you used with the old iPhone, just open the App Store App and look in the tab under purchased for applications updates.

  Since you have formatted the PC and reinstalled Windows, your question will be handled better in the hardware forum space and drivers for Windows 7, so I'll move it there.

  Apparently, you need to install the driver of your PC network. If you used the CD to restore the PC manufacturer that should have been included, but it may be on a 2nd CD with drivers and programs.

  If not, the first thing to do is contact the PC manufacturer to see if they have a driver available for download. If the PC has a wireless network card and wired, perhaps one has been configured, but not the other and you try to use the not yet detected and installed.
