  Import playlist to Excel PowerToy offers an easy way to import lists of audio and video (with the .asx extension) of the Microsoft Windows Media Player in a worksheet in Microsoft Excel 2002 or later.

  After the playlist is imported into Excel, you can sort and retrieve information for each item in the list, including name, artist, genre, and bit rate of each file, sort and AutoFilter features in Excel.
