How can I install applications on the sierra?

I've just updated to sierra and I don't have any apps from adobe installed. I am trying to install a demo. The CC app is stuck on the loading screen and won't show me a list of apps. He tells me he can not create a directory in support of the request, but I created manually and try again. Is it possible to install apps manually? I heard that they are running in the sierra, but perhaps these people had already installed applications?
