How can I get Vista 64 bit to 32 bit?

I've upgraded to Windows Vista 64 bit and find that some programs will not run now. I would go back to 32-bit of Windows Vista.

32-bit 64-bit > is not an upgrade path. Make you a clean to achieve installation.

To reinstall Vista 32-bit, do a clean install with a full version of 32-bit Vista disk/license.

See you soon.

    How can I get Vista "Windows Mail" to check mail using my connection local (LAN) internet?

    It allows only wants to "connect" using dial-up, wireless or wired ISP (type PPP) requiring a UID and password, of which none seem to allow me to select a LAN (ISP) simple (without a password).

    I know that the Ethernet connection works Ok, because I can use it with a standard Web browser; only the mail tool can't seem to see or use.

    Whenever I tell the Windows Mail email 'Send and receive', he wants to 'connect' for remote access or one of his three choices (listed above and direct exclusion of any connection to the local network).  It works with remote access, so once I have spend that I should be Ok. but I can't make it work directly.

    Help.

    In Windows Mail, go to select Tools, accounts, your account email, properties, connection.  It shows for the connection?  You
    should leave this setting not selected, in which case Windows Mail will use the IE connection uses.

    In addition, under Tools, Options, connection, the first checkbox must be checked, and the second box unchecked.

    If everything which withdraws, but you still have the problem, the account may be damaged.  Remove account, restart Windows Mail,.
    then recreate the account.

  • How can I get vista on my laptop?

    Hello

    They should have all the options you need if the upgrade can be done.

    I hope this helps.

  • My pcdid not equipped with any disk but has a recovery partition. How can I get vista to reinstall

    can I burn the recoery CD?

    Read the General information below on the recovery of Partitions and recovery discs and contact the manufacturer of your computer.

    How to get Vista recovery Media and/or to use the Vista recovery Partition on your computer.

    There is no Vista free download legal available.

    Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

    Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.
    See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.
    Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...
    Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    You can also make recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.

    They will tell you how to do this.

