How can I fix a corrupt MFT?

I am running XP Pro SP3, and I recently started having problems starting. My computer was hung up on the start of Windows XP at startup screen. After a few days of trying different methods to remedy, I could so he can start by unplugging my secondary SATA drive normally. Since then, I realized that it is a corruption of the MFT on this drive. Is it possible to fix this?

I replaced the drive. that solved the problem. I found that, except for pay professionals to do data recovery, it is impossible to fix a corrupted hard drive, so I just use my warranty to get a new drive.
