  Photoshop CS5 to read files from Nikon D750 to atleast Camera Raw 8.7 or higher.

  However, I believe that you would not be able to update Camera Raw, so you can download and install the DNG Converter and convert the files to DNG.

  Please follow the steps below to reset the Photoshop preferences.

  > Hold down the SHIFT key, command and Option (in Mac) or shift, Ctrl, and Alt (Windows) key and click on the Photoshop CS5 icon until you get a dialog box to delete the settings of Photoshop file.

  > Click Yes to it.

  Note: Using the hotkey, preference files for custom shortcuts, workspaces, and color settings will also reset to the default.

  From what I was told by an employee, newer than 10.7 Mac must subscribe in the cloud instead of buy CS6... and someone with Win10 must also subscribe to the cloud for CS6 is not compatible (meaning that the seller will ask you your operating system and not sell you CS6 if she does not work on your computer...   CR2 does not define a raw format, it is the family of Canon raw file. All Canon cameras has its own format.

  Version 9.2 of ACR does not work with PSE11.

  I don't know how it works on a Mac, but with Windows, you access the photoshop.exe file in the programs under Adobe folder and whatever PS version you have. Right-click on this file and select "create shortcut". Then drag it to your desktop.
