How can I fix DHCP and related networks after damage apparent virus?

A netbook with Windows XP client is more connected to the internet. The customer does not remember something strange happening just before she began to notice this. The strange thing is that it can always connect to a wireless network. When I try to see the IP settings by using the IPCONFIG command, I get the following message:

'Windows IP configuration.
An internal error has occurred: the request is not supported.
Contact the Services de Support technique Microsoft for assistance.
Additional information: host name of impossible request. »
Which lead me to check services and found that the DHCP service does not work. When I try to start it, I get:
"Unable to dΘmarrer Client DHCP services on the Local computer.
Error 1068: The dependency service or group could start. "
I tried following the steps in this post as best I could by replacing UBCD4Win on USB for Windows installation disk, but it does not solve the problem: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_xp-networking/dhcp-client-wont-start-due-to-dependency/91d41140-663f-4f58-9a04-9eaab2c40884?page=1&tm=1324426276627
I checked dependencies of DHCP in the registry as well as in the Properties window and all withdraws: AFD, NetBios over TCP/IP and TCP/IP Protocol Driver.
Other things I've tried:
  • Run full scan (found nothing) Microsoft Security Essentials
  • Installed and run the Malwarebytes scan (found three threats and removed them)
  • A ran SFC (found nothing out of whack)
  • Uninstalled the drivers affected no Plug and Play
Any ideas?
