  Assuming you have Reader 9.3.4 already installed on your machine, you can try the following to make demand opening of default PDF Reader 9.3.4:

  1. right click on any PDF on your system, and then click the option 'Open with' from the context menu that appears. In case you get another submenu, click on program selected in this menu. (Where you don't see 'Open with' option, then hold down the SHIFT key and right-click on the file)

  2. click on the Browse button in the dialog box that appears, select Reader 9. Make sure you check the box "always use the selected program to open this type of file"

  3. click on OK.

  IF the printing software will not spill the content and that you use MS Word, you can insert a text box into the page. A text box can be made to almost the entire page size by larger margins in the print options.

  To return the text box as a mirror image in Word (after content is added):

  1. Right-click the text box and choose Format shape.
  2. In the left pane, choose 3D Rotation.
  3. Set the X to 180, and click OK.

  Personally, I have better results/control using Photoshop.

  I do not know alternatives to use Mac because I'm not a Mac user.