    Every computer manufacturer has their way of doing recovery disk/s.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
    A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
    The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.
    There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.
    If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu
    The disc tells me that the upgrade function is grayed out and pass through the windows!
    But does that mean?
    Peut-there please help me someone?
    Thank you very much.
    Hello
    There is no way to upgrade from 32 bit to 64 bit; they are different operating systems.
    It must be done with a new installation of the 64-bit operating system.
    First thing to do is to check with Sony to see if 64-bit drivers are available for your machine:
    Call the manufacturer of your computer.
    Ask them a set of recovery disks. The cost should be minimal.
    Make sure that tell you them the whole story, including the "torrent".
    At the same time, ask them if you had a recovery partition setup on your computer.
    If so, ask them to teach you how to use the recovery partition. For the benefits of others looking for answers, please mark as answer suggestion if it solves your problem.
  • How can I get the 32-bit version of Photoshop?
    I recently installed CS6, the disk version, not the version of cloud.  It does not include a 32-bit version of Photoshop (like CS5), and many of my filters will not work in the 64-bit version, despite what I said in the CHAT sessions.  Subscribers can download CC 2014 for the 32-bit version, but is not available with my serial number of the installation disk.  Is it possible to get a 32-bit version for those of us who are buyers, rather than subscribers?
    If your on an operating system 64-bit windows, are you sure that the 32-bit photoshop cs6 is not in C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS6?
    In the event that your drive has not delivered with the 32-bit version, does photoshop cs6 download here:
    No. 32-bit photoshop cs6 on mac.
  • How can I get vista logo is displayed at startup?
    For some reason, I see only the loading bar and no logo on it. How should I do?
    The 'logo' shows briefly (and this isn't the standard logo) after the loading of the process bar and the black screen that follows but before providing the option of login screen.  There is no way in Vista to control the operation of the system during this process (until the login screen appears and then that can be configured and even eliminated, if that is your wish).
    Here is a free software program 3rd party who claims to be able to show the Vista logo during the boot process (though I haven't tried myself): http://www.softpedia.com/get/Desktop-Enhancements/Shell-Replacements/Vista-Boot-Logo-Generator.shtml.
    Here's another free bootable image tool: http://download.cnet.com/Vista-BootScreen/3000-2105_4-10789924.html.
    I don't know when these images will be displayed during the boot process - so it may not be what you have in mind, but they are there for you to try.
    Given that they are 3rd third-party products to play with the boot process, I first create a point in http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/create-a-restore-point-for-windows-vistas-system-restore/ restoration system and the backup of the registry: http://www.adamsdvds.co.uk/tutorials/vista/regedit/backup.php just ot be on the safe side.
    I hope this helps.
    Good luck!
  • How can I fix Vista 64-bit OS on a HP that keeps generates error message: Windows Explorer has stop working. wait, restart, or shut down.
    It seems after I did a disc clean up around an update of the system of MS, I started having sites is not responding message 'updating of web page' and other this same message if I do not know
    "Windows Explorer has stopped working, wait, restart or close the program.  What is the cause?  I don't have a Vista disk... it came with my HP dv5 Pavilioin.
    If anyone has any ideas... Please help...
    Thank you
    I told you to do many things. What you have tried and what you are still trying (if we can get a happening of todo list and I can check it)? Have you managed to find the results of chkdsk?
    Copy and paste so the formatting is good. It is a single line. If you get an error message, you can copy it by right-clicking in the window, choose the brand, by selecting the text, and press ENTER.
    There are communes of false positives of SFC so do not assume that something is actually corrupted until we see what files it complains. Settings.ini, desktop.ini, tcpmon.ini and ending with mof files are false positives.
    For the results of the SFC
    Start - All Programs - Accessories - right on command prompt and choose run as administrator. Type (or copy and paste by clicking in the command prompt window and choose Paste).
    findstr/c: "[SR] cannot" %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log|more "
    It will be able to see which files are corrupted.
    To see if there
    findstr/c: "[SR] repair" %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log|more
  • How can I get Vista navigation pane to only work for a specific folder view?
    I am running Windows Vista classic folders. Significant irritation is that I want to have the navigation pane enabled for the _only_ in my computer/Windows Explorer folder. I don't want that it activated for other folders with groups of icons for programs.
    But I find that when I turn it on for the first folder, it becomes activated for all. On the other hand, if I turn it off for a program icon folder, it is disabled for all files, including the Windows Explorer.
    So, how to customize the navigation pane to make it work for a folder specific _only_?
    The other models are for music or photos or videos or Documents (and I can't remember the fifth).  They show the different columns and present different data sorted differently.  I don't think they will solve your problem.
    Some general information here is on models and how to set any records that might be of interest to you (but will not solve your problem, I think):
    Here's how to change the default template for a folder: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/70819-windows-explorer-folder-view-settings.html.  Default behavior is to select the model based on the first type of file placed in the folder (you must choose something).  Vista sets the folder type template according to what are the types of files in the window and the settings display window Explorer. This will show how to reset the display settings for the Windows File Explorer, disable Automatic folder Type Discovery (which is I think what you want)and increase the folder display the cache to make Vista do not forget the display settings, the folder type template, the size or the position of a specific window for when it was still closed to the location of specific path.
    It does not work with the Sub record under, Open with, open in a new tab (Internet Explorer), etc... dialog windows of type through the good File menu bar item. These don't seem to be able to have their size or their position to recall. For the latter, you can use the free program http://autosizer.en.softonic.com/ to resize them.
    Here is another article on how to modify the columns in Windows Explorer and sort in Vista: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/108665-column-customize.html.  This will show you how Add, Remove, move, change the widthand change the sort order of the columns in Windows Explorer in the way that you want.
    Here is another article on how to change the display of the default folders in Vista (but she argues, it is not a perfect solution and can revert to the previous behavior is not as good as the two prior links provided: http://news.cnet.com/8301-13880_3-10019957-68.html.)
    I hope this helps in your situation.
    Good luck!
  • How can I get Vista like that?
    So I have my refurbished laptop but they it downgraded to XP and Vista. There is a serial number on the bottom of the laptop to get a copy of Windows Vista. I was wondering if there was a place to download vista and enter a code or something. Hanks on advance
    They must not have downgraded you without your permission. Take it to where you got the refurbished laptop and insist that they restore the original Vista operating system. You shouldn't have to do the race about to solve a problem, they created.
