How can I get a DOS window?

I accidentally pushed an e-mail on the right side of the screen to look at another window.

How can I get it back?

Right click on the taskbar, the icon of the window, click on 'Move', use your arrow key to the left to move the windown on the left. The first time that you click the arrow cursor is locked to the window, you can then use the mouse and left click to place the window.

How can I get rid of windows 7 without deleting it and istalling a different operating system?  I remember on xp, I couldn't allow him to function as a windows 95 or 98, if I wanted to.  I just want my computer works like windows xp.

do you mean get W7 to resemble the way XP worked?

In this case (start base fast and simple):

    • try to set a theme for a basic/classic theme - more like 98 then XP well.
    • Download (AV Control) and then use "classic shell" - menu style old XP.
    • Ditto for "explore classic" mentioned on this site.
    • Set the control panel to use the icons (small or large) as opposed to categories.

But its still W7 in disguise.

Is that the sort of thing you mean?

If so, personally, I think its better to stick with W7 and get used to. I bet you will love windows 8 :)

If you have read never managed a map upper memory to 1 GB (or perhaps 2 GB), the chances are very high that the problem is that your computer has a memory card reader that is too old to read the new SDHC cards (4 GB and more).  In this case, you will need to purchase an external card reader.  They are not very expensive.  For example--> http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=4024&IsNodeId=1&Description=memory%20card%20reader%20usb&name=%240%20-%20%2410&Order=BESTMATCH

  • How can I get a new Windows 7 product key for free?

I am a person who has the life out of a well-being which means I have very limited funds for money to buy a new product key for my windows 7.  Now to say that I bought my laptop on the street market, and lucky me a friend bought me a new hard drive form my computer and I don't know what or how he got windows7 here but he did. With someone who doesn't have a credit card and life out of $500 a month, how can I get a new product key, which I can't afford and so I am unable to work

Please if anyone can help it would be so appreciated.

This means that you must install the original version of Windows shipped with your computer if you are not Windows 7. Otherwise, you will need to set up or ask a family friend or a member of the family gift that you register.

If you know a student, you could ask to purchase a license at price reduced for you.

  • How can I get rid of windows 8 "Desktop"?

How can I get rid of the Office Windows 8 completely that everything opens, runs, and closes directly from, in and return to the Start page/Metro interface?  The start page of Windows 8 is really not different from your Windows 7 Desktop crowded with icons for the applications and files - but much more elegant and attractive.  Why is this another office in Windows 8 necessary at all?  This return to an environment like when you open certain apps, and then to have to go back between the office and the beginning of page environments is a compromise unnecessary and awkward.

    Hello

Thanks for choosing Windows 8. I've surely you will help find a solution on the issue.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to eliminate the office as it is Windows 8 operating system design.

  • How can I get rid of Windows Mail?

I have Windows Vista and I have this stupid Windows mail that comes with it. I never use this program and I was wondering if there is anyway to get rid of it. I also went to remove its files, but he says that the files were nesesary to running some programs, so I decided to not to remove. So, is it a safe way to get rid of Windows mail without messing something up? Thank you for your time and support, of lnachtigal

You cannot get rid of Windows Mail because it's part of your Vista operating system. If you use it, there should not be a problem, but you can disable it if you wish.

  • How can I get rid of Windows 7 and go back to XP - win7 is undesirable software incompetent

I've been using win7 for several months. This software is absolutely hostile user. It was a lousey experience. On the first day, the transfer of file file system messed up all my file from my old machine systems. I can't find things on the control panel - device driver - search functions file - everything which is rather well established since win 3.1 looks now like a block of lead tied to my ankles. Designed, documented in a suitable way for geeks only, and not the average user of semiskilled... I don't have the patience for this nonsense.

"Designed, documented in a suitable way for geeks only and not the average user semi-skilled."

It's funny you should say that. Monopoly$ often tried in fact their toughest excessive Windows
for the 'average' user, but somehow they have actually managed to make it more complicated.
There is always and will always be a couple of things that I hate about Win7, my pet hate is not
able to turn off the reorganization in the records. Although there is a solution for this, it can be a little awkward
to use as you can hide folders/files if you accidentally drop it another folder/file on top of it.

In addition to the suggestions of Cameron - for that old time feeling you can also use
Windows Classic view (simple R/click on the desktop and select "Personalize" from the context menu).
Still, I prefer this and do not use the libraries either.

A good feature is that you can "pin" folders to the icon in Windows Explorer in the taskbar,
so I pinned my account username as well as my other most often used records here.
To do this, you just use the option ' send to ' and send a shortcut to the records in question to
the desktop computer. Then, just drag and drop this icon WE shortcut.
Right-click for a list. You can make only a limited number of shortcuts here though.
-For .exe shortcuts, you must use the toolbar of office available on the right end of the taskbar.

As with XP there are loads of tips and third-party applications settings to best Win7
to your personal taste. Here are a few links to get you started-

BTW - Win7 is an OS better than XP. Better management of memory, more stable, and if well managed facility will work for years. My Win7 is three years old and was even "imaged" from another machine with a completely different hardware. Try that on XP.
-8 Win is supposed to be a very good OS.
While Win8 also attracts a lot of hate from PC users due to its user interface. MS apparently decided that if Win8 will not be the new Dodo Vista they will have to bend to the pressure of the user and release a new version - 8.1 with a friendly user interface more PC.  Intel has even designed their new processor around 8.1 to win.

  • How can I get rid of Windows Media Player Media Guide?

When you use Windows Media Player I clicked on Windows Media Player Media Guide believing he'd help me using Media Player. Instead it turns out be a forum of advertiswing for online retailers.  I can't get rid of the thw Media Guide, and he takes the place of Windows Media Player, so I can't use it.  Help!.

    Hello

It has no customizable option in Windows Media Player to remove the media guide and the online store in Windows Media player 11. This is normal and there is no way, you can remove or disable it.

However, you can publish your proposal or information on the case you want to see it implemented in the future.

    I hope this helps.
