  I think most of the technicians know how to use a recovery partition, but the real problem for the recovery of Windows 8, it is each brand (oem) will need an installation disc for their particular model. We can install a Dell windows 7 cd on any PC OEM and after doing the updates, it will itself attest. With windows 8 you can even not windows to be installed on the PC if the disk you put in does not support security in the BIOS.  In other words, you need the proper (HP, Dell, etc.) model numbers version of Windows 8 recovery CD similarly be able to install it.
  If you are a system integrator or building a PC for yourself I think that the normal OEM cd should work as long as you you know number OEM KEY or product key. Its the BRAND PC which will be a pain in the buttocks in the future for technicians who have to reinstall Windows 8 on a VIRGIN hard drive AGAIN.

  Don't know what your problem is - log on to Skydrive and recover the files that you need them, or download the app to Skydrive and they will all be uploaded at the same time.

  I was a little confused on the way Thunderbird handles the local folder. My local folder is not strictly local, but IMAP as my account records. I would like to be able to unload some of my old files on my hard drive and have them always accessible via Thunderbird. The question becomes greater now that I use a lot of server space, and since this is a business account that I would rather not remove them. I want to archive them. I tried archive but it is just another IMAP folder and so is my local files.   All I want to do now is to archive some of my old emails, so they are no longer on the server. How can I do to make it.   Easy transfer copy some things but not all things. He does more that can make a simple copy/paste (such as the settings for example) but, for example, not programs transfer (those who need to be put back in place).  Here is a description of what it does (and does not): http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928635.  It will transfer Outlook 2007 PDF files and other personal data if they are selected - you need to know which files you need and where to select them - but it won't transfer the program (which must be put back in place).  It must be run before you reformat the hard disk to collect data and then you can transfer everything what you have registered once the system is re-installled.  You would do the re-setup prior to the transfer.

  You can follow the steps below and check if it helps to delete the browsing history and feeds on indexing.

  from Internet Explorer, click Tools and then click Internet Options. On the content tab, in the AutoComplete section, click settings.

  b. in the AutoComplete Settings dialog box, uncheck the historic boxes of navigation and feed the completion options, you want to use.

  c. to clear web address history or AutoComplete, click the general tab. Under browsing history, click on delete. In the delete browsing history dialog, click the buttons clear forms and clear passwords.

  Restart the computer and check if its indexed.

  Independent of how this feature works, you want to have your photos in one place and have a backup (second copy) somewhere else. All hard drives will not be successful at some point - some more early, some late - never trust to have your files in any safety devices if they are on a single disc. Once you have your sorted, it would be useful that you will organize/name/tag new photos immediately if the task is relatively short and simple. I copy my photos on my internal hard drive for my camera, take a quick look with preview to see who needs some changes and then decide where to put them - either drop them immediately after naming them or bring in an editing application and then file them away.
