How can I get rid of the magnifying glass completely in Vista?

I saw the question and someone found their own response on how to disable the magnifying of Vista but didn't share how to do this.  Almost every day I somehow take the magnifying glass and have a lot of trouble to make it's off.  I don't want to ever use and want to completely disable the property.  How can I do this? Thanks in advance for a simplistic answer as I am not savy computer.

Disable Magnifier

Open the control panel. (Start > Control Panel).

Click on "ease of access".

Under "Ease of Access Center", click "optimize Visual Display".

Make sure that the box for "Enable on the magnifying glass" is not checked.

Click "Save".

Restart the computer (if required).

The microscope should run is no longer automatically at startup.

Best wishes
