  Just to add to the answer above, once you have completed the scan with Malwarebytes in SafeMode with network, restart the computer in normal mode, look for the Malwarebytes updates, then perform another analysis.

  You can enable the Hibernate power options. Click Start-> settings-> Control Panel-> power-> Hibernate Options-> enable hibernation.

  After researching the issue, it seems that the problem was a problem of NoScript configuration. After restoring NoScript to the default values, the tab number disappeared.
