How can I get a pop up instead of a new tab when I press tools/options?

I used to be able to view the tools/options in a pop-up, but as I had to restore Firefox I am only able to view them in a tab.

What's new on: preferences page has replaced the previously used stand-alone Options/preferences window.

You can enable/disable browser.preferences.inContent false on the topic: config page: page through a double click to restore the autonomous Options/preferences window you had in previous versions of Firefox.

You can open the topic: config page via the address bar.
You can accept the warning and click on "I'll be careful" to continue.

    OK, so, this problem has nothing to do with modules or extensions. I tried everything to implement options to stop bing to appear in a new tab when I opened. Then I went on other options. Here is how I fixed it.

    Open a new tab and in the address bar type: subject: config, click the button that says: I promise I'll be careful. in the search bar, type: newtab is the third option down that says searchinnewtabeenabledbyuser. Double-click on it and where it says 'true', ' false '. Restart firefox. your problem should be solved. Hope this helps other users of firefox extremely frustrated. Mozilla! Wake up! No one like bing!

    You can do one of the following:

    1. After you enter your search term in the search bar, you can middle-click or Ctrl + left - click on go (magnifying glass) button in the search bar (= Middle-click (press the scroll of the mouse wheel).)
    2. You can change a preference to always open a new tab when searching from the search bar by pressing the Enter key only (not the URL/address bar):

    Hotmail will open in a new window because the code or instruction set on the MSN site says Firefox to open Hotmail in a new window. I suggest that you right-click on the Hotmail button and click on "Open link in a new tab. This will open a new tab in the current window.

    You must go to the menu AF & re assign AF for the shutter button. It can be set to one or the other. (back button)

    The left pane is a "choose one". "All photos" are just that. 'G' is a different option.

    Lightroom is not a file Explorer. He knows only the drives and files that you have imported the photos of. If LR shows not all of the photos that are on your hard drive, it is because you did not import all photos.

    If LR shows you a photo in "all photos" but do not show it in the folder you think he is in, go to "all photos", select the image, right click "view in the library folder. This will show you where LR think the picture is.

    Hello, perhaps one of the steps of the action is to create a copy of the image. This is a very good tactic if you want to avoid affecting your original image.
