How can I get rid of the backup files?

Hello

Whe using 'Write as leader' and "Measurement reading File" I read and save to the same file (i.e. "example.lmv"). When I run the program and the signal is recorded in this file, the information is saved in the file, but at the same time, it creates a file of "backup"; I noticed that this is caused when I use 'read file measure '. Is it possible that I can run the program without creating this backup files? I run the program several times a day and I don't want to fill my computer with these files whenever I run it.

Thank you for your help,

Guillermo

PS: I have attached an example VI and the file where the signal is recorded.

Reading of file of the measure does not create a backup file.    Writing to a file of measure is because the setting is to rename the existing file if the file already exists.

If you want to just replace the existing file, then choose the parameter to replace the file in the properties of the Express VI.
