  I use 3.6 because I like how it spans my toolbars instead of just me giving bookmarks in the corner and firefox solitaire in the opposite corner.   You should be able with the right button of the area of navigation pane and select the Pages. If it appears as a floating window, click and drag the word "Pages" (as opposed to the bar at the top of the window) and drag it to the area of navigation pane to dock it.

  What I could do was select the image in Illustrator, make vectorization, remove white background, complete with the image with the color of the task vanish and place it to overprint.

  The goal was to get a pdf file that included the four colors and spot varnish without anything to be eliminated.
